Holiday packing tips
Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday.
1. Write a list
Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase.
Or for complete ease, try Google’s AI app – Gemini – which will create a list for you and help you not over pack.
2. Involve your kids
Jemma said: “My girls are getting older, they’re 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say ‘this is what you need’ and they follow the list.
“And then I give them a rucksack each – and say to them ‘you can have whatever you want in there as long as it’s not liquid’, and they can take that on the plane. And that’s their ‘home away from home’ items.”
3. Try a hack or two
She said: “I think they all work, but for different reasons – and you’ve just got to pick the right one for your trip.
“Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you’re trying to get a lot of items into your case, it’s a space saver.
“Packing cubes are great – for example, I’m going on holiday with my three kids and we’re all using the same suitcase for our clothes.
“These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked.
“I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we’ve arrived.”
4. Decant beauty products
Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets – which are much lighter and smaller.
Or, if you’ll be popping to the shops when you’re abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive.
5. Get organised before you come home
Jemma said: “When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes.
“Also pack it in some form of order – so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person.
“Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don’t leave it.”
More Bargain Buys
It’s not the only bargain buy shoppers are going wild for in Home Bargains.
The Tommee Tippee First Tastes weaning starter kit, is currently priced at just £5.99.
On the Home Bargain sign it said that the pack is usually priced at £15.99, meaning you save £9.01.
Included in the kit is a Roll ‘n’ Go bib comes with a crumb catcher.
It also has a number of Easiscoop feeding bowls, which stack inside each other to save on space.
They are said to be safe to use in the microwave, and BPA free – as well as being dishwasher safe.
There are also a number of ergonomically shaped spoons which are “easy to hold, without getting your fingers messy.”
Meanwhile, the kit also comes with a weaning sippy cup to help develop tipping and sipping skills whilst preventing spills.
Queen ‘saw straight through Meghan’ & branded her and Harry a ‘catastrophe’ in weeks before she died, insider reveals
THE late Queen allegedly branded Prince Harry’s relationship with Meghan Markle a “complete catastrophe” in the weeks before she died.
An insider has revealed how the late monarch “saw straight through Meghan” in the lead up to her passing in September 2022.

Journalist and royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith revealed the queens thoughts on her Substack Royal Extras.
Bedell Smith previously told how Harry had been rude to his grandmother during a meeting about his wedding with Meghan refusing to reveal details about her death.
Bedell Smith said the interaction left the queen “saddened.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always claimed their relationship with the Queen was warm despite the rift between them and other senior royals.
According to a source, Bedell Smith says, the queen made some strong remarks about the Sussexes at Balmoral just weeks before her death.
A group of guests at the Scots castle were alleged to have been privy to some strongly worded comments made by the late queen about Harry and Meghan’s union.
It came just months before her majesty sadly passed away in September 2022.
A source said: “It was out of character for the Queen…but she saw straight through Meghan.
“At the drinks before the dinner, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a complete catastrophe.”
“By this point we all knew the Queen’s health was in decline and she had months left, she seemed regretful about how things had panned out.”
At this point the Sussexes had stepped down as working royals and were living in Montecito.
When ‘Megxit’ was announced the late Queen Elizabeth said in a statement: “Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved members of my family.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and went on to publicly criticise the family in their 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview.
The relationship began to break down in the run up to Harry and Meghan’s wedding according to insiders.

In the run up to the Harry and Meghan’s wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor in 2018, the queen is alleged to have said her grandson was “besotted and weak.”
She also worried that his bride-to-be had manipulated the prince, while getting away with a raft of bad behaviour.
The Queen’s first cousin is alleged to have said just days before Meghan and Harry’s wedding: “We hope but don’t quite think she is in love. We think she engineered it all.”
According to Bedell Smith, when Harry and Meghan announced their plans to step down as working royals in 2020 the queen tried to find a compromise to stop ‘Megxit.’
The couple said at the time that they were stepping back to gain more financial independence and avoid the prying eyes of the media.
Inside Prince William and Prince Harry's 'feud'

TENSIONS have been running high in the royal family since Prince Harry stepped down from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to California with Meghan Markle.
Their last reported interaction was during the funeral of their grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022, but conversations were said to be brief.
The feuding brothers reportedly did not speak to each other despite standing “virtually back to back” among mourners at their uncle’s memorial service last year.
Growing up, Wills and Harry shared many of the same friends who were part of their close, tight-knit circle.
But their relationship took a sour turn after Harry lobbed vile allegations against the Prince of Wales in his memoir Spare – and they are said to have not been in direct contact since the 2023 release.
In the book, he claimed William had physically attacked him and knocked him to the floor in 2019 and made insulting comments about Meghan.
The Sussexes had also targeted Princess Kate, when Meghan claimed the royal made her cry.
The bitter feud was ignited when the Sussexes told Oprah, in their 2021 sit down interview, that certain members of the Royal Family had speculated about Prince Archie’s skin colour.
It was later claimed the royals were Princess Kate and King Charles, after Harry and Meghan’s former pal Omid Scobie published his hatchet-job book Endgame.
During the infamous Oprah interview, the duchess also made stinging comments about the Firm and how they handled her mental health struggles.
Prince William and Harry’s bond then worsened after the Sussexes made a number of accusations against the Royal Family in their 2022 Netflix docuseries.
The duke has given subsequent interviews, such as his most BBC chat in May 2025, that have only propelled bad blood.

Brooklyn Beckham ‘could cause heartbreak’ for little sister Harper as feud casts shadow over her birthday celebrations
BROOKLYN Beckham “could cause heartbreak” for his little sister Harper as a feud casts shadow over her birthday celebrations.
The son of David and Victoria Beckham has hit the headlines recently after a distancing from his family.

Rumours about a feud with the Beckham clan and Nicola Peltz, 30, have circulated since her £3million wedding to Brooklyn, 26, in Florida.
Since then, the alleged clash has intensified as Brooklyn snubbed all four parties that were thrown for his ex-footballer dad David to celebrate his birthday.
Then more recently, Brooklyn sparked further conversation as he celebrated Nicola’s dad birthday despite missing his own dad’s birthday bash.
It comes as Brooklyn was backed by his godfather Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish, after he posted a photo with wife Nicola last week.
Elton wrote: “Happy Anniversary to the sweetest, most loving couple,” followed by love hearts“
His husband David added his own comment, which read: “Happy Anniversary to the gorgeous couple.”
Elton is the godfather of the Beckhams‘ eldest son Brooklyn, and they’re very close, regularly going on trips abroad together over the years.
Both Victoria and David Beckham failed to comment on or like their son’s anniversary post.
According to The Mail, his family – which include Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, – refer to the aspiring chef as ‘The Hostage’.
It’s also been reported that the former amateur photographer failed to even congratulate his dad after news emerged of his knighthood.
It was recently revealed that the situation has become so severe that Brooklyn is no longer on speaking terms with his siblings.
Now Harper, the youngest of David and Victoria’s children, turns 14 on Thursday and Brooklyn is expected to be missing from the Beckhams’ festivities once again reports The Mirror.
A source said that while the family fallout is mainly between Brooklyn and his parents, his younger siblings – including birthday girl Harper – have sadly become collateral damage.
“Harper’s been particularly affected by what’s going on because she’s always been really close to Brooklyn,” claimed the source.
“They’ve always had a lovely bond because Brooklyn was that bit older when Harper was born and the hope when Brooklyn married Nicola was that she’d become like a big sister to Harper in a house full of brothers.
“But obviously that hasn’t happened and it’s potentially going to be heart breaking for Harper if Brooklyn doesn’t show up for her on her birthday.”
It has been said that Victoria would like nothing more than for Brooklyn to show up to celebrate with them all, but it’s not looking likely at all.
The source added: “He took a stand and missed his dad’s 50th so he’s not likely to suddenly do a U-turn and forget everything that’s happened, as much as he loves Harper.”
However, if he did turn up, it could be an end to the family drama and the best birthday present Harper could ask for.
But Brooklyn’s allegiance appears to have perhaps shifted away from his family.
“He didn’t want it to turn out this way and he’s always been really close to all his siblings, but he is a married man now and his priorities have to lie somewhere else,” the source disclosed.

Iga Swiatek reveals how she eats strawberries and cream and says ‘Wimbledon is going to ban me’ over controversial take
IGA SWIATEK has revealed that she likes to eat pasta with strawberries and cream.
Wimbledon is renowned for its famous strawberries and cream combo.

But only now are All England Club punters being introduced to pasta and strawberries.
Earlier this week, Swiatek posted a picture of her interesting dish, captioning it: “come in guyssss, this is (Poland flag) speciality.”
Following her dominant 6-2 6-3 win over Danielle Collins, Polish star Swiatek was asked more about strawberries and pasta.
Grinning, the five-time Grand Slam champion said: “Why is it such a big thing? Everybody should eat that.”
The 24-year-old then added: “I think in summer kids are eating it a lot. I don’t know. It’s just a perfect mix of tastes, so…
“It is a Polish thing, right? We have great strawberries in Poland, as well.”
Quizzed on whether Poland has better strawberries than England, Swiatek added: “I think Poland. Because we have better climate for strawberries, right?
“Now Wimbledon is probably going to ban me from answering these questions.

“No, the strawberries are great here, as well. They are different. But they are great, as well.”
On the subject, Swiatek concluded: “Pasta fits everything. But strawberries are the best one, I would say.”
The former world No1 had been on a collision course with ex-Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina.
But the Kazakh star threw in a shocking performance to lose to Clara Tauson yesterday.
On the threat that the Dane poses, Swiatek added: “Well, for sure it’s going to be challenging.
“When she plays well, she can hit great serves, amazing winners. She has great touch. She’s really talented. So for sure there’s a reason she’s in the fourth round.
“I haven’t watched her matches because I’m not watching a lot.
“For sure I’m going to prepare tomorrow and I’ll be ready. It’s going to be a challenge, for sure.”

Major change to F1 trophies at British Grand Prix for first time ever and they took 210 HOURS to make
FORMULA ONE and Lego have taken the next step in their relationship at the British Grand Prix.
As Lewis Hamilton and co battle on track, the three podium sitters at Silverstone will be presented with a set of stunning trophies made completely out of Lego Bricks.

The partnership comes as part of F1’s 75th anniversary celebrations at the iconic racetrack after it hosted the first ever F1 race in 1950.
A team of seven master builders spent a combined 210 hours meticulously designing and crafting four trophies – three for the drivers and one for the constructor – at the Lego model shop in Billund, Denmark.
Inspired by the RAC (Royal Automobile Club) trophy – handed to seven-time Hamilton after he won last year’s race at Silverstone – the new one-of-a-kind first place trophy shows off a stunning golden tint.
Standing at over 23 inches tall, the first place trophy is comprised of a staggering 2,717 Lego elements and weighs more than 2kg – while the constructors trophy shares the same characteristics.
The second and third place trophies are no less impressive a feat of Lego engineering for the first-ever version of the prize.
They also consist of 2,298 Lego elements each, both weigh in at 1.5kg and stand at over 17 inches tall.
But for Samuel Liltorp Johnson, Lego’s creative lead on the project, the trophies are the end of a “magic” journey.
Speaking exclusively to SunSport from Silverstone, Samuel reveals the project was something he had dreamed of since he was a kid – despite the project being very stressful as it only landed on his desk around Easter time.

He said: “To be honest, if I could tell my my grandad when I was a kid that this was something that I would do, he’d probably be like, ‘as if, mate’.
“But for me it was something we did together in my family when I was a kid, we watched F1.
“The process of going through this, it’s been a bit breakneck speed, to be honest, like a real F1 race.
“We found out about it not that long ago, and we’ve really wanted to give it all and what it deserves, and we’ve been working very closely with the Silverstone team.
“I think, after all of that passion from both sides, learning each other’s stories and what it means, I think that’s really made it something that’s turned out quite beautiful.”
Samuel emphasises the team wanted to create a trophy infused with the heritage and magic of F1 combined with the Lego flair.
But it was a hard ask, with a completely new process for making the Lego Bricks being implemented to ensure they met the “breakneck” deadline.
Regardless, Samuel believes the team has “made magic” and hopes fans will enjoy the fruits of their labour.
He adds: “I think it’s a dream of everyone to be here at the pinnacle of F1 on its 75th birthday…
“We talked about the RAC trophy being a very beautiful piece of sculpture, and when you try and replicate that in square bricks it’s a bit of a challenge to get it 100 per cent perfect.
“But we didn’t want it to be a copy, it should be inspired by it, so one of the things that we put on that was kind of a bit outrageous, but we wanted to be playful with it as well.
“We have one of our F1 collectable cars mounted on the front of the trophy, so there’s actually a car on the trophy and also a little Lego Brick on the top, so that’s just kind of our signature, if you like, on the item itself.”
Samuel also feels the trophies are priceless, saying: “It’s been so many hours and everything, it’s got to be priceless.
“I think the experience for me, I can’t really put a monetary value on that.
“Being at Silverstone and just seeing all this going on and knowing we’re a part of that.
“It’s been pretty crazy.”
Samuel keeps talk of any future projects under wraps but insists he does not expect the partnership to go away anytime soon.
Lego previously created a set of life-size Lego F1 cars which the drivers had a blast driving around in before the Miami Grand Prix.

Casa Amor gets underway as the Love Island lads snog the sexy new bombshells – and Harry reunites with ex Emma
CASA Amor is officially underway as the boys snog the sexy new bombshells in a game of Truth or Dare, and Harry reunites with his ex Emma.
The iconic segment of the hit dating show officially makes its return tonight – and there’s no messing around where the boys are concerned.

As they get settled into Casa, Dejon suggests spicing up the atmosphere with a game of Truth or Dare so that everyone can get to know each other on a deeper level.
This soon leads to Casa snogs, as Ben engages in a three way kiss with the bombshells of his choice – one of which is Harry’s ex, Emma.
But that’s not the only cheeky interaction that takes place, with Harrison snogging one of the bombshells he’s most attracted to.
And as the kiss lingers a little bit too long, the group tells them that they can stop.
Harry also reunites with his ex Emma as they head into Casa Amor, and confirms that the ‘E’ tattooed on his wrist is in fact for her.
Harry and Emma are reacquainted, as she tells him: “Surprise!”
The group sits down and the Islanders share what their types are. When Yaz explains that she requires emotional availability from a man, Emma whispers to Harry “well that’s you out.”
When quizzed about how strong out of 10 his relationship is with Toni, Harrison tells the new Bombshells: “Seven, could be better..”
When asked if any of the new girls have caught his eye, Tommy tells the group: “There’s definitely a few of you that tickle my fancy.”
Emma is also quick to call Harry and Helena “snakes,” after their recent villa behaviour.
Catching up with his ex, Harry says: “I don’t need you to come and tell me off.”
Emma responds: ““It’s disgraceful though… like, how are you still doing the same thing?
“The way you’ve been moving with Helena honestly… you two deserve each other… two snakes.”
Love Island 2025 OG Harry was left stunned when his ex Emma entered the compound on Friday.
Upon seeing them, Harry could be heard saying: “Oh my god, it’s my ex.”
It comes as The Sun revealed the identity of Harry’s ex-girlfriend – after fans spotted a secret tribute to her.
The Sun uncovered that the woman is named Emma, after viewers noticed Harry’s wrist tattoo of the letter “E” and began digging for clues online.
Emma previously shared a sunset selfie to Instagram, where she was seen cosying up to Harry in matching baseball caps, hers bearing an “E” and, his, an “H”.
The image, which has since been deleted, was dated 18 April 2022.
Emma also bears a striking resemblance to one of Harry’s co-stars, sparking comparisons from fans who claim she looks “more like Shakira than Helena.”
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
