EastEnders legend confirms permanent return after 27 years

EASTENDERS actor Karen Henthorn is returning to the soap for the first time since 1998.

The soap star is coming back as Nigel Bates’ wife Julie amid his dementia battle.

However, Nigel walked out on her over a year ago without being honest about his diagnosis.

Next week, she will go up against Nigel’s best pal Phil Mitchell as they row over his care.

Karen said: “Even with the Phil situation, Julie knows that as long as she’s with Nigel – and he knows how much she loves him – that’s what matters.

“They are facing a hard road ahead, but they’ve got each other now.

“Julie loves Nigel more than anyone else, and she’ll go above and beyond to help him. Phil can be as difficult as he wants to Julie, she’s not going anywhere.”

Phil is left furious when Julie reveals she wants to take Nigel back to Scotland with her.

“She’s really angry because Phil knew where Nigel was all this time, and he could have told Julie,” Karen adds.

“She doesn’t understand why he didn’t get in touch with her, and that leads to clashes between them.

“Also, Julie believes Nigel should have as much support as possible, so she doesn’t get why Phil is trying to cut her out.”

Nigel was seen back on EastEnders for the first time in 27 years when he appeared in the 2024 Christmas Eve episode.

The character left the show in April 1998 when he and his adopted daughter Clare fled Albert Square to start a new life in Scotland with his partner Julie Haye and her son Josh.

Actor Paul Bradley said at the time he was “thrilled and honoured” to be back.

Women expect me to be a stallion in bed because I’m fit & sporty… but I’ve never lasted longer than a MINUTE during sex

AN ex of mine had an unusual tactic for helping him last longer in the sack.

While at first I wasn’t sure, I have to hand it to him – there was method to his madness.

Georgie Culley tells how an ex lover used to play classical music to last longer in bed[/caption]

Did he use the technique of edging? Did he douse his member in men’s climax delay spray?

While all those are great ways to last longer in the sack, the answer is no – he actually listened to classical music to hit my, ahem, high notes.

In my new no holds barred series, I’ll be answering YOUR biggest bedroom conundrums, sharing my wild real-life experiences and practical tips to help you fulfil your wildest dreams between the sheets.

This week one reader opens up about how premature ejaculation (PE) is wrecking his sex life.

Got a sex dilemma of your own? Pop your question in the form above and I’ll answer it.

Q. I’m a 23 year old man and I’ve never lasted longer than a minute in bed. As I’m sporty and fit, women always expect me to have tons of stamina and in reality I’m a total flop.

I recently made the mistake of confiding in my mates and they now call me ‘One Minute Dan’.

I laugh it off in the pub but it’s actually destroying every aspect of my life. Is there anything I can do to last longer between the sheets? It’s ruined every relationship I’ve had.

Georgie says:

It’s no surprise this is causing you huge distress, in and out of the bedroom.

You’re fit, sporty, and women are expecting you to be a stallion between the sheets. The pressure can be immense.

That “One Minute Dan” nickname? Not helpful. Banter aside, it’s chipped away at your confidence, and that kind of stress can actually exacerbate the problem.

Don’t panic. PE is very common in younger men and often caused by psychological issues and performance anxiety.

It doesn’t define your worth or what you can offer in a relationship but I understand you want to last longer.

Here are some steps you can take to tackle the issue…

Rule out any medical issues

If you’re experiencing any problems in the bedroom then it’s always a good idea to consult a GP first and just rule out any underlying medical issues.

Sometimes erectile dysfunction can be caused by an underlying condition, or certain medication can wreak havoc down below, so be sure to speak to a GP first before you try alternative methods.

Focus on foreplay

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: good sex isn’t just about penetrative sex. We need to forget that outdated notion.

If you ask most women what makes them orgasm, it isn’t intercourse.

Most women need clitoral stimulation to climax, so spend about 15 minutes on foreplay, as most women need about 14 minutes of sexual stimulation to orgasm.

Sex toys aren’t cheating

Some men get a little offended when women bring sex toys into the bedroom – but it’s time to ditch the ridiculous idea that toys equal a “cheating orgasm”.

They don’t. What they do offer is a brilliant way to help women reach climax.

Think of them as a helping hand during foreplay or sex – not a replacement, but a teammate.

Ditch boozing

Sun Sexpert Georgie Culley says alcohol can wreak havoc down below
Olivia West

It’s no secret that too much booze can wreak havoc between the sheets – especially when it comes to lift off.

Men who are dependent on alcohol have a 60 to 70 per cent chance of suffering from erectile dysfunction, with premature ejaculation and a low libido being the most common.

To stay harder than a Sunday Times crossword, ditch drinking before getting busy in the bedroom.

Edging

This is a brilliant technique to help guys suffering from PE and help them last longer than a Bridgerton boxset.

During masturbation or sex, stop stimulation just before ejaculation. Wait until the urge to climax fades, then start again.

Repeat this three to four times before orgasm and it will help you last longer after time.

Without the pressure to climax quickly, edging can remove performance anxiety, creating a more relaxed and enjoyable experience in the bedroom.

Top tip: edging isn’t just for men — women can seriously benefit from it, too. By getting close to orgasm, then backing off before going all the way, you can build up even more intense pleasure.

Personally, if I’m after a longer, stronger climax, I’ll use edging during sex as well.

Use the squeezing technique

Georgie recommends speaking to your GP to rule out any underlying issues that could be causing premature ejaculation[/caption]

This technique is simple but seriously effective.

When close to climax, gently squeeze the base of the penis for a few seconds. This can delay ejaculation by reducing arousal.

It works better with a partner’s cooperation, so don’t be afraid to talk about what you’re going to do beforehand to stop any awkward moments later. After all, communication is the key to great sex.

Wear desensitising condoms

Not only are condoms great for practising safe sex but if you’re suffering from PE they’re a great way to reduce sensation.

Opt for thicker ones and ones with numbing agents (benzocaine or lidocaine) to help you last longer.

Try Boots Ultra Endurance Condoms – a 12-pack costs £8.99.

Try a delay spray

These days there’s a sex aid for just about everything in the bedroom – and I’m all for using them.

One of my ex-lovers swore by delay spray and had zero shame about it.

Around 10 minutes before sex he’d get me to spray him down, and we actually made it part of our foreplay routine, usually after a sensual massage.

It became less of a performance tool and more of a turn-on for both of us.

Try Lovehoney’s Tauro Extra Strong Delay Spray for Men (£16.99).

Make a sex playlist

While music can’t directly stop PE, it can help distract from performance anxiety.

Listening to your favourite tunes can boost mood, reduce stress and anxiety, and potentially increase endurance.

One of my exes – who could last for hours between the sheets – used to swear by a bit of Beethoven.

He said it helped him last longer than one of his symphonies, and he didn’t just help me hit the high notes – he composed a masterpiece.

Meet our sexpert

In her eight years at The Sun, there’s not much our Georgie hasn’t seen - or done - and she's loved every outrageous minute.

“People often ask how I became a sexpert,” she says. “Well, I’ve been fascinated by sex and relationships for as long as I can remember.

“As a teen, I devoured women’s mags full of scandalous confessions and steamy tips – and I was obsessed with Sex and the City.

“Maybe I was manifesting my inner Carrie Bradshaw from day one.

“I’d always dreamed of working at The Sun – and when I finally landed the job, I found my niche fast: going to sex parties and oversharing about my frequently chaotic love life.

“Over the years, I’ve built real trust within the kink and swinging community and I’ve interviewed hundreds of people about their sex lives.

“Add to that my own, um, ‘field research,’ and let’s just say I know what makes good sex great.”

Georgie says being a sexpert is about having life experience, curiosity, a sense of humour – and plenty of adventures along the way.

“There’s not much that shocks me these days,” she continues. “Except maybe a man who doesn’t believe in foreplay.

“But nothing makes me happier than hearing a reader say my advice helped them feel more confident (and satisfied) in bed.

“Now I’ll be answering your burning sex questions – and dishing out practical advice to help get you back in the saddle.”

I woke up with Ted Bundy looming over me with log… he shattered my jaw & left me to die but I survived in stroke of luck

KATHY Kleiner Rubin was in her second year at university when she was mercilessly attacked with a log by depraved serial killer, Ted Bundy.

The Florida-born author is one of the few women to have survived an encounter with the sadist, who was later found guilty of rape, necrophilia, and murder.

Theodore Bundy, more commonly known as Ted, waved to a TV camera following his indictment for the murders of Lisa Levy and Margaret Bowman[/caption]

Among his victims were 21-year-old Margaret Bowman and 20-year-old Lisa Levy, who were murdered just minutes before the 33-year-old launched his assault on Kathy.

Bundy was executed in 1989, when he admitted to murdering at least 30 women in his four-year-long reign of horror.

But his notoriety has lived on, with books and films often depicting the sadist as a charismatic killer who lured his victims with his good looks.

Decades later, Kathy has revealed how she has found peace by giving a voice to his victims and exposing Bundy’s “true” nature.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, she described him as a “loser and a sociopath” who craved the world’s attention.

NIGHT OF THE ATTACK

When Kathy was attacked, she was a second-year student at Florida State University, living in Chi Omega sorority house with girls “who felt like sisters”.

She had spent the afternoon at a church friend’s wedding but decided to head back early with her dormmate, Karen Chandler, to study for her calculus exam the following Monday.

The pair’s room was not dissimilar to any other dorm room: two single beds pushed against opposite walls, separated by a small trunk and a large bay window with curtains that remained open “all the time”.

When they turned the lights off at around 11:30pm, Kathy fell straight to sleep.

In the early hours of the morning, she awoke to the “swish” sound of the carpet.

“I remember squinting into the dark, not wearing my glasses, and seeing this black shadow standing above me, looking at me.

“I was just waking up a little bit and he had that log in his hand.

“I can close my eyes and I can see my room. And I can see him standing over me. And this is something I’ll never forget,” she said.

Wielding the same log he had used to kill her two much-adored sorority sisters, and which he had stolen from the house’s fireplace, Bundy struck Kathy’s jaw.

The sheer force shattered the bone and splintered her chin – exposing her teeth and almost severing her tongue.

“When he hit me, my first feeling was like hitting a bag of potatoes. You know, it didn’t hurt,” she added.

But it wasn’t long before adrenaline turned to agonising pain.

“It hurt so bad. The most intense pain I have ever felt,” she recalled.

Moments later, a rustle in the neighbouring bed turned Bundy’s attention to Karen.

Tripping over Kathy’s trunk, he stumbled to his next victim, before mercilessly bludgeoning her too.

In a stroke of immense fortune, the pair were saved when a couple returning home parked up beside the sorority house.

I thought I was yelling and screaming for help but all I was doing was making gurgling sounds from all the blood in my mouth

Kathy Kleiner Rubin

The headlights flooded the room with light, startling Bundy, who ran away.

Kathy said: “I was moaning and groaning and I thought I was yelling and screaming for help but all I was doing was making gurgling sounds from all the blood in my mouth.

“He came back over to my side of the room so I tucked myself into the smallest ball. I thought if he didn’t see me, he wouldn’t kill me.”

“He looked at me. He raised his arm up over his head, but just as he was about to hit me again, a bright light shone through our window,

“He got real antsy and started moving around. Then he ran out of the room.”

I thought if he didn’t see me, he wouldn’t kill me

Kathy Kleiner Rubin

Whimpering, Kathy tried calling for help but managed no more than a few “gurgling sounds” through all of the blood.

Karen was able to stumble to get help as Kathy passed out from the pain.

She recalled: “I woke up and a police officer was standing at the head of my bed looking at me.

“I touched my face and it was warm with blood. I was in excruciating pain – it felt like daggers and knives. But he just told me ‘it’s going to be OK.’”

“I knew, having been so scared that this person was going to take care of me.”

PATH TO HAPPINESS

Kathy never returned to university and spent the next nine weeks with her jaw wired shut at her parents’ house in Miami.

Therapy wasn’t an option for the young girl who was raised by Cuban parents, where sweeping problems under the rug was the “done thing”.

Instead, her parents did all they could to help her physically recover and protect her from the trauma of what happened.

“My mum wanted to shield me from the news and hearing about my sorority sisters so she would take the newspaper and cut all of the articles out that would mention Bundy,” she said.

One day they were a victim and the next day they became a survivor

Kathy Kleiner Rubin

Meanwhile, Kathy took “baby steps” to heal from the psychological wounds left from Bundy’s attack – but also from the anger and sadness of leaving behind her freedom and friends at university.

She said: “I walked outside and felt the sun on my face and looked up at the trees and saw each individual leaf, that’s part of the branch, that’s part of the tree.

“And looking at the bugs on the ground and seeing how they interact. That’s life.

“And I wanted to be part of life. I wanted to be part of what was so natural.”

Kathy recognised exposure therapy would be crucial in her path to recovery so she got a job working at a lumber yard, where she would be surrounded by men everyday.

Kathy Kleiner Rubin
Kathy said sharing her story with the world has helped her heal and connect with other survivors[/caption]

While she grew progressively less scared, dark thoughts of a figure standing behind her lingered.

Leaning on her faith, she imagined herself walking away from the darkness – each day, taking one step closer to the “light” at the end of the road.

She has since co-authored a book with writer Emilie Lebau-Luchessi, in which she revisited in painfully vivid detail the events of that night.

Although challenging, Kathy said sharing her story with the world has helped her heal and connect with other survivors.

“They just need to know that one day they were a victim and the next day they became a survivor.

“That survivor has to live the rest of their life and they can talk about it and they can feel it but they shouldn’t dwell on it.

“They need to move on and and not let this put them in a box but just take baby steps to heal themselves,” she said.

Explosive Love Island ‘scandal’ airs TONIGHT as stars sneak to terrace for secret kiss behind their partners’ backs

AN iconic moment set to rival Ekin-Su’s terrace crawl will play out on Love Island tonight – and the fallout will be explosive.

The Sun can reveal a juicy ‘scandal’ between two islanders who aren’t coupled up with each other.

The moment mischievous Ekin-Su crawled onto the terrace to snog Jay in 2023
Rex

It comes hours after Movie Night in the villa, which saw stars come to blows over the footage.

In the aftermath, two choose to risk it all with their other halves for a secret rendezvous on the terrace.

The pair, who we are choosing not to name, hope to ignite an intimate moment away from prying eyes.

While on the stairs after getting ready for the night, one mischievous Islander whispers to another: “After you get a drink, do you want to meet me? Terrace?”

Outside, the group cheers and one by one the Islanders in question sneak away suspiciously.

As the two sneak out to the Terrace, crouching down to avoid being seen, the Islander who initiated the Terrace rendezvous reaches out and says: “We have to sit on the floor.

“Otherwise they’re going to see… I don’t want them to see.”

As the exchange continues to get flirtier and sparks fly, the two lock eyes sitting on the floor out of view from the rest of the Islanders.

“Would it be bad if I kissed you right now?” one Islander asks the other.

“You have no problem being bad,” the other replies, while their unsuspecting partners are just metres away.

A show spokesman told The Sun: “Fans went wild for the Ekin-Su terrace crawl, and tonight’s episode is set to give that iconic moment a run for its money.

“Viewers will be on the edge of their seats during tonight’s Terrace action between two mischievous Islanders as they squat and hide out of sight from the rest of the Villa.

“But will their sneaky plan pay off? One thing is for sure, you can expect fireworks. This is one for the Love Island hall of fame.”

In 2023, Ekin-Su became a Love Island legend after crawling onto the terrace to secretly meet Jay Younger for a kiss – avoiding her then partner Davide’s gaze.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 or on ITVX.

I’m a traveller & my cleaning hacks are from 2 generations – people think it’s dangerous but my grandmother did it

WE all have our go-to cleaning routines, often inherited from family or picked up along the way.

But for TikTok user Angela, known as @cleanwithangelaannd, her methods are deeply rooted in her Traveller heritage – and some of them have sparked quite a debate online.

Woman holding a cup, explaining cleaning hacks.

Angela has taken to TikTok to share her cleaning hacks[/caption]

Angela recently took to TikTok to share a cleaning hack that’s been passed down through her family for generations.

And it’s one that might raise a few eyebrows for those not familiar with it.

“Every single Traveller that I know washes up their kitchen with washing up liquid and bleach,” Angela revealed in her video.

She showed herself topping up her basin with the mix.

It wasn’t until she joined TikTok that Angela realised this wasn’t a universal cleaning practice.

“I knew that not everybody puts bleach into their washing up basin. Some people don’t even own a washing up basin,” she explained.

Her video has gained 977.3k views and 1,962 comments after it was shared on 4 July.

Naturally, the comments section lit up with questions and concerns about the safety of mixing bleach and washing-up liquid.

But Angela was quick to reassure her followers.

She revealed that one common question she gets asked daily is about using bleach in the washing up basin.

Angela went on to clarify that there is a “tiny bit of bleach” in the basin and “a lot of water.”

For Angela, this method isn’t just a personal preference; it’s a deeply ingrained tradition.

“My mother did it. Her mother before her did it. And every single person that I actually know does it,” she says.

Angela also noted a similar cleaning habit among another community.

How travellers wash dishes.

Angela has revealed the products she uses to clean the dishes[/caption]

Beyond the bleach, Angela highlighted another key aspect of Traveller cleaning that goes far beyond just doing the dishes.

She explained that travellers are taught to also wipe down the walls, tables, outside the fridge, the washing machine, floor, oven and anything that needs to be done.

And the meticulous routine doesn’t stop there.

Angela also explained that she’ll always make sure a wash is on before leaving the room.

Despite the effort, Angela wouldn’t have it any other way.

One person commented on her video writing: “I actually love watching traveller cleaning videos, everyone is so stereotypical, you’re probably the cleanest people on this earth!!”

5 cleaning hacks

Say goodbye to ironing

Don’t have time to smooth out the wrinkles of a shirt with an iron? Lenor‘s Crease Releaser makes wrinkles vanish – simply hang up creased items, give them a quick spritz and smooth against a hard surface.

Teabags for trainers

When trainers smell a little squiffy, pop a used (and still moist) tea bag inside and leave for about an hour. The tannins will seep into the sole of the shoe to fight nasty-smelling odours.

Remove limescale without scrubbing

When bathroom taps start looking a little grimy with limescale, slice a lemon in half and sprinkle on baking soda. Rub the fruit over the taps and with a gentle clean they will come up sparkling. Use a toothbrush to get in all the nooks and crannies.

Streak-free mirrors and windows
White vinegar is a handy secret weapon when it comes to keeping mirrors and windows streak-free. Mix one part white vinegar with four parts water in a spray bottle. Squirt then wipe with a microfibre cloth and voilà, clean glass in an instant.

Make your home smell amazing
For dust-free skirting boards, pour some fabric softener onto a cloth and give them a quick wipe. It will stop dirt collecting so quickly and, as an added bonus, make your home smell amazing.

A second added: “I love bleach,I know that travellers love to wash up with bleach.”

A third said: “I’m not a traveller but Irish bred and always been taught a little bleach in the washing bowl. I can’t wash up without it.

“And if I can’t smell bleach after a house is clean then I don’t feel clean.”

While bleach can be used to sanitise dishes, experts urge those to not do it for regular washing due to potential health risks and damage to dishware.

When using bleach, be sure to check the lapel for an EPA statement that confirms it sanitises.

Bleach is a strong chemical and can cause irritation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory system, according to Yaya Maria’s

It can also be harmful if ingested, even in small amounts.

Bleach can also discolour or damage certain materials and it can also corrode metal over time.

The impact of using plastic cleaning products

Laura Harnett, founder of eco cleaning brand, Seep, said: “Many people have switched to eco friendly cleaning sprays and detergents but aren’t aware that cleaning tools (such as green and yellow sponges and microfibre cloths) are made of plastic and release microplastics every time they are used.

“Microplastic is a huge concern as they are released into our water every time a plastic sponge or cloth is used to wash up or is rinsed out.

“A yellow and green plastic sponge lasts approximately one month and when you see the green part go bobbly that’s all of the microplastic coming out of it.”

    • 600 million plastic household items end up in landfill every year
    • 13 million tonnes of plastic lead into our oceans each year
    • 1.1 million marine animals die each year as they swallow, get strangled or are suffocated by plastic

Look around the tiny English island with a volcano, rare wildlife & 250 residents who have one of 7 surnames

AN ENGLISH island with its own volcano and unique wildlife, has just 250 residents.

Residents of this remote settlement speak English, but the language has evolved over the years, so sounds completely different to the dialect we are used to.

The islanders share just seven surnames[/caption]

    The world’s most remote settlement

Edinburgh of the Seven Seas – named after it was visited by The Duke of Edinburgh HRH Prince Alfred in 1887 – is said to be the world’s most isolated settlement, as it is further (1,514 miles) from its nearest neighbour, St Helena, than any other community in the world.

The village, which is known as simply The Settlement to locals, is the only inhabited area of Tristan da Cunha, a group of tiny islands that make up one of three constituent parts of the British Overseas Territory of Saint Helena.

Despite being 5,000 miles away from the UK, its 250 inhabitants are British citizens who are all descended from original settlers.

The islanders share just seven surnames between them: Glass, Swain, Green, Rogers, Hagan, Repetto and Lavarello.

Among the residents is a doctor, and other professionals such as dentists, opticians and priests often visit for a few months, to provide services to the islanders.

All of the land on the land on Tristan da Cunha is communally owned, with outsiders prohibited from buying or selling land on the island.

Agriculture and fishing are the island’s major industries, with the Tristan rock lobster being the island’s biggest export.

Tristan de Cunha was discovered in 1506 by Portuguese explorer Tristão da Cunha and was then settled by British marines and American whalers.

In the war, the tiny set of islands was used as a weather station, and the currency in Tristan is the pound.

Tristan has two volcanoes Queen Mary’s Peak on the main island and Edinburgh Peak on Gough Island.

Queen Mary’s Peak last erupted back in 1961, whilst Edinburgh Peak is classified as extinct.

It is also home to an abundance of wildlife, such as rockhopper penguins, whales and dolphins.

    How to get there

If you want to visit the island, you need permission to land, and you will need to show proof of travel insurance and a fully paid return ticket.

There are no planes or airports, so you will have to travel by boat to the island, either by a five-to-ten-day sea voyage from Cape Town aboard fishing vessels or Polar research trips.

    Getty
There are no planes or airports on the island[/caption]

And, once you’ve got to the island, there’s no guarantee your ship will be able to dock, with adverse weather conditions often leaving passengers stranded.

Visitors to the island must pay a landing and harbour fee (£30 for cruise passengers, £15 for yacht visitors) and each visitor has to sign an indemnity waver.

Once you’ve reached the island, there’s no mobile connection, and internet access is shared via the whole community via a slow and expensive satellite.

    Rare form of English

According to the Name Explain YouTube channel, people on the island speak the “rarest” form of English.

For example, residents shorten vowel sounds, so the word ‘base’ would be pronounced as ‘Bes’.

They also drop t’s, meaning that words such as ‘butter’ are pronounced like ‘buher’.

They also refrain from pluralising words, meaning ‘two cats’ would be simply ‘two cat’ and add an H to the beginning of words starting with a vowel, so apple becomes happle.

Robert took on the role of Rowley Jefferson in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid when he was 12 years of age.

The role of Rowley in the beloved 2010 comedy film, was the best friend of the main character Greg Heffley.

Greg was portrayed by Zachary Gordon, whom Robert reunited with last year.

More than 15 years on from his starring role, Robert looks unrecognizable from his on-screen character of Rowley.

Pop culture X account PopCrave posted a recent snap of Robert to commemorate his 27th birthday on July 9.

“Happy 27th birthday to Diary of a Wimpy Kid star Robert Capron,” the account penned alongside the snaps they shared.

Reacting to the snaps and Robert’s “glow up“, one person penned: “wow what happened he’s so hot now.”

“The glow up is real,” declared a second.

“Those don’t look even remotely close to the same person, did you use the wrong picture?” asked a third, who was baffled by the glow up.

While a fourth said: “He’s changed a lot.”

The post has had over 7.6 million views, and 213,000 likes.

Others also rushed to his Instagram page to have a look at his recent posts.

44 weeks ago, Robert shared some seriously different selfies where he looked even more mature.

    “Holy glow up,” said one.

“BRO YOU HAVE THE BEST GLOW UP DANGG,” penned another.

“Rowley out here handsome af,” said a third.

Zachary, who Robert starred alongside in the flick, shared a tribute to his pal for his birthday two days ago.

“Happy bday to my ride or die… Zoo-Wee-Mama,” he penned alongside a series of snaps.

“It’s so cool that you guys are friends irl, that bond must be pretty powerful,” said one person in the comments section.

While a second penned: “Two handsome men right there.”

Though Robert shot to fame in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, Robert actually made his acting debut three years prior.

In 2009 he landed a small part in the movie Bride Wars in 2009 alongside Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.

But it was Diary Of A Wimpy Kid that shot him to stardom.

The hit film was based on Jeff Kinney’s 2007 book of the same name.

There ended up being three movies in the franchise overall.
