Kris, 35, was spotted nipping into a corner shop in Manchester wearing a black hoody, grey jeans and white trainers.

As he paused on the pavement, he cut a glum figure.

Former Coronation Street actress Georgia, 34, has removed her wedding ring and wiped all traces of the musician who she once called her “best friend” from her Instagram page — including glossy snaps from their wedding.

A source told The Sun: “Georgia’s marriage to Kris seems to be over.

“It’s on the rocks.

“She’s looking to the future and is surrounded by friends and her family.”

It’s been a testing time for Georgia, whose beauty business was recently destroyed in a devastating fire.

Georgia, who was runner-up on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing in 2015, had previously posted a series of photos from their big day.

She and Kris wed at a log cabin-style venue.

The actress, had been engaged to Kris for two years before they married.

He popped the question on New Year’s Eve in 2021.

Georgia, who played Katy Armstrong in ITV’s Corrie from 2010 to 2015, shared her excitement in the lead up to their nuptials, writing online under a picture of her hen do.

She said: “I am about to marry my best friend.

“The person who makes me a better person.

“Here’s to the last month of being a Foote.”

Georgia dated her Strictly Come Dancing partner Giovanni Pernice after they met during her stint on the show in 2015.

The duo finished as runners-up.

But they called it quits as a couple the ­following year and announced their split in a joint statement.

At the time, Georgia posted on X: “It is with great sadness we have decided to split up. There is nobody else involved.

“It was not an easy decision to make, but sometimes you realise that it is better to be friends and this is one of those times.

”We both have very busy work schedules for the rest of the year and so we are both going to focus on our upcoming work projects — and we wish each other well for the future.”

Georgia left Corrie to pursue other opportunities. Since then, she’s taken roles in shows including Sky comedy Trollied and US sci-fi drama The Outpost.

A representative for Georgia did not respond to our approach for comment.

A MOTHER has revealed that she quit her job, signed up to Universal Credit and had another baby.

But Xai, a mum-of-three who lives in London, has since been met with a barrage of abuse, as nasty trolls accuse her of being an “embarrassment.”

While haters have criticised the mother-of-three, she wasn’t afraid to clap back and set the record straight on her situation[/caption]

However, Xai has confidently clapped back to the keyboard warriors and shared that she wants to be “present” and “raise” her little darlings herself.

It comes after the content creator took to social media and uploaded a video of her alongside her youngest child.

Xai confirmed that recently, people have said to her: “You look happier.”

Setting the record straight on the change in her mood, Xai acknowledged: “Thanks I quit my job, signed up for Universal Credit and had another baby.”

But as Xai laughed for the short video, she also wrote: “Gonna really annoy the (income) taxpayer with this one.”

While Xai didn’t confirm how much income she receives through Universal Credit, the standard amount for those who are single and under 25 is £316.98 a month, while it’s £400.14 for parents who are single and 25 or over.

Meanwhile, for those living with a partner and both are under £25, the standard amount is £497.55, while it’s £628.10 a month for those living with a partner and one or both are over 25.

Claimants will also get the child element added to their standard amount if they are responsible for a child who normally lives with them.

There are extra amounts for a second child if they were born before 6 April 2017.

Claimants usually only get an additional payment for three or more children if they were born before 6 April 2017.

The additional child payment is £339 a month for those with an eldest child born before 6 April 2017.

It is £292.81 a month if a parents’ oldest child was born before 6 April 2017 and for a second child and each eligible child after that, it is £292.91 a month.

Big divide

Xai’s TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @xainlo_3, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 117,900 views. 

Not only this, but it’s also amassed 4,214 likes, 214 comments and 115 saves.

But social media users were left totally divided by Xai’s clip – whilst some understood her motivations, others called her “selfish.” 

One person said: “You’re an embarrassment.

“Bringing children into the world so they can suffer with you isn’t a flex.”

To this, Xai clapped back and confirmed: “No one [is] suffering round here.” 

Another added: “And my taxes are paying for it… cheers.”

Eager to share her story, Xai wrote back and shared: “No sir I’ve been an income taxpayer since I got my degree and we all still pay council tax VAT etc so your tax is not paying for a single penny of my life.

“I’m just getting back what’s mine.” 

A third commented: “Oh my I’m not excited to turn 18 and pay these selfish ones wages.” 

Not only this, but someone else wrote: “Looool I don’t mind mums getting my taxes just think it’s sad you guys would wanna give your kids the bare minimum cause UC living is barely surviving.”

To this, the mum-of-three responded: “I agree it’s not enough to survive, but it’s temporary while my kids are little.

“I want to be present and raise them myself. We’ll worry about the money before and after.”

But at the same time, others were impressed by Xai, as one mother stressed: “I wanna be like you.”

A second agreed and beamed: “As a working mum! I get it! Enjoy your time.”

Whilst another praised: “Nothing better than a mum who puts her babies and herself first.”

GARDAI are probing if the man killed in a machete attack was targeted by associates of mob boss John Gilligan, the Irish Sun can reveal.

Joseph McEvoy, 34, whose young pal was previously beaten in an assault, was found at a property in the Shancastle area of Lucan at 5.50am this morning.

It’s understood he suffered numerous stab wounds after he was attacked by a thug armed with a machete. He was later pronounced dead in hospital.

We can also reveal a suspect was arrested after the car he was driving in was stopped by officers from the Armed Support Unit.

The car was identified after a description of the vehicle was obtained by Gardai.

A number of items were seized from the car and are now being examined.

We understand Gardai are still hunting for the murder weapon.

Detectives also suspect the vehicle may have been stolen in south Dublin in the hours before the killing.

And Gardai are investigating if a number of cars set on fire in a nearby street after the murder are linked to the incident.

The scene of the attack was sealed off and is being examined for clues by the Garda National Technical Bureau.

A source said: “Gilligan’s young associates have attacked friends of Joseph McEvoy in the past over a feud.

“McEvoy’s friends have been involved in a feud with another gang and this is all about drugs.

TRIBUTES

“McEvoy wasn’t involved in this feud but has ended up losing his life.”

Tributes were also paid to the murder victim from his local football team, Quarryvale FC.

They said: “We are devastated to hear of the loss of our club captain Joey.

“The nicest man you’d ever meet and an absolute warrior on the pitch.

‘LIFE OF EVERY PARTY’

“Big Joe Mac was the life of every party and nothing will feel the same with him gone.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this horrible time. Rest in peace joe.”

A local resident also told of their shock at the killing, adding: “It’s hard to believe that someone has lost their life in such a violent manner.

“Joe was well known in this area and didn’t deserve to die like this.”

ONGOING FEUD

The feud – largely based in the Clondalkin and Ronanstown areas of the capital – has been ongoing for the last two years.

During that time, Gardai have investigated pipe bombings, serious assaults and shots fired at homes.

Gardai are also appealing to anyone with camera footage and dashcam footage in the area between 5am and 6am to come forward.

A WIMBLEDON worker had to return their lunch after finding a nail in their food.

Not a human fingernail… but a metal bolt.

The incident happened at the All England Club after the employee had ordered a salad poke bowl.

However, as she tucked into the chicken, she was surprised to find the screw in her container.

SunSport witnessed the individual take the food and unexpected extra item back to the servers, who were left shellshocked by the rogue addition.

It is unclear how the piece of metal ended up in the £13 meal.

But staff quickly checked the metal refrigerated storage areas to see if there was a nail or screw missing.

And to make matters worse, after being offered a replacement dish, the employee had to go hungry because she did not have time to get a new one made up.

SunSport has contacted Wimbledon for comment.

The potentially-dangerous nail scare on Monday lunchtime came less than 24 hours after the electronic line calling system – which automatically announces if a shot is out insetad of human line judges – failed on Centre Court.

Controversy erupted when Brit Sonay Kartal’s backhand on a crucial point against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova clearly bounced long but there was no shout of “out”.

After a lengthy delay, the point was replayed – instead of Pavlyuchenkova being awarded the game – and Kartal broke, before the Russian battled back to win 7-6 6-4.

At the change of ends immediately after the shocking blunder, Pavlyuchenkova accused Wimbledon of “stealing the game away from me” and showing favouritism to the Brit at her home Grand Slam.

A Wimbledon statement released six hours later apologised and confirmed the AI malfunctioned due to human error after someone turned the system off at one end of the court.

A spokesperson said: “It is now clear that the live ELC system, which was working optimally, was deactivated in error on part of the server’s side of the court for one game by those operating the system.

“In that time there were three calls not picked up by live ELC on the affected part of the court.

“Two of these were called by the Chair Umpire, who was not made aware that the system had been deactivated.

“Following the third, the Chair Umpire stopped the match and consulted with the Review Official.

“It was determined that the point should be replayed. The Chair Umpire followed the established process.

“We have apologised to the players involved.

“We continue to have full confidence in the accuracy of the ball tracking technology.

“The live ELC system relies on the Hawk-Eye operators, the Review Official and the technology to work in harmony. This did not happen.

“In this instance there was a human error and as a consequence we have fully reviewed our processes and made the appropriate changes.”
