‘Difficult’ Christian Horner had heated row with Verstappen’s dad at Silverstone before sacking, claims Ralf Schumacher

CHRISTIAN HORNER was involved in a “heated exchange” with Jos Verstappen at the British Grand Prix before he was sacked, according to sensational claims.

Horner, 51, has been sacked as team principal of Red Bull Racing’s Formula One team after 20 years in the role.

The claim comes from Ralf Schumacher[/caption]

But since the start of last season, cracks had been starting to appear in the team’s foundations as a behind the scenes power struggle erupted.

Horner and Jos Verstappen – former F1 racer and father of star driver Max Verstappen – have butted heads multiple times.

Last season, at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix, the pair were seen arguing in the paddock despite the team going on to take victory.

There has been little indication of them kissing and making up, with 53-year-old Verstappen Sr saying he was “completely finished” with Horner in August.

And the tension apparently spilt over into another heated exchange in Silverstone last weekend.

Ralf Schumacher has claimed he was witness to a Horner and Verstappen “argument” during the weekend with the team’s press officer also involved.

Speaking to the Boxengasse-podcast, he said: “There was another argument or a heated exchange, at least visually and verbally between Jos Verstappen, Christian Horner, and the press officer.

“You could see that Jos was anything but happy with the situation.”

SunSport has attempted to contact Red Bull and Christian Horner for comment.

The 50-year-old added: “But I understand it too. For me, Christian Horner is also a bit of a difficult person.

“I have to say that. He just failed to keep the team together well, which is not always easy, of course.

“But I also think his behaviour now, I can only refer to myself, but he can’t really deal with criticism.”

Schumacher also said Horner refuses to speak to the German branch of Sky Sports.

He said: “We are, or I am, now, on a so-called black list, so he no longer talks to us or with me and such.

“It’s actually a joke, because a man who has won so much should actually be able to discuss it in front of the camera,”

The decision to sack Horner comes a year and a half after the ‘sexting scandal’ that engulfed him over texts he apparently sent to a female employee.

Despite keeping his job in the aftermath of the chaos, Red Bull have slumped down both the Drivers and Constructors standings, with Verstappen reportedly eyeing a move to huge rivals Mercedes.

The Dutch driver, 27, struck gold with pole position on Saturday before he suffered a disastrous spin during a safety car restart in Sunday’s chaotic race.

Lando Norris took the chequered flag of his home race for the first time ahead of disgruntled McLaren team-mate Oscar Piastri, who had fumed about a ten-second time penalty he received after he stopped under the safety car.

But the achievement was overshadowed by Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg scoring his first ever F1 podium after 239 races – and his team’s first since 2012.

Laurent Mekies has been appointed as the new CEO of Red Bull Racing, stepping up from the Racing Bulls team, following Horner’s departure.

The next F1 race will commence on July 27 with the Belgian Grand Prix.

Verstappen sits third in the drivers’ championship, scoring 165 of Red Bull’s total tally of 172, which sees them currently in fourth place in the Constructors’ Championship.

“We can’t wait to share another gripping case, with Alison’s talents and perspective delivering a thriller that’s pulse-pounding, distinctive, and like nothing else on TV.”

When the show launched in May, fans were quick to praise Rose’s chemistry with her co-star, Kieron Moore.

In the series, Rose plays a deaf canteen worker who is recruited by Canterbury police to help them lip read in a case.

Soon she finds herself embroiled in the world of policing as the detectives race against time to stop a gang of criminals and their latest heist.

Her lip-reading skills become essential to the team, who have her looking through CCTV in order to interpret what the gang are saying in order to gain the upper hand.

But as she takes to the investigation, she finds herself drawn to Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore), one of the members of the gang with motivations of his own.

Inside the ‘orgasmic retreat’ where Brits pay £1k to climax with NO touching – it was intense I couldn’t feel my face

IBIZA: The name probably conjures images of wild nights, stunning beaches, and perhaps a little champagne spraying.

But beyond the party scene, this Balearic island is also a destination for a different kind of high – so forget the DJ sets for one second.

Instead, it’s an orgasm retreat in which Brits are flocking to and paying over £1,000 to learn how to climax without being touched.

Blending hypnotherapy, sound baths, and a whole lot of sexual empowerment, the Orgasmic Hypnosis retreat is all about tapping into your body’s incredible potential.

Tucked away on the small, rocky island of Es Vedrà, the retreat hotel is a “mind-blowing” space in the “third most magnetic spot on earth” and offers luxurious amenities to make your stay “unforgettable.”

Women, including entrepreneurs and CEOs, ranging from their twenties to their sixties, pay thousands for this two-day “sex weekend” where they can experience “multiple orgasms.”

“It’s the most amazing, unique and out of this world experience I had ever tried,” says Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, who visited the retreat to learn more about how she can “prioritise her sexual pleasure.”

She added: “My sex weekend in Ibiza was very intense and quite an experience. But it left me feeling rejuvenated and renewed.”

The retreat is designed for women seeking help when it comes to mastering their orgasms, while dedicating the weekend to themselves.

Dr. Tara admits that her latest experience at the Orgasmic Hypnosis retreat, where she witnessed a group of women having “multiple orgasms” in front of her eyes, left her utterly awestruck.

“I was like, ‘Oh my God. I’ve never seen anything like it,'” she explains.

Introduced to her by two close friends who had already attended the retreat, claiming it would “change your view on sex forever,” this unique practice can cost £1,471 for eight hours.

Other packages include a 16 hour session for $3,500 (£2,575), or 24 hours with possibility of certification for $5,500 (£4,047).

And it’s not just Ibiza that the Orgasmic Hypnosis retreat is located in.

People can also attend it in Berlin, London and Paris depending on dates.

While the average female orgasm typically lasts 13 to 51 seconds (10 to 30 seconds for a male), previous reports have found that these orgasms can last up to eight hours, and you don’t need a helping hand from your partner; it’s just you in control.

Dr. Tara, who is also a sexpert on Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating, can back this up, having seen people go on a journey of self-discovery and unadulterated bliss.

“I would see the women just like convulsing and coming like having orgasms without being touched,” she explains.

“And it’s crazy because there is no touch at all, and no physical penetration.”

You can think yourself into or follow a visualisation or hypnosis into the feeling build-up of the orgasm

Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn

The retreat was attended by 18 people from diverse backgrounds, predominantly women, with a few men and one couple.

The two-day experience centred around Orgasmic Hypnosis, a practice described as being for beginners, with more advanced levels existing.

The first day was heavily theoretical, starting with the crucial concept of consent, which is vital “when dealing with the subconscious or unconscious” and when individuals are in a trance.

Dr. Tara explained that the teacher emphasised how to give consent, what might arise, and the potential for both significant pleasure and, less commonly, unpleasant experiences.

The process begins with a “pre-talk” to build rapport, discussing desires, boundaries, and even “dirty talk” preferences, as much of the trance work involves verbal cues.

Safe words and hard boundaries are also established. This leads into “induction,” which is designed to enhance suggestibility.

Dr. Tara also went onto to learn about Shibari, which is Japanese bondage[/caption]

Dr. Tara’s view from the orgasm retreat in Ibiza

Dr. Tara admitted: “I did not think I was suggestible because I feel like I’m always sort of against things like people telling me something. I’m like no.”

Yet, through various suggestibility tests, including intense eye contact and specific commands, she found herself surprisingly compliant.

“It was so weird how you feel vulnerable and suggestible that like when they say your eyes are so heavy, you can’t open it. You actually can’t open it.”

She even witnessed someone forget their own name under hypnosis.

Ownership in dirty talk

Following induction, the “trance work” begins, guiding individuals into their fantasies to build orgasms.

“Technically orgasm is a work of the brain,” Dr. Tara explains, emphasising that one can “think yourself into or follow a visualisation or hypnosis into the feeling build-up of the orgasm.”

Drawing from the pre-talk, the hypnotist weaves a sexual scenario tailored to the individual’s desires.

For Dr. Tara, it was the concept of “ownership” in dirty talk.

“Basically he was able to build this whole world of the sexual scenario of what I am fine what of what I usually find very attractive and desirable and sexy,” she explains.

“Over 25 minutes, the hypnotist whispered the scene, and would say ‘next time I say pleasure, you’re gonna feel it in your body,’ he would say, prompting sensations that travelled from my stomach to my pelvic area.

I actually saw a woman in her sixties volunteer for the demonstration, and she ended up having a really deep growling orgasm

Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn

“I ended up having a full-body orgasm. My face was numb, I had this tingling sensation, and even my nipples were hard.

“It was a whole body experience for me. I think that’s why my face was a little tingly and it felt numb.”

While she experienced one orgasm, Dr. Tara admitted to seeing other women have multiple orgasms and some even “coming like crazy.”

The second day involved group work, with participants lying on the floor, some convulsing and screaming, others crying tears of release. “It was a completely new experience for me,” she explains.

“I have studied the sex industry for a very long time, but I realised how my education is so Western.

“When I come to experience something like this, I realise the art of sex and the sexual energy is so vast.

“There were many women there who were entrepreneurs, or CEOs that hadn’t prioritised their pleasure or how to climax.

“And I found it empowering to watch these people learn about their own pleasure and actually tune into their bodies.

“I actually saw a woman in her sixties volunteer for the demonstration, and she ended up having a really deep growling orgasm.”

The most remarkable aspect? “It’s just all done from not touching, just all what these were.”

While hand-holding was sometimes involved, there was “no sexual touching. No nipples or pelvic area or anything like that.”

After attending the retreat, Dr. Tara feels that she is ready to take things up a notch and go to a “more advanced level” after even learning that she had a gift of her own.

“I was able to also demonstrate on someone else and get them to climax,” she explains.

I think couples can be comfortable exploring different things, like attending these retreats or sex parties

Dr. Tara Suwinyattichaiporn

For a healthy sex life, whether single or in a couple, Dr. Tara advises exploring both within and outside the norm – including attending one of these retreats, with or without your partner.

“Any doctor will tell you that having an orgasm is so good for you,” she explains.

“It’s like a natural endorphins and it releases happy hormones. It’s like depression medication.”

Outside the norm, she encourages finding and attending retreats like the one she experienced.

She says: “It’s about prioritising yourself and your pleasure because pleasure is not hard, pleasure is free.

“And if you do sexual medication, you can have pleasure. So pleasure is there. It’s within your body and your mind and you just have to be able to access it.”

Consensual sex parties

Other explorations include sexual meditation at home or, for couples, consensual sex parties.

Dr. Tara, who is currently in a non-monogamous relationship, continues: “I think couples can be comfortable exploring different things, like attending these retreats or sex parties.

“There is a trend because obviously there are dating apps that are like that…Obviously if there’s supply, there’s demand.”

She believes that for those naturally inclined to be attracted to multiple people, living “out loud” is better than being secretive from their partner and infidelity.

Her own partner, whom she met on a plane, was initially new to non-monogamy, but they discussed it openly from the start.

“For me it only expands my horizon and my ability to experience different types of sexual pleasure with a partner.”

She continues: “I think a lot of people fight against embracing their sexual desires but these are the people that I highly recommend the orgasmic hypnosis too.

“It is not about hypnosis or even about orgasm, it is about prioritising yourself and your pleasure. It’s just understanding your pleasure and that is important.”

And for her, the results were undeniable: “I had a few orgasms, which is nice.”

What your sexual fantasies say about you

By Emma Kenny, a TV presenter and psychologist

Raucous Role Play: If your partner enjoys dressing up for fun, it shows creativity and a desire to keep things exciting. However, it might signal that he struggles with responsibility.

Multi-Partner Fantasies: Craving variety doesn’t always mean he wants to cheat. However, it could indicate deeper feelings of unfulfillment.

Power & Control: A little dominance is normal, but if it’s always about control, it may hide insecurities.

Adventure: Men seeking thrills may push boundaries, so be sure your comfort zone is respected.

Passion: If he’s romantic, he’s emotionally tuned in—though occasionally avoiding tough conversations.

Flexibility: Openness to new experiences is great, but constant novelty-seeking could mean avoiding emotional connection.

Red Flag: If control is his ultimate fantasy, it may signal a deeper struggle with power dynamics.

Champions League star forced to wear shirt with HANDWRITTEN number after awkward blunder

A FOOTBALLER was forced to wear a jersey with his number scribbled on it in PEN during a Champions League clash.

The bizarre scenes happened in a qualifier between The New Saints and Shkendija after Rory Holden was left covered in blood.

Midfielder Holden’s original kit was soaked in claret during Tuesday night’s first-leg tie at Park Hall.

The incident prompted referee Rob Hennessy to order him off the pitch just before half-time.

But in a moment of pure Sunday League chaos, TNS didn’t have a proper backup kit with his name or number on it.

So a staff member grabbed a ballpoint pen and scrawled “18” on the back of a white-and-green shirt to get him back on the pitch.

Holden, who starred in last season’s historic Europa Conference League run for TNS returned to action wearing the makeshift top.

TV cameras caught the bizarre moment the number was inked on the sidelines.

Thankfully the hand written number on the back of the shirt wasn’t needed for long.

The whistle blew for half-time moments later and he reappeared for the second half in a standard printed jersey.

Holden was subbed off in the 80th minute with the match ending in a goalless draw.

TNS made history last season as the first Welsh club to reach the group stage of a European competition.

But this time, they made headlines for a very different reason.

The return leg kicks off in Skopje next Tuesday (July 15), with a tie against either FCSB of Romania or Andorra’s Inter Club d’Escaldes awaiting the winners.

Iconic British car brand to begin ‘new era’ with ‘urban SUV’ to be launched next year – and includes bold new logo

BENTLEY has given fans a first look at its new era with the unveiling of a stylish concept car that’s said to preview the future direction of the brand’s design and technology.

The British car brand, headquartered in Crewe, Cheshire, but under the Volkswagen Group umbrella, has shown off the EXP 15 which blends elements of a saloon, SUV and grand tourer.

The car is the heiht of luxury includes a champagne cooler, picnic seats and a bespoke dog carrier[/caption]

Headlined as their first electric vehicle, the motor is an urban SUV that’s set to launch next year – and also includes their bold, new logo.

According to Autocar, the EXP 12 is seen as a potential successor to the Mulsanne flagship, which was retired in 2020, and will sit beneath the Bentayga in their line-up.

Bentley‘s design director, Robin Page, has said he aims to modernise the company’s design language – all the while staying true to its heritage.

“It’s still in that linear line of Bentleys, but it’s a fresh start – a new design language,” said Page.

“The point is to make a bit of a bang: next chapter.

“It’s also given us a chance to try a new, modern design language – more monolithic, stronger and cleaner in its surfaces and not too over-complicated.”

Bentley aims to address changing customer preferences, which has included a growing demand for elevated seating positions and SUV-like designs.

The EXP 15 achieves this with a high-riding saloon that offers a fresh alternative to traditional luxury saloons, showcasing Bentley’s five overarching design themes.

These five themes draw inspiration from one of Bentley’s earliest and most iconic GT cars: the 1928 Speed Six.

The first theme, upright elegance, is evident in the bold and imposing front end, a departure from the low-slung, aerodynamic fronts typically seen on modern electric vehicles.

At the rear, the prestigious shield introduces a striking light signature inspired by Bentley’s iconic ‘B’ emblem and pays homage to the luggage carriers of vintage Bentleys, seamlessly blending tradition with modern innovation.

The car’s overall proportions evoke the resting beast, likened to a tiger poised with latent power in its muscular shoulders and rear arches, conveying strength and readiness.

Lastly, the grille as art reimagines Bentley’s signature front grille as a decorative centrepiece, adorned with intricate diamond motifs and crystal-like LED lighting that exudes elegance and innovation.

Together, these themes represent a bold evolution in Bentley’s design philosophy, honouring its heritage while paving the way for a progressive and modern identity.

LUXURY TOUCHES

Sporting a three-seat layout, with the nearside passenger seat sliding and rotating for elegance, the EXP 15 features the very best in luxury that you’d come to expect from Bentley.

Our customers are basically telling us that 300-350 miles is that sweet spot. Beyond that, they’ll use the private jet

Robin Page, Bentley's design director

This includes a champagne cooler, picnic seats and a bespoke dog carrier.

The car even features a central roof section that opens out to allow passengers to stand before exiting, creating an “art of arriving” experience, while the dashboard moves away from full digitalisation, with analogue controls and a rotating physical dial for key functions.

In terms of functionality, Bentley isn’t seeking to build the best EV in terms of mechanics – with a range set between 300-350 miles.

Page added: “We’re finding that there’s a sweet spot in terms of range.

“Our customers are basically telling us that 300-350 miles is that sweet spot. Beyond that, they’ll use the private jet.”

While the EXP 15 is primarily a design showcase, its viable package and platform mean it could go into production.

Bentley is set to monitor market reactions to determine whether a high-riding saloon could succeed alongside its Flying Spur and other models.

NEW LOOK

Earlier this month, Bentley also unveiled a simplified version of its familiar “Winged B” logo, marking only the fourth time they’ve rebranded their look since they were founded,

Much like the look of their concept car, the new logo is said to headline a “new era of Bentley design language”.

The company’s original logo was designed in 1919 and has only been updated three times since – in 1931, during the 1990s and in 2002.

The latest iteration has been dubbed “the biggest change to the instantly recognisable mark in more than a century of history“.

The core elements of the winged B emblem remain the same, but eagle-eyed fans will spot the wings have been simplified and stylised with a diamond pattern.

Furthermore, the feathers below the central B have been removed entirely for the first time.

According to the design team, the sharper shape is “reminiscent of the angled wings of a Peregrine Falcon”.

Two-time defending champion Alcaraz required nearly four-and-a-half hours to defeat Fognini on day one of Wimbledon.

Having gone back to Italy and considered his future, Fognini decided to call it a day.

After returning to Wimbledon, Fognini confirmed in a press conference that his clash with Alcaraz was his final match.

After the first round epic, the Spaniard said of his wily opponent: “I told him that I have big respect for him. He’s the best.

“I have big respect for him. Everything that he has done in his career, what he has done today.

“I love watching him play. I’m just glad to have shared the court once again with him, that I have shared the locker rooms, the tournament with him.

“Just amazing. I have big respect for him.”

Following his battle with Alcaraz, Fognini said: “It was really emotional. I have to be honest, I cried in the locker room. I cried.

BEST ONLINE CASINOS – TOP SITES IN THE UK

“Because, as I say, I didn’t expect play five set against him. I have to be honest.

“The way I was coming here, I had no expectation because since I started this year, after the injury, I was playing really badly. I didn’t win so many matches.

“So I say, okay. I was seven out at the beginning here in Wimbledon. I get in few last.

“I say before, there is no better way to play in this court with a great champion that I have a lot of respect for.”

Fognini peaked at No9 in the world rankings in 2019, while has earned around £14million in career prize money.

The wily veteran’s biggest tournament win in singles came in Monte Carlo six years ago, while he also triumphed in the Australian Open men’s doubles in 2015.

A QUICK-witted TD delivered a sharp quip after all power went out in the Dail during a debate on the cost of living and rising supermarket prices, saying: “Have you paid the electricity bill Minister?”

Electricity cut off in the buildings around Kildare Street on several occasions with politicians’ offices left without power for the morning.

The first power outage hit Leinster House during a debate on rising food prices and the cost of living.

The Social Democrats had brought forward a bill demanding that supermarkets be forced to disclose their profits in Ireland amid rising prices.

The party wants the five major supermarkets in Ireland to be more transparent about how much they make in Ireland with the grocery sector here worth €15 billion a year.

SocDems TD Jennifer Whitmore was raising the impact of skyrocketing food prices on household bills in the Dail when the power cut.

The sharp Wicklow TD didn’t miss a beat when the electricity went out during her speech as she quipped: “Have you paid the electricity bill Minister?”

After finishing the point she was making the TD asked the chamber if she should continue.

And even with the shut off in the Dail chambe,r business continued with Galway TD Catherine Connolly who was chairing the debate laughing: “The sound is more important than the vision on this occasion.”

The Dail Chamber itself had a back up power to enable business to continue however, all Committee meetings were suspended after the rooms in the nearby LH2000 building were cast into darkness by the outage.

Four Oireachtas committees were sitting at the time with witnesses giving evidence on a range of subjects from drone use to social welfare changes in the upcoming budget.

The Committee on Disability Matters was hearing from the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission when they lost power and the room fell into darkness.

Confused politicians and staff in the room at the time questioned: “Will I go out and have a look and see if I can flick a switch?”

The power in Leinster House continued to flick on and off throughout the morning as staff worked to address the issue which was being put down to an ESB network problem.

CONNOLLY STATION POWER CUT

It is understood the power outage impacted the wider Dublin 2 area with electricity lost for over an hour in parts.

Power is being restored across the area sporadically this afternoon.

Connolly Station in Dublin was also hit by a power cut this morning, leaving lights and announcements unavailable.

Irish Rail warned customers: “Passengers are advised there is currently an ESB power outage at Connolly Station. No impact to the running of services.

“However station lights, announcements/monitors and ticket vending machines are out of service until further notice.”

The power to the station was restored just after 7am.
