DRAKE left thousands of fans fuming last night after his Wireless set ended after just 40 minutes.
The 38-year-old rap superstar arrived ten minutes early for his Sunday night set in London’s Finsbury Park, telling the crowd he’d go “until they cut my mic” – referencing the festival’s strict 9:30pm curfew.

GettyGutted Wireless fans spoke of chaos at the end of Sunday when his set was cut short[/caption]
Earlier in the day, fans were led to believe they’d be getting two Drake sets – one at 18:25 and one at 20:55.
But the first mysteriously vanished from the schedule mid afternoon.
Drake then appeared early and immediately after Burna Boy, which caught the crowds off-guard.
Fans were left even more confused when his set finished after 40 minutes due to the curfew.
To make matters worse, the BBC reports scenes of panic unfolded near the accessible exit when the show ended early.
Several disabled fans were reportedly trapped behind barriers, pleading with security to let them out.
The Sun has contacted Wireless festival for comment.
Writing on Instagram after the show, Drake said he didn’t know what had happened: “Thank you London.
“Need some time to process what just happened so I don’t have my usual caption…just thank you so much for the best 3 nights of my performance career.”
Drake was booked to headline all three nights at the festival.
The rapper had already run into curfew chaos on Friday, when organisers cut off both his and Lauryn Hill’s microphones at 10:30pm — replacing the screens with local train station info.
He managed to stick to the schedule better on Saturday.
Earlier in the day on Sunday, Kartel and Burna Boy still performed in their time slots, but when Drake suddenly appeared his cheerful energy from Friday and Saturday appeared to be gone.
The Canadian megastar looked tense and rushed, according to the BBC.
He kicked things off with an unreleased track featuring UK rapper Central Cee, who didn’t take to the stage.
Instead, he was spotted silently mouthing the lyrics from the front row, with cameras beaming it onto the big screen.
Trying to win back the crowd, Drake rattled through hits like Controlla, Find Your Love, and One Dance — all updated for 2025, but the new remixes made them hard to sing along to and left many fans confused.
A brief boost came when Nigerian sensation Rema jumped on stage to perform Calm Down and Fever, hyping up the crowd.
But just as things were heating up, Vybz Kartel popped back in for a quick cameo and then Drake played just two more songs before wrapping it all up.
Drake climbed onto a crane to wave goodbye, while Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You blasted from the speakers.
Devastated fans realised it was his exit music, after seeing it online from the previous night.

They battered the Breffni 3-20 to 1-17, knocked the defending champions out by 0-32 to 1-21 — avenging last year’s semi-final defeat in the process — and walloped the Red Hands 1-20 to 0-17 on Saturday to book their place in the July 27 showpiece.
David Clifford caught fire in the Croke Park heat with 1-9, while Joe O’Connor lorded affairs in the middle.
White put in a trademark captain’s display, sparking Kingdom attacks as his side fired 0-9 without reply in the second half to send sorry Tyrone packing.
Their skipper knows the Meath performance was not a true reflection of their talents and the wing-back gave an insight into the dressing-room mood after the loss.
White said: “After the Meath game we were all very disappointed in our performance. We knew that wasn’t us.
“We got a bit of slack for it but we tried to keep all that out of the camp. We knew the quality that we have in training and we believed in what we were capable of.
“So we just battened down the hatches going into the Cavan game, went back to basics and built from there.
“Obviously the Armagh game was huge considering what happened last year, so we wanted to rectify that and thankfully we were able to bring that into Saturday as well.
“I’m over the moon that we’re able to play as well as we are at the business end of the year and we look forward to an All-Ireland final in two weeks’ time.”
The Kingdom blew Kieran McGeeney’s men away with five two-pointers as another rampant second-half spell of 0-14 in 15 minutes killed the game.
Against Tyrone at the weekend, they mixed kicking and running the ball, with David Clifford’s first-half double score their only orange flag of the game.
The Kingdom instead hunted for goals and their star man rattled the onion bag just shy of the half-hour mark to put the Munster kingpins 1-7 to 0-8 in front.
But they could have had so many more majors as Joe O’Connor, Paudie Clifford, Dylan Geaney and Killian Spillane all spurned chances. Boss O’Connor cursed the misses but was delighted with his side’s ability to solve the puzzles that came their way.
MATURITY AND EXPERIENCE PREVAILS
The Kingdom chief said: “I know we wasted chances — two or three at the back post that looked like tap-ins, it’s disappointing, because we prided ourselves throughout the league on scoring goals.
“At least we created the chances — and the last day we were creating two-pointer chances. I think it’s a sign of the team that they recognised what’s in front of them.
“There was a bit more space inside this time and they put the ball in and created those chances. Of course we’d have had an easier afternoon if we’d converted a few of them.
“This is a mature team. Most of the boys are a good age. They are in their mid-to-late 20s — 27, 28, that is a good age group. They’re mature lads and that was a mature performance.
“We slowed it down when we had to and we sped it up when we had to. I thought we kicked the ball through the lines well and found David in one-on-one situations, and that is always good for us.”
And it proved fatal for Tyrone, who went 21 minutes without a score in the second half.
Darragh Canavan gave his all for the cause, firing 0-7, but Kerry grew with every kick as their unanswered nine-point flurry ended the match as a contest.
HUGE WINS AND A BRIGHT FUTURE
The Red Hands can still take the positives from reaching their first semi-final since going all the way in 2021 in Malachy O’Rourke’s first year as manager.
They defeated Donegal in Ballybofey in the group stages and knocked Dublin out in a gruelling All-Ireland quarter-final. Minor and Under-20 All-Irelands this summer mean the future is bright.
And O’Rourke called on veterans Mattie Donnelly, 34, Niall Morgan, 33, Pádraig Hampsey, 31, Kieran McGeary, 31, and Peter Harte, 34, to stick around and help the youngsters transition into the senior set-up.
Under-20 star Eoin McElholm getting the nod to start against the Kingdom.
LEADING BY EXAMPLE
The Red Hand boss insisted: “There’ll be no talk of retirement, I would love if they were there to help guide it because there is a big vacuum there, if you like, between Under-20s and senior.
“You’d love it if they would. Those lads are brilliant ambassadors for Tyrone and the effort and work they put in, the example they show to the rest of the boys is second to none.
“It’s a big gap and it just doesn’t happen overnight. It’s not just a case of people stepping up, there’s a lot of work to be done and a big transition to be made.
“So the more experienced fellas that are about to guide them, the better. I take a lot of positives out of it.
“We’ve had four Championship victories, we went to Ballybofey and won, we went to Croke Park and beat Dublin as well. The boys have put in a lot of effort and we have improved.
“To get into the last four, you’re going to be playing one of the top teams and Kerry are one of the top teams. Any weaknesses you have would be exposed more than in other games.
“There has been a lot of positives but at the same time a game like that shows the level you have to be getting at to challenge for top honours.”

DUB Des Cahill will still have a strong rooting interest in this year’s All-Ireland football final due to his wife Caroline being from Donegal.
And if there was any doubt as to whether he’d fully embrace hopping on the bandwagon, the below photo from Sunday’s shellacking of Meath dispels that altogether.
@sportsdesLook-alike son Paul is also firmly behind Jim McGuinness’ men[/caption]
They demolished Meath by 3-26 to 0-15 on Sunday
The former Sunday Game host captioned it: “Still trying to get the Mammy home..!!
“Donegal were excellent, but fair play to Meath – they’ve given their supporters a summer to remember!”
Twelve months since Jim McGuinness admitted that his side ‘ran out of steam’ in their bid to reach the All-Ireland SFC final, Donegal delivered the goods as they charged towards a first showpiece since 2014 like a freight train.
In the wake of their defeat to Galway at the same stage last summer, McGuinness lamented their failure to convert nine of 14 scoring opportunities in the second half.
But having seen his team hit 3-13 after the change of ends at a packed Croke Park, there were no such complaints this time after they ruthlessly disposed of Meath’s attempt to take another major scalp.
The Royals have already tasted unlikely Championship victories over Dublin, Kerry and Galway this summer. Hopes of a first All-Ireland final appearance in 24 years were therefore high.
But Robbie Brennan’s superb first season at the helm was brought to an end in chastening fashion. Even at half-time, things looked ominous for Meath as they trailed by 0-13 to 0-8.
With a Sam Maguire decider against Kerry to come in a fortnight, Donegal could even afford to withdraw 35-year-old talisman Michael Murphy with 25 minutes still to play.
Murphy made way just moments after kicking his side into an eight-point lead. By then, the Ulster champions had also bagged the first of three second-half goals.
Donegal can now look forward to a first All-Ireland final appearance since the defeat to the Kingdom 11 years ago. McGuinness’ side played five games in 99 days to reach that stage then.
It has taken them twice as many outings in the same number of days to do it again.
Every facet of Donegal’s output was impressive here. Singling out just one of their awesome attackers would do a disservice to the others.
At the back, high standards were set by the colossal contributions of Brendan McCole and Finnbarr Roarty.
On a day when Paddy McBrearty came off the bench and kicked 0-3, McGuinness noted that the strength of his panel has been a key factor in taking Donegal a step further than in 2024.
McGUINNESS VIEW
He said: “We didn’t know at that stage the rule changes that were coming down the line and the physical demands of the rule changes, but certainly we knew that we needed people to come in and give us more depth and strengthen.
“We knew we had to be stronger and it would build its own energy within the group because it’d be more competitive and people want to play naturally, so I think we did see that today.
“We were able to make those changes the whole way through the game and going in to play Kerry in an All-Ireland final, you’re going to need every man that you’ve got.
“That’s a huge challenge and they’re so confident about what they do.
“There’s a rite of passage there almost in terms of winning All-Irelands, so that’s the first thing we’re going to have to meet head on.
“But certainly it’ll not be 15 players, it’ll be every single player that can get onto the pitch that’ll be needed.”

Fans were heartbroken as Roxy drowned alongside older sister Ronnie.
However, some viewers have only just realised Rita’s very famous real-life relative.
Lord Alan Sugar, 78, who many know as the star of The Apprentice, is her uncle by marriage.
Rita shared a TikTok video of the pair together, jokingly discussing how she could possibly return to EastEnders.
Speaking in the clip, Lord Sugar said: “Now look Rita, there’s no way you’re ever gonna convince the BBC to bring you back into EastEnders.”
Rita interjected, asking: “Do you think I should be back at EastEnders?”
Lord Sugar continued, adding: “Definitely. But, you’re dead.
“As far as the story [is concerned], you’re dead. So you’ve got to come back as a cousin of who you were.”
The actress then asked her uncle what her EastEnders character’s name was – but the businessman said he didn’t remember.
After recalling her name had been Roxy, he decided the new cousin would be called “Poxy”.
He concluded: “Whatever, don’t care what you come back as.
“But the point is, you’ve got to come back as a relative.
“That’s it, definitely.”

THIS is the adorable moment Princess Kate asked Wimbledon champ Jannik Sinner to sign a tennis ball for Prince Louis after his win on Sunday.
Seven-year-old Louis was notably absent from the Men’s Final on Sunday.

WimbledonThe tennis champion signed three balls, including one for the absent Prince Louis[/caption]
Kate, 43, her eldest son George, 11, and daughter Charlotte, 10, were in attendance, along with Prince William, 43.
But the Princess of Wales did not want young Louis to be “upset” after he missed out on the game.
Sinner scored a triumphant win over the two-time consecutive Wimbledon winner, Carlos Alcaraz, yesterday.
Following the game, Kate could be seen kindly asking Sinner to sign a ball for her youngest son so “he doesn’t get upset”.
George and Charlotte, who are both avid tennis fans, were also there to meet the new Wimbledon champion and shook hands him.
All of the royal children are said to enjoy tennis, including Prince Louis, and have inherited the porty prowess of their mother.
Sinner, 23, told them it was “very nice to meet you”, before signing three tennis balls for the kids.
As a loving gesture, the mother-of-three said: “We’re taking one for their brother.”
William chimed: “Louis will be upset otherwise.”
George gave a polite thank you to Sinner, before his mother said “huge congratulations” and shook his hand.
The Princess of Wales had also handed the tennis number one his trophy right after the four-set match concluded on court.
Italy’s Sinner was awarded the silver-gilt trophy for his 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 win against the 22-year-old Spaniard.
Kate was wearing a sleek royal blue dress, with a necklace that had a 9ct gold pendant and gemstones from Daniella Draper.
She still kept Louis close with this £3000 pendant, as the gemstones are the birthstone for April, the month the young Prince was born.
Louis was also gifted some “priceless” trainers from another Wimbledon legend a few years ago.
American tennis legend, Stan Smith, gave the Duchess of Cambridge a signed trainer during the Wimbledon tennis championships in 2019.
The Adidas trainer was signed “To Louis”, along with his signature.
The Princess has also been the patron of the All England Lawn and Tennis Club (AELTC) since 2016.
Attached to her dress, she wore her green and purple “Wimbledon” bow, paying homage to the tournament and it’s iconic colours.
It is also a symbol of royal patronage, that was gifted to her from Queen Elizabeth II.
Kate was also captured in a moving moment while speaking to a “brave” 11-year-old cancer patient on Sunday.
The Princess of Wales’ parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, were also seen at Wimbledon on Monday, with the Duchess of Edinburgh and the Duchess of Gloucester also in attendance.

“Jackpot” had previously stepped away from the oche due to the stress of the game and to care for his ill wife Sarah.
He told the Tops and Tales podcast: “Sarah’s got an incurable kidney disease, so we obviously spent a lot of time in hospital.
“My daughter, she’s got autism and ADHD, so she’s got them both combined. So, she’s on disability.
“So, and all that like, like I said, she’s at our level, our level needs. But yeah, she’s still a diamond like, you know.”
The 40-year-old is currently unable to compete in PDC events after his Tour Card expired at the end of 2024.
Four-times major winner Lewis insists there’s no chance of a half-hearted return to the big stage as he weighs up his next move carefully.

“I want to make sure I’m 100 per cent ready, mentally right and just go at it all guns blazing.
“I feel, I mean, I haven’t really said anything to anybody else really. I feel as if like it’s a crossroads. Do you know what I mean?”

In an uncanny turn of events on July 14, Bangkok’s bustling cityscape was stunned into silence by the antics of a rather unconventional resident. A naked American, identified as Jack, found himself in, quite literally, a tight spot—lodged within the muddy confines of a Bangkok sewer near a condominium on Kanlapaphruek Road, Chom Thong district. The day started unassuming for the condo manager until the sight uncurled of an unclad foreign man making an unexpected dive into the depths of the drainage system. The ensuing chaos was enough to prompt a swift call to the Bang Khun Thian Police Station, setting off a rescue mission that would quickly become the talk of the town. Jack, a 28-year-old with seemingly more survival instincts than attire, was found coated in mud and ensnared by a pipe that stubbornly refused to let go. If you thought the situation couldn’t get any more peculiar,…
