Abandoned UK car graveyard where fleet of 90s icons left to rot – including classic Cadillac & discontinued favourite

A HAUNTING graveyard of rotting vintage vehicles has been captured in the British countryside.

Images show rusting motors lined up, including a nostalgic 90s Cadillac, in various states of disrepair.

Volvos and even a Cadillac were sighted in the eerie scrapyard[/caption]

The scrapyard, which inhabits a crumbling UK farm, also includes dusty Micras and Volvos.

The latter takes up most of the space, where a lineup of once eye-catching 240s and 244s eerily sit.

Some of them don badges and stickers from their last days on the road.

One Volvo in particular is likely a more recent addition as it sports a fresh-looking exhaust warning sticker.

But others have seen better days.

Some have been stacked, used to prop up even more scrap, their roofs caved in under the weight of other forgotten vehicles.

And viewers may have to squint to identify a left-hand-drive Cadillac buried beneath overgrown bramble.

This isn’t the first time that classic cars have been left to rot in a barn.

Over 40 abandoned motors from manufacturers such as BMW, Ford, Rover and Volvo were found in an open barn in the UK.

A fleet of dilapidated fire engines covered in mould and peeling red paint were also found.

The images were taken by urban explorer Kyle Urbex during his 220th exploration at Brian’s Vintage Car Collection in Chester.

Kyle found the graveyard hidden away behind dense vegetation near the home of elderly couple Brian and Barbara.

Other images show old tractors and JCBs scattered across the property, giving it an eerie abandoned atmosphere.

He also found a BMW 635 CSI, once a sign of luxury, slowly being reclaimed by nature.

With iconic styling and nicknamed ‘shark nose’ the motor was very much the symbol of the BMW range after being introduced in 1978.

Kyle’s visit took an unexpected turn when he stumbled upon Brian himself who revealed his hopes for the future.

He said: “Brian has full intentions of one day being able to restore this high car collection, but given his age of 70+, I highly doubt he will get around to restoring all the cars and fire trucks.

“He has been victim to some of the cars being smashed to bits by youths.”

The star, 67, looks stunning as she poses for Vogue Adria‘s June 2025 issue in a series of melodramatic positions.

The series of sensual portraits see the actress working her magic for the camera alongside over 20 male models.

Exuding old-school glamour, the star looks striking in the sophisticated shoot alongside the plethora of men.

The Total Recall star can be seen perched on a man’s shoulders with her legs wrapped around him as the crowd try to grab her.

The blonde bombshell looks divine with her hair gently curled, wearing a mesh see-through outfit which shows off her enviable figure.

In another chic shot, the actress can be seen in a black floor-length gown, with her arms in the air.

With a pout on her lips and her hair in a fashionable quiff, Sharon looks the epitome of elegance.

More shots show Sharon embracing her femininity and power as she stands strong wearing a sharp suit as she is watched by a legion of men.

Wowing in a more masculine white suit, with her hair in a large quiff, the star can be seen striking a pose with her hands in her pockets, stood calmly and collectively.

Lying on a table with her long legs on display, Sharon looks every inch the sex siren in the provocative picture, while a man kisses her.

A couple of male models gaze at her as she lay across their laps and tugs at her white shirt suggestively with her leg around a man’s neck.

The international icon is wearing a sheer black skin-tight outfit for one cover with rips across her svelte body, surrounded by the models.

Another cover shot sees her posing in a chair wearing a boiler suit with her hair relaxed and down.

Draped in men, the star appears to be emulating her classic pose in cult movie Basic Instinct, with her legs wide open as she watches the men breakdance.

The shoot aims to herald Sharon as the ’embodiment of an independent, fearless, and unapologetic woman who continues to break boundaries—in culture, fashion and identity.’

In the cult classic 1992 erotic thriller Basic Instinct, Sharon shocked moviegoers with her jaw-dropping bold character.

She made movie history during a scene in which she uncrossed her legs in a police interrogation to reveal she had no knickers on.

Last year the star wowed in revealing red lingerie as she recreated her iconic Basic Instinct scene – 32 years on.

Chelsea striker Joao Felix ‘dating stunning Colombian model’ who starred in Netflix show Too Hot to Handle

CHELSEA star Joao Felix has finally scored… by dating a stunning Colombian model.

The Portugal international joined the Blues last summer from Atletico Madrid in a £42million deal.

The Chelsea forward’s mood will have been boosted after a tricky season[/caption]

Felix, 25, penned a contract until 2031 and helped Enzo Maresca’s side win the Conference League.

However, he managed just one Premier League goal – in his first game of the season against Wolves – before being shipped out on loan to AC Milan in January.

Felix had reportedly been single since ending his relationship with actress Margarida Corceiro in 2023.

But he was pictured together with reality TV star Valentina Rueda Velez while on holiday in Miami earlier this month.

Model Valentina appeared in the Netflix dating show Too Hot To Handle last year.

The glamorous brunette, 24, posted videos online of herself with the footballer in the Florida hotspot before taking them down.

Felix struggled to rediscover his best form at the San Siro.

And he was left out of Chelsea’s squad that travelled to the Club World Cup in America – plus had his No14 shirt given to new signing Dario Essugo.

Felix has won 45 Portugal caps, scoring nine goals.

The attacker twice helped his country win the Nations League, in 2019 and again this year.

He had a spell on loan to Chelsea from Atletico in early 2023 that yielded four goals from 20 games – plus a red card on debut.

Born at Viseu in central Portugal, he began his senior career with Benfica – winning the Primeira Liga with the Lisbon giants in 2019.

Felix joined Atletico for £112m and helped them lift the LaLiga crown in 2021, and also had a loan spell with Barcelona in 2023-24.

‘He’s just there for a free holiday’ scream Love Island fans as boy’s head is turned AGAIN

LOVE Island fans are convinced Harry Cooksley is on the show for a “free holiday”.

The semi-professional footballer, 30, has had his head turned left, right and center since entering the villa.

He was first coupled up with Sophie Lee, who became the first Islander to be dumped from the villa after Shakira stole her man.

Harry was then keen to explore a connection with Helena despite still trying to purse Shakira, telling her they had “unfinished business”.

But Harry has now had his head turned again by latest bombshell Yasmin, who admitted she also fancies him.

But now fans are commenting on Harry’s mad moves – saying he’s not serious about any of the girls and is just there for the free holiday.

One wrote: “Harry came for a free holiday.”

A second posted: “None of these boys came here looking for love. Just came for free food, free holiday and a free place to stay.”

A third commented: “The things people do for a free holiday on.”

A fourth added: “Dejon and Harry are on the biggest lads holiday.”

On tonight’s show the villa erupts into chaos as a huge row kicks off after two Islanders sneak off to the Hideaway and secrets come to light.

Harry and Yasmin struggle to fight their attraction to one another, with Harry telling her that he fancies her.

Yasmin tells Harry: “I’m just sort of waiting for you to shut up the f*** up and kiss me.”

Harry admits to her: “I’m one of the few people open to getting to know new people, and actually doing it.”

Yasmin replies: “I feel like you have to be bold in here. I like someone who’s a bit of a risk-taker and isn’t afraid.”

Harry says: “Yeah, you’re making me want to take some risks right now.”

They pair then sneak off to the Hideaway, which leaves Helena, who is currently coupled up with Harry, reeling.

She says to the group: “They’re kissing in there.”

Harry then rejoins them after and says he and Yasmin “only had a chat”.

Helena then asks him directly if he kissed Yasmin, to which he denies, but a sceptical Helena still brands him a “liar”.

Later that evening, the Islanders gather for another game at the Firepit – where they must each take a card, read the quote that’s written on it and then collectively decide which of their fellow Islanders said it.

Conor reads out a comment from Dejon that ruffles Meg’s feathers.

Dejon previously told the boys about Yasmin: “She’s never orgasmed, so if I give her her first orgasm, then she’ll fall in love.”

After Conor read out the comment, Yasmin says to the group: “I mean, if you can make me orgasm, fair play. I probably will fall in love.”

Things go from bad to worse when Remell reads out a remark that Harry made to the boys about wanting to kiss Yasmin.

Helena yells: “What the f*** is going on here?”

Megan exclaims: “He tells you f*** all and that’s why, you need to find out and hear it for yourself.”

Harry is then grilled by Helena and Meg over whether he was lying about not kissing Yasmin earlier in the Hideaway.

With the spotlight on him, will Harry tell the truth?

Europe’s worst airport for queues revealed with passengers waiting FIVE hours at security

WE ALL know the golden rule of flying – arrive at least three hours before an international flight. But sometimes, there’s nothing you can do to beat the queues.

Now, the world’s worst airports for wait times have been revealed, and Brussels has reportedly left passengers standing in line for five hours.

The airport in the capital of Belgium is a hugely busy airport, sometimes seeing 70,000 passengers a day – resulting in particularly long wait times.

The Telegraph has put together a list of the worst airports based on four- or five-star reviews for ‘airport queueing time’ on AirlineQuality.com.

While Brussels actually landed in 14th place, it did get a ‘special mention’ for its incredibly long queues.

There have been reports of lines that have left passengers waiting for five hours just to get through security alone.

One passenger told the Brussels Times: “After a long flight, it’s inhumane to expect us to stand for that long.”

There has also been reports of long queues at passport control which has resulted in the Belgian Interior Minister Bernard Quintin (MR) promising to take action, according to Aviation Direct.

The fact that Brussels is a huge airport welcoming lots of international flights could be a factor in its wait times.

A lot of passengers are going through visa checks, which will take longer to complete.

The airport is taking action to try and avoid queues, especially as it’s set to get busy with summer traffic.

On ‘orange days’ when increased passenger volume is expected, capacity will be increased by 30 per cent.

Brussels wasn’t the the airport with the longest wait times though

On ‘red days’, when the highest passenger numbers are forecast, an increase of as much as 40 per cent is planned.

Airports with the longest queues include Grenoble, Berlin, Hurghada, Belfast International and Venice Treviso.

Two UK airports also made the list – London Stansted and Luton.

London Luton has average recorded wait times of 42 minutes including security and passport control, while London Stansted is 41 minutes.

The UK airport with the longest wait time was Birmingham, with the average wait time at security being 29 minutes.

Standing at passport control will add an extra 18 minutes at the regional airport.

One of Europe’s busiest airports is getting a new £3.6bn terminal next year offering a ‘glimpse into future of travel’.

And a major UK airport’s plans for millions more passengers ahead of £1.1bn expansion – with new flights to Europe this year.

Man who threatened to slit throat of People Before Profit TD Paul Murphy’s wife spared trial & jail after apology

A MAN who threatened Paul Murphy TD with slitting his wife’s throat has been spared trial and jail after apologising and citing a psychotic episode.

Dublin District Court had sought fitness-to-plead psychiatric reports on the accused, and today, 42-year-old Joseph Cloherty’s non-jury hearing was expected to go ahead.

Mr Cloherty, of no fixed address, had earlier indicated that he would contest the charge, requiring Murphy to come to court and testify.

However, Judge John Hughes heard that the prosecution was not proceeding and applying to withdraw the case.

Judge Hughes noted that this followed a letter being sent by Cloherty to the Dublin South-West TD, apologising to both him and his wife, councillor Jessica Spear, and explaining the incident happened when he was going through a psychotic episode.

The apology was acceptable to the TD, who was not required to give evidence and left the court as Judge Hughes struck out the proceedings.

Defence solicitor Emer O’Sullivan also furnished a medical report on her client, who pleaded guilty to unrelated public order offences, resulting in a one-month suspended sentence.

The threatening encounter with the politician occurred after the politician canvassed about abortion laws in Tallaght on May 23, 2023.

Mr Cloherty was accused of having, without a lawful excuse, made a threat to Paul Murphy, intending him to believe it would be carried out that he would kill or cause serious harm to Jessica Spear.

Earlier, the court heard that Mr Cloherty had been hospitalised involuntarily.

Ms Spear is a People Before Profit councillor for Tallaght Central.

The Director of Public Prosecutions directed summary disposal of the case at the District Court level.

Outlining the evidence, Garda Elaine Markham had said that the TD had set up a stall at Belgard Square.

‘THREATENED TO SLIT HIS WIFE’S THROAT’

He was giving out leaflets about a pro-abortion bill when the accused allegedly “walked up to Paul Murphy and threatened to slit his wife’s throat”.

Gardai took statements from her and the TD.

Mr Cloherty told the court after it heard a summary of the evidence: “That’s a lie.”

Mr Cloherty had said: “They were talking about killing babies.”

On conviction, the threat could have led to a fine and a 12-month sentence.

Garda Sergeant Nigel Petrie gave evidence on the two remaining unconnected offences, the use of threatening, abusive, insulting behaviour in public and resisting arrest on January 9.

OTHER OFFENCES

Sergeant Petrie said he spoke to Cloherty near the Royal Canal Bank in Dublin and was about to arrest him over a warrant.

Cloherty angrily shouted, “You have now entered the arena, you don’t know what you’ve just done”.

He resisted gardai handcuffing or putting him into a patrol car, but the sergeant volunteered that it ranked at two or three out of ten in terms of seriousness.

He stressed that Cloherty subsequently sought him out to apologise, adding that he is now a very different man from the agitated person he met on the date of the arrest.
