A BRITISH holidaymaker has been reported missing after a fire broke out on a tourist boat off the coast of Thailand’s notorious “Death Island”.
The Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Centre received a distress call from a rescue centre in Koh Tao shortly before 9.30am local time on Sunday.

It reported that the tour boat Davy Jones Locker had caught fire during a diving excursion.
The vessel, licensed until November 2025, was carrying 22 people when flames erupted while en route to the Southwest Pinnacle diving site.
Two crew members, four diving instructors, and 16 tourists were on board the boat.
A British woman has since been reported missing.
She was reportedly using the toilet when a blaze erupted from the engine of the wooden vessel.
