Axed Love Islander break their silence after brutal dumping and take a swipe at ‘calculated’ star ‘playing a game’

LOVE Island dumped star Andrada has branded Dejon as “calculated” after he lead her and then backtracked.

Dejon grew close to Andrada in Casa Amor, calling her “babygirl” and saying she was the “best bombshell” they’d had.

When they returned to the villa Dejon admitted he was still “open” and wanted to carry on getting to know her.

But after a heated conversation with Meg, where she issued him an ultimatum, Dejon was forced to make a U-turn and shut things down with Andrada.

Andrada has now admitted the experience would have been different if Meg was not in the villa, while also revealing Dejon’s clever trick to avoid answering questions that may make him look bad.

In her exit interview, Andrada said: “Dejon is a very smart and calculated guy who knows how and when to use his words.

“We would have a flirty conversation wherein he’d ask me a question, I’d answer it, then I’d return the same question but he wouldn’t answer because it would make him look bad.

“When we got back into the main Villa, he was still open but then Meg got on his back and was upset. Then he shut it off.

“I don’t think that he shut it off because he wanted to, he did it because Meg told him so.

“I definitely feel like things would have been very different if she wasn’t there.”

Andrada insisted she thinks Dejon is playing a clever “game” and questions his intentions and compatibility long-term.

She said: “I think Meg really likes him but I question his intentions towards her.

“Is he playing a game and going for the win, or does he actually like her?

“To be honest, I don’t see them lasting on the outside with how he carries on.

“I feel like his true colours will come out. There’s only so long you can uphold this persona.”

Andrada also revealed exactly what she thinks of Meg now.

It come just days after Meg erupted at her over eavesdropping on a conversation she had with Dejon.

“We’re good, everything is squashed. She’s such a nice girl, I don’t have a bad word to say about her,” Andrada said.

“When the text came in to say that we’d been dumped, she was the first person to come up to me and hug me.

“She told me she’d see me on the outside. It’s nice I didn’t leave on bad terms with anybody.”

Last night Andrada and Ben were sent packing after the public voted them the least compatible couple.

Speaking about her future with Ben, she said: “We want to see where things go because we get along very well.

“There’s nothing I can fault about the guy. He’s a gentleman and treats me like a princess.”

In a major twist, the Islanders were told to gather around the firepit just moments after Ben and Andrada were dumped.

They were told that Shakira and Ty were voted the most compatible and would decide the next couple to go.

The three couples at risk are Harrison and Lauren, Emma and Conor and Tommy and Lucy.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX
