Programme Overview
AVBOB is offering a 12-month Long Term Insurance Learnership (NQF Level 4 – 140 credits) aimed at empowering unemployed youth with both theoretical knowledge and workplace experience in the insurance sector. This structured programme is hosted in collaboration with INSETA, offering learners the opportunity to gain an accredited qualification while earning a monthly stipend.
Learnership Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have a valid matric certificate with English, Maths / Maths Literacy, or Accounting
- Age: Between 18 and 35 years old
- Must not have completed any previous learnership
- Must not be currently registered with any academic institution
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, email, internet) will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- South African citizenship is mandatory
Additional Information
- A monthly allowance (stipend) will be paid for the entire duration of the learnership
- Placement is at the discretion of AVBOB
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals
