The 21-year-old stayed on the bench throughout the match but kept TNT Sports viewers entertained with his facial expressions.

Acknowledging the camera on him, he stared down the lens and started waving his left hand up and down across the front of his face.

He then proceeded to flip between frowning and smiling before eventually gesturing the camera to move on.

Fans found the brief clip hilarious, with one person writing: “The face of a man who knows he’s got a BIG paycheque coming his way .”

Duran is understood to be closing in on a huge £65million transfer to Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr.

Reports claim he will earn around £320,000-a-week in Riyadh – a huge increase on his current salary.

Referencing the move, another joked: “Saudi money was on his mind.”

While a third said: “The look of a very potentially rich man.”

Duran completed a medical today ahead of his proposed transfer and is now expected to fly to Saudi Arabia to finalise things.

His move could put an end to Arsenal‘s pursuit of Ollie Watkins.

The Gunners had a shock £60m bid for the England international rejected by Aston Villa earlier this week.

It is currently unclear whether or not Arsenal will return with an improved offer.

But with Duran now on his way out, Villa will be very reluctant to sell.

Watkins previously admitted that it would be a “dream” to play for Arsenal.

During his time at Brentford, he said: “Yeah, that’s the dream, to play for Arsenal one day. But, you know, it’s a long shot.”

A major car firm is scrapping plans for an expansion of hybrid plug-in motors – despite rivals investing in revolutionary new tech.

The French automaker is instead “betting” full-hybrid powertrains as the key stepping stone towards all customers having to use EVs.

The firm’s boss Fabrice Cambolive said: “We’ve decided to bet on full hybrid because it’s the easiest way to have low-consumption cars and prepare our customers to go to EVs.”

Renault’s move comes after careful consideration of the challenges with plus-in hybrids.

Cambolive highlighted that full hybrids offer an EV-like experience at low speeds without requiring plus-in charging, making them more user-friendly for drivers.

The Rafale E-Tech 4×4, Renault’s latest PHEV, features a 1.2 litre petrol engine paired with three electronic motors, delivering 66 miles of electric-only range and a total range of 600 miles.

However, Cambolive admitted that PHEVs are less practical for smaller vehicles, saying: “When you go to lower segments, a full-hybrid solution is far enough.

“Otherwise, you shift to EV.”

Renault’s strategy stands in stark contrast to major rivals like BMW, Audi, and Volvo, who continue to invest heavily in PHEW technology.

While these brands see plug-in hybrids as a bridge to full electrification, Renault believes full hybrids are a more effective solution for most drivers.

This move aligns with Renault’s commitment to an all-electric future, as demonstrated by the highly anticipated Renault 5 E-Tech and Renault 4, which start at £25,000 and £28,000, respectively.

The company previously offered PHEV versions of the Megane and Captur but discontinued them in 2021 due to limited demand and practicality concerns.

By abandoning plug-in hybrids, Renault is doubling down on its EV vision, betting that its nostalgia-driven design and smart engineering will keep it ahead in the rapidly evolving market.

The decision comes at a pivotal moment following the Renault 5 E-Tech’s recognition as WhatCar? Car of the Year 2025.

With a starting price of £22,995, it is the third cheapest EV in the UK, offering an enticing blend of affordability, retro styling, and cutting-edge features.

Looking ahead, Renault plans to focus on hybridising its smaller models, including the popular Clio, as battery costs fall and emissions regulations tighten.

Cambolive hinted that the next-generation Clio, due in 2026, will likely feature hybrid technology, though the future of pure petrol engines in Renault’s line-up remains uncertain.

AMAZON has removed a popular feature from its Fire Stick gadgets in a new software update.

The move has left Fire Stick users, many of whom have used the feature for years, furious.

Apps can no longer be hidden away, according to Fire Stick owners online.

That includes both pre-installed apps like Amazon Live Shopping – the ones that are impossible to remove – and your usual platforms like Netflix.

Amazon introduced the ability to hide Fire TV apps five years ago.

Hiding apps doesn’t save on storage by ‘offloading’ them – it simply removes them from view on the homepage.

They are still accessible if you search for them.

It has become a feature people use 24/7, with many people customising their user profiles with only the apps they use – and removing the ones they don’t.

It was particularly useful for parents who wanted to remove certain apps, such as internet access, from children’s profiles.

However, since Fire TVs latest software update, which rolled out a few days ago, the option to hide apps has disappeared.

Defunct apps like Amazon’s Freevee, which has had its content transferred to Prime Video, are also not able to be hidden.

The software update is titled Fire OS 8.1.2.7.

“I’ve restarted multiple times,” one user wrote on Reddit. “And have no idea why [the option is] missing or why apps I had hidden (Amazon Music and Internet, for example) are now unhidden.”

They continued: “My other sticks aren’t running this software version and haven’t lost this functionality.

“Crap like this adds up, and it has me really weighing Google TV.”

Another user replied, saying: “Yeah I’ve been trying to get [apps] off too but you can’t now, which sucks.”

The option to hide apps has vanished from both the older 1st-gen Fire TV Stick 4K, and the current 2nd-gen Fire TV Stick Max – suggesting it is being rolled out to all devices.
