However, Yamal is still making headlines, only now it is for his company off the pitch rather than his skills on it.

Yamal was known to have headed to Italy for the summer break.

And his holiday snaps went viral this week amid speculation he was with social media personality Fati Vazquez, 29.

Instagram posts from the pair days apart indicated they were holidaying in the same place.

After the links emerged, Fati, who turns 30 this year, revealed she had received sickening death threats.

While Spanish gossip influencer Javi De Hoyos insisted Yamal had told him the relationship was not romantic.

Now, photos have been published by Spanish magazine Lecturas showing Yamal and Fati together on the beautiful island of Pantelleria, located in the south of Sicily.

In one snap, Yamal can be seen riding a jet ski, with Fati clinging onto him on the back.

While another shows Yamal, wearing his life jacket, and Fati sharing a joke on the seafront.

Fati, originally from Galicia in northwest Spain, is a flight attendance graduate who now has more than 440,000 followers on Instagram and more than 320,000 on TikTok.

Addressing the horrible messages she received on her Instagram page, she said: “It’s sad to see people who have such darkness inside that they wish death on someone they don’t even know.

“What others project, speaks more about them than me.

“I choose to live with the purpose of continuing to grow and surrounding myself with light.

“To those who wish me ill, I wish them healing, because nobody who is well in themselves wishes the destruction of another.”

In his post on the matter, De Hoyos added: “Lamine would not have gone alone to this holiday place but with other Barca team-mates.

“Fati probably does have something with another Barca person or is a friend of another team-mate.”

Lotto bosses reveal where life-changing Irish EuroMillions ticket worth €250MILLION sold

IRELAND’s biggest ever EuroMillions win worth €250,000 was sold in Munster, it has been revealed.

The National Lottery has said it was purchased in a retail outlet in then south of the country.

The lucky store will be revealed in the coming days.

The winning numbers are 13, 22, 23, 44, 49 and lucky stars 3 and 5.

Spokesperson Emma Monaghan told RTE’s Morning Ireland: “It’s great news for Irish players, we are delighted for the winner.

“They’ve now become the highest ever winner of an Irish National Lottery game. So that is some title to hold.

“If anyone has found they are holding the winning ticket, they should sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe.”

Emma said the lucky winner should let the win “sink in” and consider getting some financial and legal advice.

The National Lottery will be waiting by the phones for the player to make contact in the meantime.

She added: “If at all possible, to stay calm, I know that might be easier said than done.

“Have a cup of tea and just let it sink in. Players do have 90 days to claim the prize.

“So I’m hoping that they will make contact before then.”

The EuroMillions pot reached its maximum cap of €250million on June 6, meaning the prize couldn’t grow any further.

The jackpot is more than double the €115million Limerick woman Dolores McNamara scooped in 2005.

Last night’s winner now claims the title of Ireland’s biggest ever lottery winner, eclipsing the €175.4million prize bagged by a family syndicate from Naul in Co Dublin in 2019.

National Lottery CEO Cian Murphy said: “The details surrounding the winning ticket will be revealed over the coming days. With such a big win we have procedures to follow, but we will reveal the winning location as soon as we can.

“While this is a massive win, it can come as a shock to a winner and we advise them to stay calm, get independent legal and financial advice and contact us as soon as they can.”

It’s only the second time the €250million limit has been hit, with an Austrian player taking home the mega amount at the end of March.

Who are Richard & Mayumi Heene? ‘Balloon boy’ parents who convinced world their son Falcon was trapped in an inflatable

BACK in 2009, Richard and Mayumi Heene were the masterminds behind a devious deception involving their son Falcon.

They told authorities that the six-year-old floated away in a silver helium balloon shaped like a UFO — here’s everything you need to know.

Who Are Richard & Mayumi Heene?

Richard and Mayumi Heene were the couple at the center of the infamous “Balloon Boy” hoax that captivated the world in October 2009.

The incident unfolded in Fort Collins, Colorado, when the Heenes claimed their six-year-old son Falcon floated off in a homemade, helium-filled silver balloon shaped like a flying saucer.

On October 15, 2009, Richard and Mayumi alerted authorities and the media, stating that their son Falcon was trapped inside the runaway balloon.

The spectacle was broadcast live, with millions watching as the balloon drifted for nearly two hours, covering roughly 70 miles before landing northeast of Denver International Airport.

When the balloon was finally recovered, Falcon was not inside.

Authorities launched a frantic search, fearing he had fallen out.

Falcon was later discovered hiding in the attic of the family’s home, safe and unharmed.

Balloon boy lie unravels

Suspicion quickly arose about the authenticity of the parents’ story, especially after a CNN interview in which Falcon.

When asked why he was hiding, the then six-year-old said: “You guys said that — we did this for the show.”

Investigators quickly concluded that the Heenes orchestrated the event to attract media attention and boost their chances of landing their own reality TV program.

The couple previously appeared on Wife Swap, while Richard had pitched several reality TV concepts, including one about investigating scientific mysteries.

Legal consequences

Both parents eventually confessed to their roles in the hoax.

Richard pleaded guilty to attempting to influence a public servant — he was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to pay $36,000 in restitution.

Mayumi pleaded guilty to false reporting and received a 20-day weekend jail sentence.

The couple also faced eight years of probation and were required to perform community service.

Motivation behind the stunt

Richard is described as a self-styled inventor, storm chaser and aspiring reality TV personality.

He met Mayumi, originally from Japan, at an acting school in Hollywood, and they married in 1997.

The couple ran a film-editing business and were known for their eccentric pursuits, including storm chasing and UFO hunting, often involving their three sons — Falcon, Bradford and Ryo.

Aftermath

Despite their guilty pleas, the Heenes have maintained their innocence, claiming they were pressured to confess under threat of Mayumi’s deportation.

In 2020, Colorado Governor Jared Polis pardoned both Richard and Mayumi Heene.

The family has relocated to Florida.

Trainwreck: Balloon Boy

A documentary directed by Gillian Pachter revisits the notorious 2009 Balloon Boy hoax.

The film is part of the Trainwreck anthology series, which explores headline-grabbing disasters and media frenzies from around the world.

Episodes of Trainwreck started dropping on Netflix on June 10, 2025, with Balloon Boy available for streaming from July 15.
