Coronation Street star goes Instagram official with her new boyfriend just weeks after revealing romance
A CORONATION Street favourite has gone Instagram official with her new boyfriend and praised her man for “blessing my life.”
The ITV actress posted a gushing tribute to her other-half in a series of social media slides celebrating his 23th birthday.

Cait Fitton, who plays Corrie’s Lauren Bolton, had teased her mystery man weeks ago, after telling fans she’d received a Jellycat cuddly toy gift from “my boyfriend.”
Now the 23-year-old screen star, who had admitted she wanted to be in Corrie since the age of five, has returned the favour, arranging for a series of 23-shaped silver balloons to fill his room as well as a happy birthday banner.
She added the sweet caption: “A day celebrating you.”
Deciding not to name her partner, she then posted a series of snaps showing happy moments together, including them glammed up as well as holding hands.
Cait then wrote: “Happy birthday to my man.
“Thank you for blessing my life.”
The soap star, who joined the show back in 2022, has decided against revealing her partner’s identity.
OFF SCREEN
Cait’s life away from the Weatherfield cobbles recently came to light.
She is originally from Lancashire and ventured into performing arts at the age of three.
While it’s clear Cait has a talent when it comes to acting, having also starred in Doctors, she’s also a great singer.
She previously wowed her followers online after posting a clip of her singing a rendition of Ben E. King’s Stand By Me.
Cait always had her sights set on Coronation Street, previously telling us she told her entire class in school how she wanted a role on the ITV soap.
She spoke exclusively to The Sun and said: “The teacher asked us, ‘What do you want to be when you’re older?’ Children were saying ‘a fireman’ or ‘a nurse’, and I said, ‘I want to be in Coronation Street’.
“I remember all the teachers were amused, they couldn’t believe it. I watched it religiously.”

She wrote: “My younger self is screaming right now!!! I want to say a big thank you to all the cast and crew at @coronationstreet for inviting me in with open arms and making me feel so welcome!
“Thank you to my amazing agent Brooke Kinsella at @intertalentactors for constantly supporting me and always pushing me to achieve.”
Remembering family members who have passed on, she continued: “Also a massive thank you to my family and friends who have supported me throughout this process and been with me along the journey so far! I dedicate this role of achievement to my family who were huge fans of the show but unfortunately are no longer with me, but I know if they were, they’d be bursting at the seams!”
CORRIE FUTURE
Meanwhile, back on the ITV soap, Cait recently exclusively told The Sun how the soap will feature a game-changing episode based on its younger cast.
Fans have seen Lauren caught up in an epic disappearance plot and her connection with the wicked Joel Deering.
She spoke to The Sun at the British Soap Awards where they revealed the “different” twist that would be rocking the soap.
Cait told us: “There is gonna be something quite different in the near-near future where we see all the younger cast come together.
“We really enjoyed that because nine times out of ten you don’t really get to see people unless you are working with them.
“Working with people our own age has been so much fun.
“It was two weeks of us non-stop altogether.”
She then joked: “I felt sorry for the crew and directors by the end of it but it was so much fun.”

Keir Starmer calls on Iran to ‘return to negotiating table’ as he issues response to US bombing nuclear sites
SIR Keir Starmer has said the US took action to “alleviate” Iran’s nuclear threat.
The Prime Minister urged the Tehran “to return to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis” as he responded to Trump’s blitz.
In a statement, the Labour party leader said: “Iran’s nuclear programme is a grave threat to international security.
“Iran can never be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon and the US has taken action to alleviate that threat.
“The situation in the Middle East remains volatile and stability in the region is a priority.
“We call on Iran to return to the negotiating table and reach a diplomatic solution to end this crisis.”
This comes after the US military bombed three Iranian nuclear facilities in an historic strike against the Islamic Republic.
Iran has since threatened “everlasting consequences” as Houthis vowed to target US forces.
In a statement posted on X, Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi wrote: “The United States, a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, has committed a grave violation of the UN Charter, international law and the NPT by attacking Iran’s peaceful nuclear installations.
“The events this morning are outrageous and will have everlasting consequences. Each and every member of the UN must be alarmed over this extremely dangerous, lawless and criminal behavior.
“In accordance with the UN Charter and its provisions allowing a legitimate response in self-defense, Iran reserves all options to defend its sovereignty, interest, and people.”
Iran has lashed out with two rounds of missiles into Israel in the wake of America’s strikes.
The IDF announced about an hour ago that the second wave was on its way, and urged all Israelis to obey the instruction of the Home Front Command.
Citizens were also instructed not to share information about locations or casualties.
At least 16 people are reported to have been injured.
Meanwhile Yemen’s Houthi’s warned they will target US ships in the Red Sea if they are involved in any potential attack on Iran, the group announced on Saturday.
The group’s military spokesperson Yahya Saree said: “We will target US ships and battleships in the Red Sea if Washington participates in the attack on Iran.”
Saree added how they consider any potential Israeli attack on Iran to be aimed at “removing Tehran as an obstacle to an Israeli plan to dominate the region”.
In Washington, Trump said the “highly successful” military operation “completely obliterated” Iran’s nuclear sites, adding that the US teamed up with Israel to carry out the bombings.
The president added that Iran must now make peace or “we will go after” other targets in Iran after the US strikes.
Trump said in a nationally televised speech at the White House: “Tonight I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success.
“Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated.”
But the president also said that if Iran didn’t cut a peace deal now it would continue to face American military power.
He said: “Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.”
“There will be either peace or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days.”
“Remember there are many targets left. Tonight’s was the most difficult of them all, by far, and perhaps the most lethal.
“But if peace does not come quickly we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill.
“Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes. There’s no military in the world that could have done what we did tonight.”
America has now directly joined Israel’s campaign of bombing Iran as they both seek to obliterate Tehran’s nuclear program.
A response from Iran, or from the Ayatollah in hiding, has not yet come.
Ali Khamenei is believed to be cowering away in the secret lair as Israeli missile attacks rain down nearby.
Two informed sources inside the country told Iran International the country’s ageing dictator is holed up in the bunker in Lavizan, a neighbourhood in Tehran.
Posting on Truth Social, President Donald Trump said US bombers targeted Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan enrichment sites – all key to Iran’s doomsday project.
He said a full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow.

Caoimhin Kelleher getting married to girlfriend Eimear as Ireland goalkeeper shares heartmelting engagement pic
CAOIMHIN KELLEHER has announced his engagement to girlfriend Eimear on Instagram.
The Republic of Ireland goalkeeper shared an adorable pic to his page of him down on one knee popping the question.

In 2022, the Corkman opened up on his relationship with the accomplished Irish dancer.
The Ireland keeper has posted about his girlfriend on Instagram and even says she helped him learn how to Irish dance.
Both Kelleher and Murphy have been together after he courted her for years.
He told LFC.com website: “My girlfriend is very good at Irish dancing, so I’ve been trying to learn a bit of that.
“I used to do it at school back home, so I’ve been trying to pick it up because I want to learn it again.
“I’ve actually been getting on quite good at it, so one day I want to be able to do a full dance or something like that.
“You have to have your feet in great coordination and be able to move them so quickly, so it definitely helps in terms of goalkeeping. It does me no harm.
“I won’t be showing it to anybody!”
Their engagement adds a personal landmark to one what has already been a breakthrough summer on the professional front for the footballer.
The 26-year-old finally sealed a move away from Liverpool by joining Brentford in a deal worth up to £20 million.
While manager Thomas Frank subsequently left the Bees to sign for Tottenham Hotspur, Kelleher is set to become their No1 nonetheless.
This has also reaffirmed his position as Ireland’s starting goalkeeper, having grabbed the position amid Gavin Bazunu’s injury problems.
He will also team up with international teammate Nathan Collins, but it was his international aspirations that motivated his decision.
He told RTE: “I think I’ve played well for Ireland. I think I’ve done well enough to keep the No. 1 position.
“I need to do well to keep it, but no doubt playing week in week out will help my cause for sure.
“It (the transfer) has been a long time coming. Definitely really happy to get it over the line and get it done and loling forward to getting going.”
Kelleher has played all nine games of Heimir Hallgrímsson’s games in charge to date having nailed down the No. 1 spot while Southampton’s Gavin Bazunu has been out injured.
Bazunu, who returned to the squad in March but misses out this week through injury, should be back challenging next season.
But Cork man Kelleher continues to produce performances that will make him difficult to dislodge as he pulled off some big saves as Ireland drew 1-1 with Senegal.
