Moment topless, beer-swilling teens erupt in fistfight behind beach huts in days of seaside yob chaos

THIS is the moment a group of topless teenagers brawled behind beach huts as cops struggle to crackdown on seaside chaos.

Teens were filmed forming a ring around two yobs who were throwing punches at one another in Kent.

Many filmed the fight as it drew closer to a row of beach huts on Broadstairs beach – once called the “jewel of the region” over the weekend.

Earlier footage showed the boys brawling on the sand within a circle of jeering onlookers.

At one point, one teen dramatically bodyslammed the other to the ground.

Scared beachgoers were seen backing away and leaving the sand amid the commotion.

It came just one day after cops put a dispersal order in place in Broadstairs – and later another one in Margate.

This is after a “small minority of young people” causing problems.

Cops said this included “under-age street drinking, fighting and reports of aggressive behaviour towards staff at shops”.

The dispersal orders covered the two town centres as well as the seafronts and surrounding streets.

It comes after a gang of around 30 teens sparked chaos and hurled chairs at waiters in front of horrified customers.

The shocking scenes were filmed as a group of yobs attacked a family restaurant at Broadstairs.

gang of up to 30 youths tried to enter the Italian restaurant, Sardinia, in Broadstairs as terrified customers looked on.

The group were chasing another teen who had sought safety inside the food spot.

The video circulating online shows the teens running towards the restaurant before some started attacking two male members of staff at the front door.

The staff closed the doors as the youth the group was chasing hid inside the restaurant.

Objects were hurled at the staff before a bare-chested male picked up a chair from outside and threw it, smashing one of the windows.

One staff member was seen restraining the other, who disappeared inside while his colleague picked up a chair to defend himself.

More chairs are hurled and a male voice in the video was heard shouting “get him bro, get him”.

Two girls were also seen filming the attack urging them on before the second staff member appeared and chased one of the attackers down the street.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Kent Police was called to a report that a disturbance related to approximately 50 individuals was taking place on Broadstairs beach shortly before 3pm on Saturday 21 June.

“Officers attended and after completing enquiries a 17 year old boy was arrested and taken into custody.

“Later that day, the teenager was charged with assaulting a police officer and was bailed with conditions to attend Maidstone Youth Court at a later date.

“A dispersal order remains in place following concerns of antisocial behaviour involving a small minority of young people in some public areas, including the town centre and beaches.

“Local officers will be on patrol to provide a visible presence and to ensure the area remains a safe place for all.”

Who is Damian Homer and how long was he jailed for murdering his girlfriend’s mum Wendy Francis?

DAMIAN Horner claimed he was ‘possessed by alcohol’ when he went on a murderous knife rampage that resulted in the death of Wendy Francis.

Horner was also charged with the attempted murder of his girlfriend Stacey Hill — here’s everything we know.

Who is Damian Homer?

Damian Homer is a 51-year-old man from Worcester who was convicted of murder and attempted murder in November 2024.

Before the sickening crime, he had a background working as a lorry driver, dairy manager, DJ and care worker.

He was in a relationship with Stacey Hill and had a prior criminal record — including a suspended sentence for assaulting his girlfriend in June 2020, which left her with injuries.

The murder of Wendy Francis

On the evening of 2 March 2024, Damian Homer launched a brutal knife attack at the home he shared with Stacey on Haresfield Close, Worcester.

The attack followed an argument — no further details of which have been reported — and resulted in the murder of Wendy Francis, 61, who was Stacey’s mother.

Homer also tried to kill Stacey, who was 38 at the time.

Wendy arrived at the property after being alerted by her daughter, who had seen Homer arming himself with a knife.

When she entered, Wendy tried to protect her daughter, but Homer stabbed her twice, inflicting fatal injuries.

In a desperate attempt to protect her mother, Stacey was also stabbed multiple times, suffering life-threatening injuries including a collapsed lung.

She thankfully survived after ten days in hospital, three of which were spent in intensive care.

Trial

The court heard that Homer was intoxicated, having consumed a significant amount of alcohol on the day of the attack.

He later wrote to his partner from custody, claiming “alcohol possessed me” and that he had little recollection of the attack.

Both women sustained defensive injuries, with the judge noting that they were “fighting for their lives”.

Sentencing

Passing sentence, Judge Mayo described the murder and attempted murder as “selfish and cruel”.

We will never come to terms with why this happened on the 2 March, but what we do know is she will be loved and missed forever

Family Statement

He added: “This senseless killing took place during a near-fatal attack on your partner, Stacey Hill.

“Both of your victims sustained defensive injuries. It would not be an exaggeration to say that both women were fighting for their lives.”

Homer pleaded guilty to the murder of Wendy Francis and the attempted murder of Stacey Hill at Worcester Crown Court.

On 7 November 2024, he was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 20 years before being eligible for parole.

Stacey’s courage, both during the attack and throughout the court proceedings, was commended by investigators and the judge.

Wendy’s loved ones said in a statement issued through West Mercia Police after Homer was jailed that she was “one in a million with a heart of gold”.

It continued: “[Wendy] welcomed Damian Homer into the family with open arms, showing nothing but love, support and loyalty towards him, which makes all of this so much harder to comprehend.

“We will never come to terms with why this happened on the 2 March, but what we do know is she will be loved and missed forever.”

Andy Fowler, 63, has lived on Haresfield Close his whole life and said he knew Wendy well.

He said: “It has always been a good street.

“I saw the ambulance working on somebody and the police were holding a blanket around it, so I knew that something serious was going on.

“I know them very well. They are very good friends of mine.

“I am very shocked, I can’t believe it.”

But that’s not all, as this Light Control Seamless Shaping Body is also incredibly affordable – so if your purse is feeling the pinch, you’ll be pleased to know that this high-street find is only £12.

According to M&S bosses, this seamless bodysuit ensures a “truly flattering silhouette.”

This sleeveless piece features “light control shaping for gentle smoothing with plenty of comfort.”

Not only this, but it is non-padded and non-wired for a natural look.

But that’s not all, as it also features a no-VPL finish for a smooth effect under clothing

It is made with Special Cool Comfort technology and a “moisture-wicking finish” which helps to keep you cool and dry.

The Light Control Seamless Shaping Body is available in two colours – black and rose quartz.

Sizes range from small to extra large and customers say it fits “true to size.”

The versatile bodysuit can be worn under clothes for a smooth finish, or even as a staple bodysuit with shorts on a warm summer’s day.

It has quickly proved a hit with many shoppers, as it has quickly amassed an average rating of 4.3 out of five.

Not only did many claim that it “hides back rolls”, but others described it as “easy to wear.”

One person said: “Comfy bodysuit which hides my back rolls like magic.”

M&S Shopper

Another added: “This is a great bodysuit. Very comfortable and easy to wear.”

A third commented: “Fits great, looks good, holds you in all the right places. My daughter said it looks so good she wants one.”

Why Everyone Is Loving M&S

Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:

“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.

“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.

“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.

“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.

“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.

“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.

“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”

Meanwhile, someone else beamed: “A lovely smoothing effect and looks great under anything.”

Not only this, but another happy shopper praised: “Lightweight but smooths out lumps and bumps, love it.”

But that’s not all, as another M&S fan explained: “I like that it’s fairly lightweight as I wanted a comfortable everyday smoothing vest. I also prefer that it’s not shiny/silky as it feels more breathable.”

Phuket’s Iconic Pink Buses Retired: Embracing a Greener Future with Electric Fleet

Phuket has bid adieu to the charming, open-air pink buses that once dotted its streets, marking the end of an era and the dawn of a new age in public transport. The iconic Pho Thong buses, renowned for their rosy hue and beloved by both tourists and locals since their introduction in 2008, have been retired in favor of a state-of-the-art electric fleet, imported all the way from China. This transition, completed on June 4, echoes a commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, proving that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as Phuket strides toward a greener future. The electric buses are now cruising through Phuket along familiar routes—the Yellow, Green, and Red Lines—offering travelers a quieter and more eco-friendly ride. Their smooth operation is a blessing, especially during the notorious monsoon season, providing shelter and comfort from the relentless downpours. Meanwhile, the nostalgic yet outdated…
