Championship club auctioning off parts of iconic 20,000-capacity stadium including seats from dugouts

MILLWALL fans have the chance to buy a piece of history in a rare auction that will see parts of the Den – including dugout seats – sold.

The Lions are currently in the early stages of a phased redevelopment of their stadium, the Den.

They eventually hope to expand the capacity of the ground from 20,000 to around 34,000 spectators, although a time scale is yet to be determined.

Now, with club officials looking to continue with some of the first steps, items from the Den are being auctioned off to fans.

Supporters can bid for several items from the stadium – including seats from both the home and away dugouts.

They can also buy signs from around the venue and even some trophies.

The 2015-16 Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Team of the Round shield is available, with bidding currently at £65.

A Millwall-branded trophy is also available for the same price as things stand on sportbidder.

Fans also have access to signed and framed shirts and photos, all with different bids.

There is even the chance to bid for items from club lounges along with stadium maps and seating plans.

CASINO SPECIAL – BEST CASINO BONUSES FROM £10 DEPOSITS

The auction is currently open and will close at 10am BST on July 8.

Discussing the process, Luke Wilson, Millwall’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “Each lot is steeped in the history and legend of the club, but it must be every fan’s dream to own one of the dugout seats.

“Famous managers such as Neil Harris and Gary Rowett, plus popular players like Jed Wallace, Jake Cooper and Steve Morison sat on them as they watched the action on the pitch, either after coming off themselves or as they prepared to go on.”

He continued: “The auction provides three specific solutions for the club and the fans.

“Firstly, it allows us to repurpose club property – much of it unique – in a creative way so that it is not wasted.

“Secondly, it provides a unique opportunity for fans to acquire genuine Millwall FC memorabilia direct from The Den that they would otherwise not be able to get their hands on.

“And lastly, it will raise money for us to reinvest in the club itself. It’s the ideal outcome.”

Shocking moment surfer is HEADBUTTED by airborne shark – before saying ‘I’m happy its mouth wasn’t open’

THIS is the moment a surfer is headbutted by a flying shark in a jaw-dropping encounter in Florida.

Wild footage shows Darren Kaye calmly sitting on his board when a spinner shark explodes from the water in a twisting leap.

The animal smashed straight into his head, knocking him clean off his board at New Smyrna Beach.

The clip captured the fast-moving predator launching into the air like a missile – a signature move for spinner sharks during feeding frenzies.

After the terrifying hit, Kaye told local outlet WFTV 9: “I was just really happy its mouth wasn’t open.”

New Smyrna Beach, northeast of Orlando, is infamous for shark sightings – and Kaye said he had seen plenty of fins slicing through the surf before.

What he didn’t expect was an aerial ambush.

“I got right back on that board and my pulse went to like 195 beats a minute in a second and I paddled as fast as I could out of the way,” he said.

The impact, he added, was no joke: “I have a scar on the side of my elbow from [being hit by a car] and that’s like what it felt like. It felt like getting hit by a car.

“It was really strong and powerful. They’re all muscle, you know.”

While spinner sharks aren’t typically aggressive, the beach is also home to black tip sharks – and the notorious bull shark, one of the most dangerous to humans.

Still, the brush with Jaws didn’t scare Kaye off the waves.

“We surfed there the rest of the weekend, we surfed there this morning, we surfed there yesterday afternoon,” the surfer said.

“We always have waves. We are lucky.”

The video, which was also posted on Instagram, quickly lit up the comments.

One user wrote: “That’s wild!”

Another chimed in: “I got hit by one at inlet while up riding a wave. Thought it broke my arm when I put it up to block the impact.”

A third added: “Had this happen to me at Navarre Pier.

“It hit my foot hard on its way out of the water and still landed next to my board. Fun moment, kept surfing.”

And another person commented: “Some of them get pretty big. Saw a 4-5 footer hop out today.”

With summer heating up, so is shark season on the East Coast.

Earlier this month, a 9-year-old girl nearly lost her hand in a more typical shark attack in Florida, and days later, a beachgoer in South Carolina was airlifted to the hospital after being mauled near Hilton Head Island.

But Kaye’s mid-air run-in proves you don’t even need to be in the water to have a close encounter with one of the ocean’s most fearsome predators.

Steph McGovern reveals chilling act from deranged stalker that forced her to call security

STEPH McGovern revealed the chilling moment that forced her to take action against a deranged stalker.

The television star, 43, appeared on today’s This Morning and revealed her stalker experience has influenced part of her debut novel, Deadline.

Steph McGovern opened up about her stalker ordeal[/caption]

Telling hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about her ordeal, Steph explained that the man never caused her harm but his delusions became increasingly concerning.

The man fell in love with her, believing she was addressing him directly through the TV screen whenever she was speaking to viewers in general.

It all got too much when he somehow got hold of her parents’ address and wrote to her dad asking for permission to marry her.

She explained: “My dad rang me and said, ‘Steph, who’s this fella you’re seeing?’

“He talked to my dad about being in a relationship with me and he kind of asked for my hand in marriage.”

When Ben revealed his surprise that the man had managed to get the address, Steph continued: “That’s what freaked me out. At that point it’s very different from having someone being there at broadcasting things to finding your parents address and writing to them.

“That panicked me because I thought my mum and dad are going to be dead worried here.

“That’s when it all kicked in and the BBC security team did their thing.”

No charges were ever brought against the stalker.

Steph has been busy ever since Channel 4 axed her daytime show, Steph’s Packed Lunch, in December 2023.

Not only has she written a novel, she also starred in Bear Grylls‘ hit Netflix reality show, Celebrity Bear Hunt.

It pushed her to the limit and in one terrifying incident she ended up bashing her face off a cliff face.

Medics scrambled to help her as she helplessly hung from her safety harness while host Holly Willoughby watched on with concern.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun earlier this year, Steph said: “We had these amazing medics and everything. There was a moment where I literally fell off a cliff and smashed into a wall.

“You will see, it was pretty scary. When I got pulled back off the cliff, I saw everyone’s face and I thought, ‘oh’, and then Holly is like, ‘Oh my goodness’.

“I was just hanging there looking at… There was blood dripping off my face.

“I didn’t overthink it. I just thought, they’re not going to let me die.

“It was fine, it wasn’t a big deal, it wasn’t broken. They were just kind of checking me that I didn’t have a concussion. I was a bit mad. You know these things sometimes that look more dramatic than they actually are?”

In difficult-to-watch moments, Steph fell from a ledge during a challenge and swung towards the sheer rockface.

The impact was heavy and she repeatedly shouted “Ow!”.

Co-star Big Zuu could be heard asking if she was alright as Holly reassured him medics were on their way to help.

Brit teen ‘drug mule’ Bella Culley ‘TORTURED into trafficking £200k-worth of cannabis’ as she shows shock wound in court

BRITISH drug mule suspect Bella Culley was tortured into trafficking £200,000-worth of cannabis by evil crimelords, a court heard today.

Bella, 18, said a brutal Thai trafficker held her arm under a jet of steam to force her to fly with 31lb of cannabis to the former Soviet state of Georgia.

Bella has now been locked up for six weeks in Georgia[/caption]

The teenager showed off a vivid snake-like scar to the court in the capital of Tbilisi as she insisted she never touched the drugs she is accused of trafficking.

She was seen breaking down in tears alongside members of her family as a Georgian judge rejected her plea.

After six weeks banged up in a hellhole jail following her arrest, Bella told the hearing: “I didn’t want to do this – I was forced under torture.

“I just wanted to travel, I just want to live with my family – I am a loving person, I am studying at the university to become a nurse.

“All I wanted to do was travel but bad things happened.”

The tearful teen, looking downcast in a pink shirt with her hair in a bun, added: “I don’t do drugs, as you can see in my blood tests, I am clean. I always wanted to make my family proud.”

Bella from Billingham, County Durham, claimed baggage containing the cannabis was carried to the airport for her and put in the plane’s hold when she boarded a flight from Bangkok in May.

Her family launched a missing person hunt in Thailand after she vanished on holiday but she turned up under arrest 4,000 miles away in the European nation.

Then on her first court appearance she announced she was pregnant.

Her baby bump had visibly grown in the latest court appearance as she was supported by her 39-year-old oil rig worker father Niel.

Bella told her family she was flying to meet a boyfriend in the Far East on a backpacking holiday, the court heard.

It has also come out that the father of her child is from the UK.

Her aunt Kerri Culley was in court and sobbed as evidence was presented.

Bella’s lawyer Malkhaz Salakaia said corrupt Thai cops had been in on the plot and stopped the Brit from trying to raise the alarm before she flew to Georgia.

Mr Salakaia said she went to a police officer to show him the burns to her arm – but he took her to another officer who turned out to be a member of the drugs gang.

He argued that she should not stay in the tough No5 Women’s Penitentiary and requested bail.

Mr Salakaia said: “You’ll see her actual involvement with these charges in her own testimony that is coming shortly – she is innocent.

“Her emotional state exactly confirms that she was forced,  I want to ask her to show the court her arm and you can see the burning scar.

“This scar occurred before she was “equipped” with her baggage, that she never even touched.”

The lawyer said Bella never saw the drug bag – which flew to Georgia via Sharjah in Abu Dhabi – until she was arrested for importing it.

He said: “From Thailand to Sharjah, from Sharjah to Thailand, this baggage was carried by a different person. She was only given a passport and told you go there and there.

“She tried to inform the passport control but was paid no attention. She even has no idea geographically where she is – she thought Tbilisi was a country.

“She was given a photo and was told to keep it and that she would be approached by certain people. This meeting didn’t happen because she was detained.

“Said has never taken  drugs and tests carried out by police once she arrived in Georgia proved she was telling the truth.”

Bella’s family said they were willing to submit a bail surety of at least £13,400 to guarantee her return to court to face trial after her lawyer said she had travelled to Thailand with just £70 cash.

But Judge Lela Kalichenko rejected her plea for bail insisting the teeanger was a potential flight risk and was receiving all necessary medical care where in prison.

Love Island’s Laura Anderson reveals parenting ‘struggle’ in candid post – and admits ‘I don’t know who my daughter is’

LAURA Anderson has been inundated with messages of support after she revealed her hardest-ever parenting “struggle” – and even admitted “I don’t know who my daughter is.”

The Love Island alum, 36, was eager to share “the truth behind my smiles” as she opened up on navigating life with one-year-old Bonnie.

Laura, 36, stressed she wanted to share ‘the truth’ behind her smiles[/caption]

She told how she “didn’t recognise” her young daughter’s new behaviour traits and that the issue of disciplining her had resulted in a knock to her self-confidence.

Former air hostess Laura shares her daughter with ex Gary Lucy, 43, welcoming the tot in September 2023.

Sadly she has often been the target of cruel online trolls, who recently called out her decision to keep her dog – who has bitten her child.

They also slammed her for being “out of touch” after she complained about a First Class plane journey with her tot, as well as being mum-shamed for going on holiday with her new man and leaving Bonnie behind.

Now the Scot has confessed that her happy snaps of late have been hiding the reality of her feelings.

She uploaded a series of snaps showing family days out with the tot at the beach and the circus, sharing special time with her mum, partner and pals.

Yet in her lengthy caption she outlined the real deal.

Laura wrote to her fans: “These may be images of love, laughter and core memories being made recently but the truth behind the smiles is- I’m struggling.

“This has been the hardest week of parenthood so far for me. Bonnie is coming up for 22months and a lot has changed and keeps changing.

“I don’t know who my daughter is some days, I don’t recognise her which has led to my dip in confidence communicating and or disciplining my own child (especially in public).

“I’m scared of responding in the wrong way, I’m scared of making a mistake because what if it teaches her long lasting bad behaviours?!

“And let’s be honest if you grew up in the 80s/90s like me, gentle parenting didn’t exist. We got smacked (no offence to my parents) and now it’s illegal. So I guess you could say I’m trying to find my place as a mother somewhere in between.”

Laura continued: “We also talk about the ‘juggle’ but It’s so much more than that. It’s the responsibility of choosing a priority every second of the day because we simply can’t do it all.

“I love my child but this is inevitably the hardest ‘job’ I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of jobs.)

Laura Anderson and Gary Lucy's relationship timeline

  • Laura and Gary met when they both appeared on Celebs Go Dating back in 2022
  • They announced Laura’s pregnancy in February 2023
  • Just one day later, they revealed that they had split
  • Later in 2023, they appeared to have reconciled
  • Laura gave birth to daughter Bonnie in September 2023
  • They announced shortly afterwards that they were no longer together
  • In June 2024, Lucy was asked if Gary had seen Bonnie, to which she responded: “No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others”.
  • In August 2024, Gary shared a video of himself with Bonnie
  • With Laura hitting out: “Instead of posting videos of the one time you saw your daughter this year, can you please reply to my text from 2weeks ago please, that would be great”.
  • Laura marked Bonnie’s birthday in September 2024 as she referenced her “beautiful daughter”
  • When someone asked where her relationship with Gary stands, Laura replied: “No matter what Gary has done and not done I will always respect him as Bonnie’s father and I hope one day he is capable of being the father she deserves.”

” My new mantra though, is- ‘show me how good it can get.’

“So without wishing my daughter’s childhood away or those precious bonding turning point/learning curve moments. I hope ‘this’ ie tantrums…too shall pass.”

Fans and fellow parents were quick to react to her no-holds-barred upload.

One supportively wrote: “We’re all wingin’ it.”

A second urged: “Be kind to yourself and Bonnie. You went away for a week (no shame in that) you’ve moved house and moved in with your partner and she’s started nursery all in the space of a month? That’s a lot for anyone to deal with. Once life feels more settled, so will she.”

A third noted: “Bless your heart, it’s hard AF & doesn’t get easier as they get older! Hugs sweetie x”

One then added: “Love how genuine & honest u are Laura.

“Parenthood certainly ain’t all plain sailing but you’ve got this beautiful mama even if it feels like u don’t sometimes, that’s a normal part of parenthood but u do n ur such a great mammy to beautiful Bonnie.”

Love Island star reveals she’s moving to Australia because she’s ‘too embarrassed’ to try to get a 9-5 job in the UK

LOVE Island star Patsy Field has opened up about her next big move — and it’s not a brand deal or a new reality show.

She’s planning to pack up and head to Australia, admitting that she feels “too embarrassed” to look for a regular 9-to-5 job in the UK.

Patsy revealed the pressure of being an influencer is tough[/caption]

A year after leaving the villa Patsy reflected on life post-Love Island and the reality of settling back into normal life.

When asked if she considers herself an influencer now, she replied: “I don’t think I’m a very good influencer…

“I guess at the moment, yeah, you could say influencing — or just fun-employed, I think is the term, isn’t it?”

Though she hasn’t ruled out returning to regular work, Patsy explained why she feels uneasy about doing so in the UK.

“I probably will be looking for a job soon, but I’m planning on moving to Australia,” she said.

“A year post-show… I don’t know if it comes with a little bit of embarrassment of looking for a normal 9-to-5 job.

“So I feel like if I move to the other side of the world and maybe find one over there, I might feel a bit better about it.”

Asked what kind of job she’d look for Down Under, honest Patsy said: “I’ll just have a look on Indeed in Australia and see what’s going on.

“I used to work in administration, so I wouldn’t mind doing that again… if they’ll take me back into that industry. I don’t know if they’d want an ex–Love Islander now.”

Patsy was dumped after two weeks in the villa last year but gained a huge social media following.

She also opened up about the pressures of being an influencer admitting it can be mentally exhausting.

She said: “I think your first one or two years are probably going to be the best.

“The people that make it, make it, and the ones who do amazing, do amazing.

“I’ve done OK. I get by.”

While she’s grateful for the platform Love Island gave her, Patsy says the reality behind the influencer lifestyle is far from easy.

She added: “There’s a lot of pressure that comes with posting on social media.

“In a normal 9-to-5 job, the only people who know how you’re doing are your boss and some colleagues. But with social media, it’s the whole world.

“You see how many views, how many likes, and people comment on your performance. That anxiety… I wouldn’t mind being away from that.”

She admits she’s never aimed to become “the next Molly-Mae” and is content having earned enough to match a regular income.

But she’s realistic about the shelf life of post-show fame.

“All the new Love Islanders come out and then the spotlight moves on. That’s just how it is.”

Patsy also spoke about body confidence and how her appearance on the show impacted how she feels about her disability.

“Yeah, I think that’s what I hoped for going onto the show — to be seen as an incredible, sexy, beautiful woman and still have a disability.”

She recently noticed herself starting to hide her arm again in photos, something she hadn’t done during her time on the show.

It’s a reminder of the pressure to maintain a certain image online — and another reason she’s considering stepping away from the influencer space.

As she prepares for her next chapter, Patsy says she’s ready for a change.

“I’m quite happy to go back to a normal job at some point. I just think doing that in Australia, far away from all the Love Island expectations, might just feel a little easier.”
