PETER O’MAHONY detailed an extensive “refresh” of his back garden that he had been “planning for the last few years”.
The Ireland and Munster rugby legend has become famed for his gardening in recent times.

Instagram/peteomahonyFans praised the change as beautiful[/caption]
But every pursuing perfecting, the dad-of-three took to Instagram to outline an extensive job he had been conducting in recent weeks.
Alongside a video of the work being done, O’Mahony revealed that it had required 15 bags of manure and three TONNES of mulch.
He explained: “I’ve been planning to revamp the herbaceous planting in all 3 beds over the last few years.
“I’m happy with the structural planting now but I knew the flowering had a big refresh in it.
“Over a few weeks recently we removed all bulbs, perennial plants, plants that I had moved from pots into beds and weeds.
“We then drew up a small list of plants that we repeated in groups along the boarders.
“2 of the smaller beds are quite shaded so the planting in them is different to the long boarder witch is mostly full sun.
“We planted nearly 300 perennials and some grasses throughout the 3 beds.
“Then added lots of garden compost and 15 bags of well rotted manure followed by 3 tonne bags of mulch.
“I think what we’ve come up with now is a longer flowering period that should have interest from Spring to Autumn.
“Plan is now to do a full planting of bulbs come winter time but as of now I’m delighted with the way it’s turning out.
“I’ll keep you up dated on how it matures…!”
Followers flocked to Instagram to praise his new look garden, with one saying: “Good looking garden. Well done”
A second said: “I just love your garden”, a third posted: “Beautiful” and a fourth commented: “This looks class”
While O’Mahony takes his gardening incredibly seriously, it provides a source of mockery from his wife Jessica.
In one such instant, she joked she “lives life on the edge” after nearly ending Peter’s via a heart attack.
She pranked him perfectly by initially stalking him in their garden like a tiger pursuing its prey..
The 35-year-old may be a hulking figure known for being tough even by rugby standards – but he’s still not immune from getting startled.
And so it proved as he nearly jumped out of his crocs before throwing a death stare her way that was usually reserved for only the tetchiest moments of his Munster and Ireland career.

MANY of us are guilty of putting off stripping the bed – it’s such a loathsome chore, and sometimes it feels like it takes a lot of energy.
But changing our sheets is essential, especially during the summer when the hot weather arrives.
GettySleeping during the hot summer months takes more of a toll on our bedsheets than sleeping during the winter months[/caption]
GettySo to help, experts have revealed how often we should be washing our bedsheets[/caption]
The warmer temperatures mean most of us will be sweating through the night, even if we are putting the fans on.
And this, in turn, can leave stains and odours on our pillows and sheets that impact our sleep hygiene.
So, experts have revealed exactly how often everyone should be washing their bedding in the summer.
And it’s more often than you might think.
Chloe Barrow, interior expert at Laura James, said that homeowners should wash their sheets at least twice a week during the summer.
And if you suffer from summer night sweats, then this number could actually be higher.
She said: “In the warmer months, I recommend washing your bedding every week as a minimum.
“Hot nights mean more sweat and skin cells accumulate in the sheets.
“Not only can this make for an uncomfortable sleep, but it can also lead to odour or irritation if left too long.
“If you experience night sweats, are prone to allergies, or have pets sharing your bed, I recommend upping this to twice a week to help maintain freshness and to be hygienic.”
But it’s not just sweat and skin that make our bedding dirtier more quickly than during the winter months.
Leaving the window open and putting the fan on can also impact our bedding.
Chloe added: “You should definitely wash bedding more frequently in summer than winter.
“In colder months, our bodies sweat less, and we tend to wear more nightwear, creating a cleaner sleep environment.
“In summer, it’s common to sleep with minimal clothing and open windows, which can bring in more pollen and outdoor particles.
“That’s not to mention those who experience night sweats and the body oils your bedding absorbs from that.
“This combination makes regular washing essential if you want to stay on top of sleep hygiene.”
Chloe also revealed the biggest mistake that people make when they clean their bedding.
HOW TO WASH & DRY BEDDING PROPERLY
CHLOE has also revealed what temperature we should be washing our bedding to make sure we get rid of all bacteria - and it's higher than you think.
She said: “In terms of temperature, 40 degrees Celsius is ideal for bedding in summer.
“While 30 degrees is more energy efficient, it isn’t always enough to kill off bacteria or allergens.
“It also won’t work if your bedding has visible stains, so a minimum of 40 degrees Celsius is advised.
“For pillowcases or sheets with heavy soiling, I’d recommend a hotter 60-degree wash, but always check care labels first.
“You can always boost a cooler wash with natural antibacterials like white vinegar or tea tree oil if needed.”
When it comes to drying, however, she urges people not to use their tumble dryer.
Chloe added: “Air-drying is always best for bedding. If you have access to outdoor space, hang your sheets in direct sunlight as the UV rays naturally disinfect and the airflow helps reduce any smell.
“If you’re relying on indoor drying, ensure you have good ventilation to prevent damp or mildew.
“Tumble drying should only be a backup rather than a first choice, particularly for delicate fabrics.”
She said: “The most common mistake people make when cleaning bedding is not washing their pillows.
“No, I don’t mean pillowcases, I mean actual pillows.
“I recommend doing this at least twice a year as a minimum, and treat them according to their filling.
“Synthetic pillows tolerate warmer washes.
“But feather or down should be washed cool and air-dried flat to avoid clumping or damage.
“If you’re a night sweater, I’d recommend washing your pillows a couple of times over the summer period.”

CREEPY footage has emerged of an alleged mock “wedding” between a British man and a nine-year-old girlat Disneyland Paris.
A video released by French network BFM TV shows around 100 guests seated during the £111,000 ceremony in front of the iconic Sleeping Beauty castle.

Lavish decorations are seen including flowers and a grand cakeAlamyThe park rented out the iconic castle grounds to the organisers under the belief it was a genuine wedding[/caption]
Guests are seen waiting for what they had reportedly been told would be “a chic and elegant” wedding rehearsal.
In the video filmed on Saturday at dawn, a flower-covered stage, lavish décor, a grand cake and musicians can be seen.
But what they witnessed next would leave them horrified – appearing on stage as the “bride” was a nine-year-old girl.
The child, reportedly of Ukrainian nationality, was carried out as she could not walk in the extravagant bridal dress.
Disney staff immediately called police upon spotting a “scared and confused” child in a big dress with four-inch heels taped to her feet, reports French newspaper Le Parisien.
Disneyland Paris was reportedly deceived about the nature of the event, as reported by The Sun earlier today.
The park said it had rented out the grounds of the Sleeping Beauty Castle under the impression that a genuine wedding rehearsal would take place – not an event involving a minor.
The event cost the organisers $130,000 (£111,000), BFM reported.
The organiser is said to have assumed the “identity of a Latvian national”, using “false documents to secure the conclusion of the contract for privatising the park”, BFM TV reports.
According to Le Parisien, the man, 22, had presented himself “as a future Irish groom living in Germany”.
Cops are said to have immediately arrested the “groom”, who later insisted that the purpose of the ceremony was to create a video for social media.
But Disney staff said recording is strictly forbidden, adding that “the man may have devised this subterfuge to obtain images of the park”.
The girl’s 41-year-old mother, reportedly Ukrainian, was also arrested.
She said she wanted her daughter to feel like a Disney “princess” for the day, according to DW News.
200 adult guests and 100 children aged five to 15 were said to have been recruited online through ads describing a “chic and elegant” “rehearsal” wedding, Le Parisien reported.
They were allegedly paid €200 each and told to “enter the room, sit down, stand up, applaud and participate naturally and elegantly in this event filmed in a festive and classy atmosphere”.
A statement issued by the prosecutor’s office in the local town of Meaux read: “Four people were arrested and questioned: the groom, who was believed to be the organiser of the event and is presumed to be British and aged 22; the mother of the child, a 41-year-old Ukrainian woman; and two Latvian nationals aged 55 and 24.”
A 55-year-old man claimed he was hired to play the role of the “bride’s” dad for 12,000 euros (£10,266) – and only discovered her age at the event, local news reports.
The prosecutor’s statement added that “police custody of the British suspect and a Latvian national was also extended on charges of fraud and money laundering”.
A criminal investigation has been opened, according to the prosecutor’s office.
It added that a medical examination confirmed the child had not suffered any violence.
The man posing as the ‘groom’ claimed he was the director of a production company and they were shooting a videoInstagramrevistacrescer.globo.comA guest said they were left utterly ‘stunned’ when they realised the bride was a child[/caption]
Officials say they are still trying to understand the nature of the event.
The man posing as the “groom” claimed that he was the director of a production company and that they were shooting a video, a police source told Le Parisien.
A witness, who said they had been a guest at the event, told the newspaper: “We all thought we were going to attend a wedding…
“Everyone was stunned, no one expected it. Disneyland did things very well.
“They cancelled everything as soon as they realized the bride was a child. We were shocked to see that.”
Witness Yeleen, who attended the ceremony as a guest with her daughter, said: “I saw a little girl dressed in white.
“I saw her hair prepared with curls and a lady picking her up in her arms.
“At that moment, I was shocked. I realised when I saw the child. It was atrocious.”
The prosecutor’s office said: “So it wasn’t a wedding, but a staged wedding filmed with around a hundred extras.
“They privatised Disneyland Paris, pretending it was a real wedding.”
They are set to appear before a judge at Meaux judicial court on Monday as part of a formal judicial investigation.

The opera singer, who starred in the Go Compare ads, had already been embroiled in ‘gropegate’ during last year’s StrictlyBBCWynne, pictured here with Katya, was dropped from the Strictly Live Tour after making what seemed to be a crude remark at the launch eventPA
The debut series of the show — which he hosted with his pal, Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page — saw them travel up and down the coastline of their Welsh homeland.
The opera singer, who starred in the Go Compare ads, had already been embroiled in “gropegate” during last year’s show, when he appeared to place an unsolicited hand on the stomach of his dance partner Katya Jones on live TV.
The pair said it was an inside joke and stressed they were great friends.
All at Sea aired on BBC One in February and March and saw Wynne and Joanna setting sail for Barry Island, Swansea, Tenby and St Davids.
Of the travel show’s axing, an insider said: “Once the first series was slapped on ice, there was always a huge question mark hanging over the prospect of a second outing.
“Only now has the BBC publicly confirmed it won’t be returning.
“It means that Wynne has no TV show or radio show with the Beeb, and effectively marks the end of their relationship.”
He launched his own online radio show earlier this month, and just over 40,000 tuned in for its first broadcast.
All six episodes of All at Sea are still available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
But a spokeswoman for the BBC confirmed: “There are no plans for a second series.”

He got beefed up to star as boxer Sugar Goodson in Disney+ historical drama A Thousand Blows – but Stephen Graham says his wife wasn’t thrilled when she was first told of his new role.
Hannah Walters, who appeared alongside Stephen in 2021 film Boiling Point, was worried about what type of filming he was doing after hearing the series’ title.
Speaking to Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes and Will Arnett on their SmartLess podcast, he said: “My missus went, as soon as they said, A Thousand Blows, ‘Sounds a bit like a top shelf, that . . . ’”
Stephen, who starred in his Netflix series Adolescence earlier this year, added: “I trained – I did a lot of boxing, ate a s***load of protein, and it was great – I had six months when I got into the best shape I’ve ever been in.
Loyle Carner, The Last Dinner Party singer Abigail Morris and Sampha will also host the popular show, which airs weekdays at 6.50pm.
Friday will see surprise stars reading from Glastonbury.

BROOKLYN Beckham has reportedly ‘cut off brothers Cruz and Romeo’ in the latest move amid the huge family feud.
The son of David and Victoria Beckham has hit the headlines after a distancing from his family.
GettyBrooklyn Beckham has apparently cut off his siblings as the family feud intensifies[/caption]
GettyHe is no longer on speaking terms with Romeo or Cruz[/caption]
AFPThis comes after he snubbed the birthday celebrations of his father David along with his wife Nicola Peltz (pictured)[/caption]
This was despite the fact that he was located in London with Nicola at the time, away from their Los Angeles £11million mansion.
Now it has been revealed that the situation has become so severe that Brooklyn is no longer on speaking terms with his siblings.
According to The Mail, his family – which include Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 20, – refer to the aspiring chef as ‘The Hostage’.
It’s also been reported that the former amateur photographer failed to even congratulate his dad after news emerged of his knighthood.
Brooklyn appeared to previously take a swipe at his family on Instagram when he posted a video with his wife.
Emphasising his ‘choice’ to stick by his wife, the caption read: “My whole world x I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person i know xx me and you forever baby.”
The outlet also stated that Brooklyn now spends most of his evenings alone with his wife.
His evenings consist of activities such as watching TV together by the fire as well as running her a bath.
This is a far cry from his former party lifestyle where he was seen with the likes of Jack Ramsay – son of TV chef Gordon Ramsay.
He also used to have a close bond with Anais Gallagher, 25, who is the daughter of Oasis frontman Noel Gallagher.
Brooklyn’s feud with his brother reportedly stems from a falling out between Nicola, and Kim Turnbull, 24, who was in a relationship with Brooklyn’s younger sibling, Romeo, 22.
What do David Beckham’s tattoos mean?
Hands
Starting with the hands, and David Beckham has the word “Love” inked across the top of his left hand, with a swallow on either side.
This is joined by the numbers 723, a combination of the shirts he famously wore for Manchester United and later Real Madrid.
On his little finger, he has the year he was married.
Becks also has a small female-stick figure designed by his daughter Harper.
The devoted husband has “Posh” tattooed on a finger as a nod to wife Victoria Beckham’s Spice Girls nickname.
Arms
Becks has two sleeve tattoos on both his arms with the centrepieces paying tribute to his marriage to Victoria.
The most famous of his body art comes in the shape of her name along the inside of his forearm, which is inked in Sanskrit.
Both Posh and Becks have Hebrew tattoos, which they got to celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary.
The matching tatts translate to, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine”.
Meanwhile, Becks also has a separate rose inking on his left arm to mark the couple’s tenth anniversary.
Neck
One of Beckham’s most famous tattoos is on his neck, which is a gothic style cross and wings.
It is symbolic of to his religion and acts as a protective guardian of his son Romeo, whose name is tattooed just below the angel wings.
Beckham also has the name of his daughter, Harper, on the side of his neck.
This was later updated to include the words “Pretty Lady”, to mark her fourth birthday.
Back
Beckham’s back tattoos serve as tribute to his sons.
He has angel wings at the top as a sign of protection for them.
Becks has both his eldest on Brooklyn, and his youngest son Cruz’s names inked across his back.
Body
Beckham has a large chest tattoo that is an image of himself as Jesus, with three cherubs representing his sons, Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz.
The footy ace also has a vertical tattoo down his left side in Chinese symbols – this translates as “Death and life have determined appointments”.
Paying homage to his father, he has an inking of a ship at full mast – which is identical to the same one his dad has.

THE cold and damp winter months may be behind us for now, but many households will still be suffering from mould.
UKhomesoften end up with condensation and mould during winter and early spring, with the bathroom being the most common room affected.
GettyIt can be tricky to get rid of mould in bathrooms for good[/caption]
Instagram / @thecleangroupThe simple trick only requires two items you can grab on the highstreet[/caption]
Thankfully, cleaning pros have revealed a product you can grab on the high street to tackle even the toughest of stains.
Even if you clean your bathroom daily, mould is a common problem because of the humidity levels caused by showers and baths.
Mould can grow on sealant around the windows, bath, and sink, making your bathroom look dirty no matter what you do.
It can look unsightly in the home – but that’s not the only problem mould causes.
The NHS states if you have damp and mould in your home you’re more likely to have respiratory problems, respiratory infections, allergies or asthma.
Damp and mould can also affect the immune system.
Taking to Instagram, the pros from @thecleangroup have revealed how a supermarket buy can make all the difference – and there’s no scrubbing involved.
“Totally natural & totally powerful. You don’t need to use toxic chemicals to banish black mould,” they captioned the viral post.
So, what’s the secret?
The combination of hydrogen peroxide and some simple kitchen roll is all you need.
The best part is you don’t need to break the bank to get your hands on it either, since hydrogen peroxide can be bought from B&Q for just £8.99.
Of course, you won’t need to use a full bottle since you’ll only need to cover the affected areas, meaning the trick will work out to as little as 30p.
First decant 6% Hydrogen Peroxide into a spray bottle and spritz any areas with black mould.
Then line the same areas with kitchen roll and spray again before waiting 30 minutes to remove everything – you should make sure to wear gloves when using hydrogen peroxide as well.
Finish up by rinsing the same area thoroughly and you’ll be left with a bathroom that looks as good as new.
“That’s it! No scrubbing, no toxic chemicals and no bleach,” the pros said.
After sharing the trick on Instagram other cleaning fans couldn’t believe how well it worked.
One said: “This is brilliant, thank you!”
And a second commented: “I’m giving my daughters house a full reset while she’s off for the weekend and I know she had this problem so thanks for sharing this.”
“I’ve never tried this, I always use white vinegar but great results,” another wrote.

An expert's guide to removing mould and repainting walls
Not only does mould look ugly, but if it’s not treated properly it can impact your health.
Ronseal shared its guide to removing, fixing and preventing mould infestations.
You should only remove mould if it’s caused by condensation and covers an area smaller than one metre squared. If the mould is caused by sewage or contaminated water, call in a professional.
Before you start, wear goggles, long rubber gloves and a mask that covers your nose and mouth to protect you from the mould spores. Open the windows for added ventilation but keep the doors shut to avoid spores spreading.
How to remove mould from walls:
Fill a bucket with water and mild detergent like washing up liquid. Or use a dedicated mould remover to make quick work of it.
Dip a cloth in water and wipe the mould off the wall. Don’t brush it as this can release mould spores.
Once you’ve removed the mould, use a dry rag to remove the rest of the moisture.
Throw away the cloth and vacuum the room to make sure you’ve removed all of the spores.
How to paint over mould:
Never ever paint over mould without killing it first. It won’t tackle the source of the problem and will make it look worse.
Once you’ve treated the affected area, use a specialist anti-mould paint to finish the job.
Damp stains can be painted over with a suitable paint like Ronseal’s 6 Year Anti Mould Paint, so long as the damp has dried and the source has been treated. Some damp sealants can be applied directly onto a wet surface, so check the instructions before you begin.

A MUM who looks a decade younger than her real age has revealed she’s even been ID’d at Disney World while with her kids.
Courtney Ryrie-Novack is originally from Scotland but now lives in Florida and has two young sons, four-year-old Kolsyn and Hudsyn, two.

The mum regularly shares parenting tips and her family life on TikTok (@scottishcourt) where she boasts almost 22,000 followers.
In a recent video, she spoke out about a family trip to Disney World with her sons.
And she was left stunned when she was mistaken for a teenager by staff.
Courtney lipsynced “I’m a mommy, I’m a mom” while her TikTok caption read: “What it felt like when the Disney cast member ID me to rent a bike (18+) with my two kids beside me.”
The mum of two turns 27 in August but admits she still gets ID’d “quite often”.
While it’s mostly for looking younger than 21, the legal age to buy booze in America, she has even been mistaken for a teen.
She told Fabulous: “I had been ID’d for 21+ quite a few times but only 18+ once or twice before, so I was shocked [when I was ID’d at Disney World].
“I found it a little bit comical but at the same time a little flattered seeing as everyone wants to look younger after having kids I feel.
“The worker apologised and just said ‘wow I would have never guessed’ but remained professional.”
The youthful mum doesn’t gatekeep her secrets to looking good for your age, either.
While she admits she’s “still trying to find a secret formula” for skincare, she keeps it pretty simple with her daily routine – and it’s obviously working!
She said: “I wash my face twice a day with a sensitive, clean facial cleanser.
“And I always tone my face and use sun tan lotion (sunscreen) if I’m going to be exposed a lot to the sun that day, such as a theme park or beach day.”
We told earlier how Courtney suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction at a water park – and her son was the culprit.
She said: “Nothing is more humbling than being a toddler mum.
“My son just exposed me to the whole of Aquatica [water park] by pulling my bikini top off as I was carrying his float.
“I was mortified.”
She added: “Such a love hate relationship with your kids anyone disagrees are lying.
“You love them no matter what though before anyone comes for me.”

REFEREEING errors fell to an all-time low in the Premier League last season – despite a series of controversies.
According to the Prem’s “Key Match Incident Panel” – made up of former players, managers and refs – there were just 18 VAR errors over the 380 matches of the 2024-25 campaign.
GettyBruno Fernandes was wrongly sent off for a foul on James Maddison[/caption]
PAThe Panel admitted it was incorrect to send off Myles Lewis-Skelly against Wolves[/caption]
AlamyWest Ham’s last-gasp penalty against Man Utd was another mistake[/caption]
That was a 42 per cent drop on the 31 errors in 2023-24 and further down on the 35 mistakes assessed in the previous campaign.
The panel looks at every major decision on goals, penalties and red cards, determining if the call by the onfield officials or the VAR was correct or flawed.
SunSport understands the reduction was largely down to fewer missed VAR interventions on subjective decisions, although there were occasions in which Stockley Park wrongly recommended a change of call.
The KMI ruled that the VAR should have stepped in to recommend red cards for Brighton’s Joao Pedro against Brentford and Everton’s James Tarkowski in the final Goodison Merseyside derby.
Brentford were the biggest sufferers, with three mistakes which should have been changed in their favour, with Everton the beneficiaries of three errors.
There were a number of occasions in which the KMI Panel agreed that the on-field decision was wrong but did not meet the threshold for a VAR intervention.
The numbers will doubtless be met with disbelief from Arsenal fans who remain insistent that PGMOL have an agenda against them.

But the costly second yellow cards for Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard against Brighton and Manchester City respectively did not come under the scrutiny of the Panel.
Changes to time-keeping last season saw an average of nine minutes and 45 seconds of stoppage time per game, down 108 seconds from the previous season.
The campaign saw 105 added time goals across the 380 matches, 40 fewer than in 2023-24.
But VAR checks were significantly speeded up, with the average delay per match due to VAR down to 39 seconds from 64 seconds in the previous season.
