The panels cost just £9.75 each and can be ordered through B&Q’s website[/caption]

B&Q’s Artificial Grass Wall Panels – decorated with dahlia roses and hydrangeas – are the perfect choice if you want to spice up your garden or bring some warm colours into your indoor living spaces.

And at just £9.75, they’re an absolute bargain.

Each panel measures 40x60cm and contains a number of flowers tied to a grate.

The products, sold and shipped by Garden Sanctuary, aren’t stocked in B&Q stores but you can order them online.

This comes just days after shoppers raced to B&Q stores to grab the perfect budget friendly product to elevate their gardens and add instant privacy to their outdoor space.

There’s nothing worse than sitting outside with a glass of wine and a good book, only to realise that your nosy neighbour is peeking at you over the fence.

Putting up a large fence around your garden may seem like the obvious choice to keep away prying eyes, but this can be expensive – and can sometimes lead to disagreements with neighbours.

Paul CEO of plants and perennials specialists J. Parker’s revealed that one stylish way of creating privacy in your garden is by planting ornamental grasses.

He said: “Grasses can be used easily to create internal screens or hedges that flower beautifully, move in the slightest breeze, and need little care during the summer months.

“I recommend silvergrass or pampas grass to not only conceal your garden, but to introduce interesting textures.

“Their fast growth rate makes ornamental grasses ideal for privacy hedges because new plants can rapidly fill in any gaps.”

B&Q’s Stipa Pony Tails Ornamental Grass is currently priced at £10.49, making it a perfect solution for penny pinchers.

The height of the plant when you purchase it will be 30-45cm, but ornamental grass can grow up to three metres tall.

The plant is low maintenance, so won’t cause you any stress, plus its feathery plumes will elevate the look of your garden into a stylish haven.

Additionally, B&Q slashed the price of an ornament – that helps your patio seem bigger – to just £11 last week.

The Ornamental Prunus Incisa “Kojo-no-Mai” Fuji Cherry Tree is available for just £10.79.

Usually referred to as the cherry tree, this plant has a compact, rounded shape and a gently spreading habit.

I gave my garden instant privacy with a B&Q buy – it was easy to attach, will last in winter & looks super realistic

WITH summer well and truly here, many people are outside updating their gardens.

And it seems avid gardeners have found the perfect buy to give gardens a quick update and add some extra privacy to their space.

B&Q is selling a garden must-have to give you some peace and quiet while adding some extra greenery.

The Decorative Artificial Ivy Leaf Green Hedge Roll has been a hit with customers and can easily be attached to an existing fence or balcony.

Thankfully, it comes at a bargain price with a 3m x 1m roll costing just £22.99.

The fencing panel is made up of hundreds of fake ivy leaves in a deep green colour and decorates the garden, just as well as giving you privacy.

The Artificial Fence Panel is also super easy to install.

The snap hook backings can fit many different areas and are flexible, which makes mounting easier by providing a way to install on an area with Zip Ties or Nails.

It’s also perfect to create privacy with the leaves positioned on the snap hook backing to create a full look, while the snap hook backing also acts as a second layer of privacy with a beautiful leaf design.

The B&Q item also comes with a two-year guarantee and has UV protection to stop the colour of the leaves from fading in the sun.

This makes it suitable for planting in small gardens or areas with limited space.

Garden designer Karen McClure explained that adding plants to your patio space would help it to seem bigger.

“Use ornamental feature trees,” she advised anyone struggling with limited outdoor space.

“Multi-stem specimens in particular can be kept to a controlled height in a large feature pot, and can create a lovely focal point as well as give interest at a higher level. Be bold.”

She added that the number of plant varieties should be kept to a minimum.

“Too many varieties can create a busy and chaotic feel, whereas a simple planting palette will feel harmonised, soothing, and calm,” she said.

How can I turn my passion for painting into a career and retire early?

APPRENTICE star and West Ham United vice-chair Karren Brady answers your careers questions.

Here, Karren gives her expert career advice to a reader who wants to sell their artwork.

Karren Brady gives you career advice

Q) At the age of 53, I’ve taken up painting, and I think I’m pretty good.

I mainly paint landscapes, and would like to see if I could make some money out of selling art.

My dream would be to retire early and live off the proceeds of my paintings before drawing my pension, though I don’t know how doable that is.

My biggest problem is that I don’t know where to start with selling paintings.

I use a computer for my office job, but I’m not very technically minded and I realise I need to create a website if I want to get my artwork seen.

But what else do I need to think about?

Pamela, via email

A) It’s fantastic that you’ve discovered a real passion for painting, and even better that you’re dreaming big and thinking about turning it into something profitable.

Don’t worry about jumping into building a website just yet – there are easier, more approachable ways to get your art seen.

Start small – take some good photos of your work (make sure you use natural light) and open an Instagram account.

The platform is free, simple to use and a great way to test the waters and see what reaction your paintings get.

I’d also suggest joining local art groups on Facebook, as I’ve seen so many people connect, sell their work and get advice that way.

Platforms like Artfinder and Etsy are also worth looking into, plus don’t underestimate the value of a local craft market to get face-to-face feedback and build your confidence.

Most importantly, make sure you sign your work and keep a log of each piece.

Finally, try to speak to other artists whenever and wherever you can – people are often more helpful than you might expect.

Luke Hawx, 43, – also known as Oren Hawxhurst – is an actor and professional wrestler that has appeared on several huge projects.

He appeared in films such as The Fate of the Furious and Logan with Hugh Jackman, Richard E. Grant, and Sir Patrick Stewart.

The star has also appeared in the stars TV series Heelz and Young Rock, where he played the legendary WWE wrestler, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

However, he’s had to pull out of future shows for the WildKat wrestling promotion as he was rushed to hospital with a serious stomach illness.

The star posted a long essay onto his Instagram account which accompanied a selfie from his hospital bed.

He wrote: “Yesterday, I took my 1st (hopefully last) ambulance ride for the 1st time in 44years.

“That being said, this isn’t a pitty post but I have some unfortunate news that I would have preferred to be private about, but, as a performer I have to be transparent to my fans who are expecting to see me at several upcoming events Im scheduled for.

“For a few weeks now I was having some stomach issues that was causing me pain & discomfort.

“I thought it was due to me excessively eating some foods I don’t normally eat. So, I cleaned up my diet and thought it was business as usual.

“As days went on, I just tolerated the pain and went on about my normal life of training hard,Weights in the morning, Conditioning in the afternoon etc.”

However, the star admitted that the pain became too much to bare and some of the other symptoms started getting worse.

He continued: “On Thursday night of this week I felt pretty rough physically, like I had a virus.

“I spent the night with terrible hot/cold flashes, sweating profusely, head pounding, and some vomiting.

“I toughed it out all night, and by Friday morning, I felt much better. So I decided to rest most of the day and rehydrate, etc.

We went to the ER. After some test, ER informed me that it was very good that I came in and didn’t wait longer.

Luke HawxInstagram

“Saturday morning, I woke up with some discomfort but decided to crush a workout the gym.

“As the day went on, my wife asked to go to the Dr because she wasn’t comfortable with how I was feeling and how long I was feeling that way for.

“I obviously argued against it and told her I was fine and it would go away eventually. She asked me to call one of my Dr friends to get their opinion, so I did that.”

He added:”My friend said he suggested I go get looked at asap, so I knew that was probably best and safest even though I wanted to continue to tough it out.

“We went to the ER. After some test, ER informed me that it was very good that I came in and didn’t wait longer.

“Then they informed me that I needed to go into Surgery and I wouldn’t be going home. I was honestly heartbroken to hear this news.”

“I quickly called to my surgeon, who is a good friend of mine and he jumped on it right away. A few hours later, I was in Surgery. Surgery was successful and I am now recovering.”

Aspirin could be prescribed to prevent bowel cancer for those in high-risk group

ASPIRIN could be prescribed to try to prevent bowel cancer for those in a high-risk group.

A Cancer Research UK study found a small daily dose offers protection for people with Lynch syndrome.

More than half of people with the genetic condition develop bowel cancer at some point in their life.

Experts will apply for a prescription license to give “baby” 75mg pills to the nearly 200,000 Brits with Lynch syndrome.

CRUK said fewer than half of GPs knew they should prescribe aspirin to Lynch syndrome patients and many were worried about the dose size.

The trial found a much smaller dose than the previously recommended 600mg would work, reducing the risk of side effects.

Professor Sir John Burn, from Newcastle University, said: “This tells us that aspirin can prevent bowel cancer at lower doses, minimising the chances of side-effects whilst offering vital protection for people with Lynch syndrome.

“Only a quarter of people with Lynch syndrome are currently taking aspirin and too many are missing out on a potentially life-changing opportunity to prevent cancer.”

Lynch syndrome is estimated to cause about one in every 33 bowel cancer cases in the UK.

Bowel tumours are one of the most common types, with 44,000 cases per year and 17,000 deaths.

What are the red flag warning signs of bowel cancer?

IT'S the fourth most common cancer in the UK, the second deadliest - yet bowel cancer can be cured, if you catch it early enough.

While screening is one way of ensuring early diagnosis, there are things everyone can do to reduce their risk of the deadly disease.

Being aware of the signs and symptoms of bowel cancer, spotting any changes and checking with your GP can prove a life-saver.

If you notice any of the signs, don’t be embarrassed and don’t ignore them. Doctors are used to seeing lots of patients with bowel problems.

The five red-flag symptoms of bowel cancer include:

  • Bleeding from the back passage, or blood in your poo
  • A change in your normal toilet habits – going more frequently for example
  • Pain or a lump in your tummy
  • Extreme tiredness
  • Losing weight

Tumours in the bowel typically bleed, which can cause a shortage of red blood cells, known as anaemia. It can cause tiredness and sometimes breathlessness.

In some cases bowel cancer can block the bowel, this is known as a bowel obstruction.

Other signs include:

  • Gripping pains in the abdomen
  • Feeling bloated
  • Constipation and being unable to pass wind
  • Being sick
  • Feeling like you need to strain – like doing a number two – but after you’ve been to the loo

While these are all signs to watch out for, experts warn the most serious is noticing blood in your stools.

But, they warn it can prove tricky for doctors to diagnose the disease, because in most cases these symptoms will be a sign of a less serious disease.
