AN Irish content creator has stunned in three separate Dunnes Stores outfits in a gorgeous try on haul.

The Savida range has been keeping shoppers delighted in the past few weeks with their summer drops.

And fashionista Laura, who goes by @lauremichelleo on social media, alerted fans to some of the collection’s best looks.

She took to Instagram to post a summer dress, a nighttime look and a cute top.

Laura said: “Another little Savida try on.”

The first item she poses in is the Savida Arti Fringe Knit Scallop Top.

It’s a casual number that can be dressed up or down and features a black and white design.

It costs €20 and comes in sizes XXS up to XXL.

An official description reads: “Featuring a unique scalloped knit pattern in a chic black and cream palette, this sleeveless top is perfect for warm-weather days or stylish layering.

“It is finish with boho-inspired fringe along the hem. Savida is available excluisvely at Dunnes Stores.”

The second item Laura showed off is the Savida Mia Pleat Detail Tennis Dress.

The buttercream coloured item features strap sleeves and a cute pleated skirt.

The dress retails for €30 but there’s some bad news – despite coming in sizes XXS up to XXL, only size L is still available online.

According to Dunnes Stores: “This sporty-chic tennis-inspired dress from Savida is designed with flattering pleat detailing and a classic scoop neckline.

“Built-in shorts provide both comfort and confidence, making it perfect for on-the-go days.

“Savida is available exclusively at Dunnes Stores.”

The final piece in the video is the Savida Bella Ruched Mini Dress.

The flattering blue dress features gathered material for an extra flattering look as well as strap sleeves and a round neckline.

Only sizes XL and XXL are still available online but the dress is on sale for just €10.

A YOUNG American woman was shot dead in cold blood by Mexican cartels who mistook her dad’s car for a rival gang vehicle.

Isabel Ashanti Gomez was returning home with her father Valentin in his Ford F-150 truck when a heavily armed gang started firing at them.

Isabel died instantly in a hail of gunfire and her father and friend, named only as 26-year-old Danae, were seriously wounded in the bloodbath on 23rd June.

The police believe the roadblock had been set up by the notoriously ultra-violent Jalisco New Generation Cartel.

The gang is one of several ruthless crime groups battling to control drugs and arms trafficking in the region.

The Bray Bomber will face rival Amanda Serrano in a trilogy bout — with the Irishwoman winning the previous two — on July 11 at Madison Square Garden.

Many believed Taylor would have fought at GAA HQ but those plans never came to fruition.

Taylor — who fought at MSG against Serrano in their first bout back in 2022 — said: “I wouldn’t say I’m frustrated about it at this stage.

“I love Madison Square Garden. It’s obviously one of the most epic and iconic arenas out there.

“It would have been special to fight in Croke Park but there’s nothing I can do about that.”

A planned bout at GAA HQ was shelved in 2023 due to issues surrounding security costs.

Taylor has fought twice in Dublin, with both battles against Chantelle Cameron — a defeat and a victory for the home fighter — staged at the 3Arena.

Promoter Eddie Hearn suggested in January that a Jones’ Road joust could take place.

But Croke Park stadium director Peter McKenna claimed there had been no talks.

Taylor added: “Those things are out of my control. I don’t let those things frustrate me.

“I can’t let those things frustrate me. It’s a pity it hasn’t happened.

“But I’m very excited to be fighting at MSG again.”

Wearing tie-side bikini bottoms, a white top and square shades, Halle looked carefree as she danced around their luxury suite to Van’s latest track.

As she got into the groove, disaster struck and her bikini slipped off.

Halle jumped out of the shot as Van, 58, could be heard laughing from behind the camera.

She shared the hilarious clip on Instagram with a well placed emoji covering her modesty.

The Catwoman star added the caption: “When your man’s music is so good you just can’t help yourself!”

She added: “Check out Van Hunt’s new EP A Heart Full Of Questions streaming on all platforms.”

The swimwear slip-up isn’t the only thing Berry’s been opening up about. Just a day earlier, she got candid on Jenna & Friends on the Today show – and dished out details on her love life.

The Catwoman actress revealed that Van has already proposed to her – wanting to make her “Mrs Halle Van Hunt.”

But the star, who’s walked down the aisle three times before, didn’t say yes just yet.

“So I put out the proposal, and it’s still on hold as you can see,” Van said, as Halle laughed.

“It’s just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her.”

Explaining her hesitation, Halle admitted it comes down to her history with marriage.

“Well, I’ve been married three times,” she said. 

“Van has been married once, and so no, we don’t feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don’t.”

Still, she hinted a wedding could happen but only on their terms.

“But I think we will get married just because, out of the people I’ve been married to, this is the person I should have married,” she added.

“And I feel like I should, we should get married, but it’s not because we feel like we have to. I think it’s something that we would like to do just because we want that expression.”

Halle said friends have been rooting for them.

“I think everybody’s been really happy, at least for me personally, people have been like, ‘You finally found…!’ I’ve always wanted what we have,” she said.

“I always saw myself in a committed, loving relationship with like my best friend, someone that I respect and I love.”

Halle shares daughter Nahla, 17, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, and son Maceo, 11, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez, to whom she was married from 2013 to 2016.

She was also previously married to baseball star David Justice from 1993 to 1997 and singer Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005.

Aged 73, the rocker was part of a hugely popular band that had a string of popular albums among rock music fans – but do you recognise him?

Paul Stanley co-founded the band Kiss with Gene Simmons in the 70s with the group becoming known for their raucous and outlandish antics on the stage.

The performer kept it casual for his low-key outing as he was spotted without his trademark Kiss make-up that the band became well known for.

He opted for a simple patterned shirt and a pair of light blue denim jeans as he made his way to Starbucks for his regular coffee order.

Paul flashed a smile as he made his way back to his car carrying his drinks.

You’d be forgiven for not recognising Paul thanks to the star usually sporting heavy theatrical make-up for Kiss.

The star and his bandmates previously explained how in the early 70s New York, the glam rock trend was prevalent with many male rock stars choosing to wear make-up to mirror their female counterparts.

However, Kiss decided to create their own unique looks after confessing it was “unconvincing” that they could don regular make-up.

Speaking of their unique look, Paul’s bandmate Gene Simmons recalled: “At the same time that we were forming in New York, there was a very big glitter scene, where boys were basically acting like girls and putting on makeup.

“Well, we were more like football players — all of us were over 6 feet tall — and it just wasn’t convincing!”

Paul is a father-of-four and shares three children with his wife Erin Sutton.

Paul and Erin wed in 2005 and shared children Sarah, 15, Colin, 18, and Emily, 13, with her.

He also has a son, 30-year-old Evan Stanley, from his failed marriage to first wife, actress Pamela Bowen.

Pamela divorced him in 2001 after nine years of marriage.

GLASTONBURY is in full swing and festival-goers will want to make the most of this year.

Organisers revealed they will be taking a break next year as the festival takes a fallow year.

This is a planned respite where the event does not take place, allowing the farmland to recover.

In turn, this will allow the natural environment at Worthy Farm to regenerate.

Glastonbury takes a hiatus every five years to avoid causing irreparable damage to the working pastures.

“The fallow year is important because it gives the land a rest, it gives the cows a chance to be out for longer and reclaim their land,” co-organiser Emily Eavis told the BBC.

Fallow year

Fallow years are common in agricultural practices, where farmers leave land unplanted to improve soil quality.

This allows the land time to replenish its nutrients, improving it for cattle grazing.

While the festival’s last official fallow year took place in 2018, organisers had to cancel two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid pandemic.

Co-organisers explained that Glastonbury was once again “due a fallow year”.

“Sustainability and the need to live in harmony with the land has always been vital to Glastonbury Festival,” Emily said.

“And I think it’s important because it just gives everybody a little time to just switch off”.

The fallow year also offers a break for the local community in the village of Pilton.

Environmental concerns

To further limit harm to the local environment, organisers have implemented a series of initiatives to reduce any waste left on-site.

A “love the farm, leave no trace” pledge has been introduced, which festival-goers are asked to sign up to when purchasing a festival ticket.

As well as this, single-use plastic plates, cups, mugs, and cutlery have also been banned on site.

Other prohibited items include glass bottles, flares, and Chinese lanterns.

“We are striving to leave as little an imprint on the land here as we possibly can,” said co-organiser Michael Eavis.

“For me, Worthy Farm is what life here is all about.”
