Best casino bonuses for Irish players 🍀

How we evaluate casino bonuses

Casino bonuses are more than the riches they promise. A great offer needs to be easily accessible to all players. That’s why we dig into the details. Doing this allows us to find generous offers for every casino player in Ireland.

The variables we assess are:

  • The amount of bonus money and free spins you get
  • The wagering requirements
  • Special features such as mystery rewards and no deposit bonuses
  • The expiration date
  • Maximum bets and win limits
  • Game contribution weightings

Besides these factors that we mention above, we also consider our overall experience with the casino as presented with our Sun Factor ranking system. You can see our overall score for each casino on a 1 to 5 scale.

We’ll discuss those qualities in more detail as we go through our top picks. For now, just know that we consider a number of variables before recommending a bonus.

The best online casino bonuses in Ireland for new customers

We’ve given you the basics, but now it’s time to dive into the details. The following reviews paint an honest picture of Ireland’s best casino bonuses. As well as telling you why they’re lucrative, we’ll touch on how they could be improved and the way to get maximum value from them.

1. Seven Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: Deposit bonuses up to €7,500
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €7,500
  • Free spins: N/A
  • Free spins value: N/A
  • Wagering requirements: 10x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, and Jeton
  • Winning funds limit: N/A
  • Bonus expiration: N/A

Seven Casino is top of our list because it’s the perfect mix of top-end value and accessibility. The bonus is broken down into four parts:

  • First deposit bonus = 200% up to €250
  • Second deposit bonus = 100% up to €1,000
  • Third deposit bonus = 50% up to €1,250
  • Fourth deposit bonus = 100% up to €5,000

The downside to this deal is that you’ll need to deposit €50 or more for each bonus. That’s a bit higher than the industry average. Another consideration is that your maximum bet with an active bonus is €2.

However, those issues are almost irrelevant when you consider the fact that you get up to €7,500 in bonus credits. Better than that, the playthrough is a measly 10x. That’s significantly lower than the 40x industry average and the reason Seven Casino is home to the best welcome bonus in Ireland.

Seven Casino highlights:

  • Weekly no deposit bonuses
  • Three deposit boosts per week
  • Over 3,000 games, including live casino games

2. LuckyWins Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: €8,000 deposit bonuses + 500 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €8,000
  • Free spins: 500
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, AstroPay, and iDebit
  • Winning funds limit: N/A
  • Bonus expiration: 7 days

New customers can claim five deposit bonuses at LuckyWins Casino. The biggest bonus is released last, which is fine, but it would be nice to get the biggest bankroll boost upfront.

The deposit bonuses are:

  • Make your first deposit to get a €500 match bonus + 100 free spins
  • Use the bonus code LW2ND to get a €500 deposit match + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code LW3RD to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,000 + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code LW4TH to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,000 + 100 free spins
  • Use the bonus code LW5TH to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €5,000 + 200 free spins

The minimum deposit is €30, so it’s over the industry average. The 40x playthrough isn’t, and 7 days is a fair amount of time to clear your bonuses. What’s best about this offer is the fact that you can wager up to €50 on slots and €500 on table games with an active bonus.

That’s significantly higher than the €5 limit imposed by other Irish online casinos. Another highlight is the fact that bonus funds are non-sticky, which means you can opt-out at any time.

LuckyWins highlights:

  • Deposit money to get tickets for €10,000 Lucky Lottery draws
  • Generous referral program worth €50 per sign-up
  • Slot tournaments and super jackpots worth over €1 million

3. SlotBox Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: €1,000 + 125 Free Spins Welcome Package
  • Bonus type: No deposit and deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €1,000
  • Free spins: 125
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 50X bonus funds/25x free spin winnings
  • Payment methods: All available methods except Skrill and Neteller
  • Winning funds limit: N/A
  • Bonus expiration: 7 days

The name gives it away, but SlotBox is one of the top Irish online casinos for slot bonuses. For starters, you get a no deposit bonus worth 25 free spins. From there, the welcome bonus is split into three parts:

  • First deposit offer: €100 deposit match with 100 free spins
  • Second deposit offer: 50% bonus up to €200
  • Third deposit offer: 25% bonus up to €700

Now, you’re probably wondering why SlotBox is our top pick for slot players when other casinos give you more free spins. The answer lies in the wagering conditions. The playthrough on bonus credits is 50x. That’s a bit higher than the industry average.

The playthrough on free spin winnings is 25x. That’s lower than the industry average. What’s more, you’ll have 7 days to hit your targets. Finally, something you don’t see very often is that free spins can be used on the site’s most popular games. This means the line-up is always changing and always entertaining.

SlotBox highlights:

  • Up to €2,000 cashback on net losses every week
  • Unique Slot Exchange loyalty program
  • €8 million in monthly slot jackpot prize drops

4. Karamba Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: 100% up to €500 + 50 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonus
  • Match deposit amount: €500
  • Free spins: 50
  • Free spins value: N/A (Big Bass Splash only)
  • Wagering requirements: 35x (deposit + bonus)
  • Payment methods: All eligible except Skrill and Neteller
  • Winning funds limit: €100 on spins
  • Bonus expiration: Spins: 24h, Bonus funds: 30 days

Karamba’s welcome offer is a simple one: a 100% match up to €500 plus 50 free spins on Big Bass Splash. You only need to deposit €10 to qualify, which is great, but Skrill and Neteller deposits are excluded. Wagering is 35x the combined deposit and bonus amount, which is fair, but winnings on free spins are capped at €100.

We like the fast-loading interface and solid reputation, especially if you want a no-fuss bonus with decent value.

Karamba highlights:

  • Sports and casino in one place
  • Daily bonuses and prize draws
  • MGA licensed and mobile-friendly

5. FortunePlay Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: €5,000 welcome bonus + 300 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €5,000
  • Free spins: 300
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and Skrill
  • Winning funds limit: N/A
  • Bonus expiration: 3 days

FortunePlay offers plenty of added value for new customers thanks to a four-part welcome bonus worth up to €5,000. It all starts with a first deposit match up to €1,000 backed by 100 free spins.

From there, newbies get the following:

  • Use the bonus code FORTUNE2 to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,000 + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code FORTUNE3 to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,500 + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code FORTUNE4 to get a 75% deposit bonus up to €1,500 + 100 free spins

We like the fact you only need to deposit €20 to unlock these offers. The playthrough matches the industry standard of 40x, but we’re not overly happy about the 3-day time limit. That being said, slots have a 100% contribution weighting, so you shouldn’t have too many issues hitting your target.

Pro tip: your free spins can be used on Book of Dead, Mystery Joker, and Legacy of Dead. Of those games, we recommend Legacy of Dead because it has the best RTP (94.51%) and a 5,000x jackpot.

FortunePlay highlights:

  • Next-day cashback and other VIP perks
  • Weekly and themed slot tournaments
  • Sunday free spins reload bonus

6. Rooster Bet Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: Welcome bonus up to €5,000 + 300 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €5,000
  • Free spins: 300
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay
  • Winning funds limit: N/A
  • Bonus expiration: 3 days

Rooster Bet starts strong with a first deposit match bonus worth up to €1,000. That bonus is backed by 100 free spins you can use on John Hunter and the Book of Tut or Book of Cats. Based on your experience, Book of Cats is the better of the two slots.

John Hunter and the Book of Tut has the best RTP (94.5% vs. 94%), but Book of Cats’ jackpot is twice as big as its counterparts at 10,000x. Therefore, if you want maximum value from this offer, play Book of Cats.

Your initial deposit bonus is backed by three more boosts:

  • Use the bonus code ROOSTER2 to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,000 + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code ROOSTER3 to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,500 + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code ROOSTER4 to get a 75% deposit bonus up to €1,500 + 100 free spins

The minimum deposit for each offer is €20, which is great. The 40x playthrough isn’t excessive, but the one thing about the Rooster Bet welcome bonus that could be improved is the 3-day clearing period.

Rooster Bet highlights:

  • 10-tier loyalty program offering up to 20% cashback and other perks
  • Excellent selection of ongoing reload bonuses
  • Play the €10,000 Lucky Spin prize wheel for free

7. Playfina Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: Welcome bonus up to €3,500 + 1,000 spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €1,000
  • Free spins: 600 spins
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, and Paysafecard
  • Winning funds limit: No limit
  • Bonus expiration: 7 days

Playfina’s welcome bonus is as follows:

  • Deposit between €20 and €99 to get a deposit match + 100 free spins

Or

  • Deposit €100 or more to get a deposit match up to €200 + 200 free spins

You’ll need to use the Playfina bonus code FIRST to unlock either of those offers. After that, you can claim two additional bonuses worth up to €800 and 400 free spins.

You’ll know by now that most of Ireland’s top online casinos offer multi-part welcome bonuses. Staggering the offers is fine, but other than the fact that you get more bonus funds, there isn’t much incentive to make multiple deposits.

Playfina bucks this trend by dangling a carrot over the third deposit bonus. That carrot is a mystery prize. If nothing else, an element of mystery makes the bonus fun. We won’t spoil the surprise, but it’s also fair to say that the mystery prize is lucrative.

Playfina highlights:

  • Unique collection of games that includes lottery betting
  • Unlock loot boxes by making deposits
  • Loyalty program offering VIP perks and special bonuses

8. Lukki Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: €4,000 welcome bonus + 300 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €4,000
  • Free spins: 300
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, and Jeton
  • Winning funds limit: €500 from bonus funds/€300 from free spins
  • Bonus expiration: 7 days

Make an initial deposit without a promo code and Lukki Casino gives you a match bonus worth up to €500 + 100 free spins. From there, you’ll need to deposit €20 or more with the following promo codes to get these three deposit bonuses:

  • Use the bonus code LUKKI2 to get a €500 deposit match + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code LUKKI3 to get a 50% deposit bonus up to €1,000 + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code LUKKI4 to get a 25% deposit bonus up to €2,000 + 100 free spins

Overall, there’s a lot of value in this welcome bonus, not least because the free spins can be used on Pragmatic Play’s Gates of Olympus slot. That game has a 5,000x jackpot, but the downside is that you can only win €500 from bonus funds and €300 from free spins.

Lukki Casino highlights:

  • VIP program offering expedited withdrawals and access to special events
  • 10% cashback and diamond drop promotions
  • Excellent collection of live dealer games

9. 24 Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: Welcome bonus up to €3,000 + 350 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €3,000
  • Free spins: 350
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, and EcoPayz
  • Winning funds limit: 2x bonus amount
  • Bonus expiration: 5 days

24 Casino’s first deposit match is conservative compared to its proceeding offers:

  • Make your first deposit to a match bonus worth up to €500 + 150 free spins
  • Use the bonus code 24PACK2 to get a €1,000 deposit match + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code 24PACK3 to get a €500 deposit match + 50 free spins
  • Use the bonus code 24PACK4 to get a €1,000 deposit match + 100 free spins

In terms of wagering conditions, everything is fairly standard. The minimum deposit is €20, you’ll have 7 days to hit your 40x playthrough targets, and free spin wins are capped at 5x.

For us, the most impressive aspect of 24 Casino is its two-part high roller welcome bonus. The wagering conditions are the same as the standard offer, but you can get up to €5,000 in bonus funds, as well as 200 free spins, if you deposit €500 or more.

24 Casino highlights:

  • Choose your own bonuses every week
  • Weekly free spins reload bonuses
  • Bet fiat or cryptocurrency to claim bonuses

10. CasiGO Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: €1,100 in bonus cash and 375 bonus spins across four deposits
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €1,100
  • Free spins: 375
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 35x
  • Payment methods: All available methods except Skrill and Neteller
  • Winning funds limit: N/A
  • Bonus expiration: 30 days

CasiGO is our top pick for low-stakes players because its four welcomes bonuses have a minimum deposit limit of just €10:

  • First deposit bonus = 200% up to €200 + 100 free spins on Book of Dead
  • Second deposit bonus = 50% up to €200 + 50 free spins on Book of Dead
  • Third deposit bonus = 75% up to €200 + 75 free spins on Book of Dead
  • Fourth deposit bonus = 125% up to €500 + 150 free spins on Book of Dead

Another aspect of the CasiGO welcome bonus that should appeal to recreational players is the 200% multiplier. Very few online casinos in Ireland offer this, so don’t take it for granted.

The 35x playthrough is also lower than the industry average, and you’ll have 30 days to hit your targets. Our only issue with this offer is the fact that table game bets don’t contribute to your playthrough target.

CasiGO highlights:

  • VIP Club offering cashback, personalised rewards, enhanced withdrawals and more
  • Has a unique bonus for each day of the week
  • Streamlined mobile-first design

11. LeoVegas Casino bonus review

  • Full casino bonus offer: €1,000 deposit match + 200 free spins
  • Bonus type: Deposit bonuses
  • Match deposit amount: €1,000
  • Free spins: 200
  • Free spins value: €0.10
  • Wagering requirements: 40x
  • Payment methods: All eligible, including Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, and Paysafecard
  • Winning funds limit: Not stated
  • Bonus expiration: 7 days

LeoVegas has one of the lowest barriers to entry thanks to a minimum deposit requirement of €10 for its €1,000 match bonus. The 40x playthrough could be slightly lower, but you will have 7 days to hit your target.

What’s best about LeoVegas is the fact that you can choose an alternative bonus if slots aren’t your thing. In addition to the sports betting bonus, LeoVegas has a live casino welcome bonus. The first deposit match gives you up to €500 to play interactive live games such as Immersive Roulette Deluxe and Bet Stacker Blackjack.

LeoVegas highlights:

  • Huge jackpot bonuses worth more than €20 million
  • Get free spins by taking part in social media competitions
  • Reputable operator with its own casino games

Types of bonuses

Knowing where to find the latest online casino bonuses is important, but only if you know what to look for when you get there.

The following list highlights the various ways you can get bonus funds at our top-rated casinos and, more importantly, how to get maximum value from each one.

Welcome bonuses

A welcome bonus is….an offer available to new customers who successfully create a new account using our registration link/promo code.

The majority of welcome bonuses are deposit-based, which means you unlock spins and/or casino credits by adding funds to your account.

Some welcome offers are no-deposit bonuses. These promotions are often referred to as sign-up bonuses because you receive spins and/or casino credit for successfully completing the registration process.

Almost all welcome bonuses have playthrough targets, which means you’ll need to wager your own money to convert free credits to withdrawable cash. Naturally, the best welcome offers have low playthrough targets (i.e. below 40x).

Who are welcome bonuses for? Welcome bonuses are for new customers. They’re a way for online casino operators to attract new customers. Bonus funds and/or slot spins allow newbies to try a new online casino with less risk than they would otherwise be exposed to.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from your welcome bonus

Always check the wagering requirements linked to welcome bonuses. Some offers require you to enter a promo code during the registration process or before making an initial deposit. Similarly, you might be excluded from a bonus if you deposit money via an eWallet.

Once you’ve unlocked the bonus, play slots. These games have the best contribution weighting, which means more of your money goes towards hitting the playthrough target.

Deposit bonuses and deposit match bonuses

A deposit bonus is….a reward for players who add funds to their account. Deposit bonuses are always a multiple of your transaction’s value.

For example, a 100% deposit bonus is also known as a deposit match bonus because the reward is equal to 100% of your transaction’s value. A 150% deposit bonus is worth 1.5x the transaction’s value, and so on.

Who are deposit bonuses for? Deposit bonuses are for all players. First deposit bonuses are for new customers. Deposit bonuses for existing customers are known as reload bonuses.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from your deposit bonus

The best way to get maximum value from deposit bonuses is to add the maximum amount of money to your account.

So, if a casino offers you a 100% match bonus up to £200, make sure your first deposit is worth £200. The important caveat here is that you should only deposit what you can afford to lose.

Loyalty program

A loyalty program is….a system through which you earn points based on the amount you wager. These points are used to determine your VIP status and unlock more perks.

The best casino loyalty programs allow you to convert points to cash, as well as bonuses such as free spins, deposit offers, and exclusive prizes.

Who are loyalty programs for? Online casino loyalty programs are for everyone, but it’s active players who get the most value from them.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from a loyalty program

Activity and consistency are the best ways to profit from online casino loyalty programs because the rewards directly correlate with the amount you wager.

We’re not saying you should play recklessly and gamble more than you can afford to lose. However, if you stick to your betting limits, the amount of added value you get increases in line with the amount you play.

Free spins

A free spins bonus is….an offer that gives you the chance to play slots without spending your own money.

The majority of free spin bonuses are linked to specific slots. That means you can only use the spins on the nominated slots. Another wagering requirement that people often overlook when it comes to slot bonuses is the spin value.

All top-rated online casinos set their own spin values, but the average is between €0.10 and €0.20. Closely linked to those values are profit caps. It’s rare to find offers without a win cap, so look for promotions that let you win upwards of €100 from your free spins.

Who are free spins bonuses for? Anyone can claim free spins bonuses, but they’re obviously most suited to people who enjoy slots.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from free slot spins

Choose slots with high RTP values and large jackpots if you can. Sometimes, you won’t have a choice. However, if you can use your free spins on a selection of online slots, focus on the ones with the best RTP values and payouts.

No deposit bonuses

A no deposit bonus is….a reward that’s not linked to a financial transaction. Bets can technically be classed as financial transactions, but we’re only taking it to mean deposits in this context.

Who are no deposit bonuses for? No deposit bonuses are for savvy casino players who want to get something for almost nothing. We say “almost nothing” because there will be wagering requirements.

For example, no deposit sign-up bonuses can only be withdrawn once you’ve hit a playthrough target. Similarly, loyalty rewards, which are a type of no deposit bonus, can only be unlocked by earned points. You only earn points by wagering money.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from your no deposit bonus

No deposit bonuses are ideal for casino players who want to try before they buy. The process is simple:

  1. Use our registration links to claim a no deposit casino bonus.
  2. Use the free casino credits to play games and test out the site.

Once you’ve completed those steps, you can walk away if you don’t like the site. Alternatively, if you like the casino, you can deposit money, play some real money games, and convert your bonus to cash.

No wagering bonuses

A no wagering bonus is….a reward that doesn’t have any post-collection wagering requirements.

No wagering promotions are the holy grail of casino bonuses because the rewards are paid in cash. That means you don’t have to jump through any hoops or hit a playthrough target to release a profit from the bonus.

Who are no wagering bonuses for? Everyone can and should claim no wagering bonuses. These offers are rare in today’s online gambling economy, so don’t pass up an opportunity to claim one.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from no wagering bonuses

The only thing you need to do with no wagering bonuses is complete the steps required to claim the offer. If you need to play a specific game or deposit a certain amount, do it. As long as you follow a few simple rules, you’ll receive a cash bonus you can withdraw whenever you like.

Cashback bonuses

A cashback bonus is….a rebate based on the amount of money you’ve wagered or lost over a specific period of time.

Who are cashback bonuses for? Everyone who opts into a cashback promotion gets a rebate. Rebates are usually issued in cash if they’re based on a net loss. Cashback bonuses based on your wagering activity are usually issued as free casino credit.

💡 Pro tip: How to get maximum value from cashback casino bonuses

Cashback bonuses usually run for a limited amount of time, so make sure you’re active when they’re available.

If you’re able to recoup a percentage of any losses incurred during a specific period of time, our tip is to play high-volatility slots. These games pay less often than low-volatility slots, but the average amount you win per payout is higher.

Essentially, they’re higher-risk, higher-reward casino games. If you’re returned a percentage of your net loss back via a cashback promotion, it can be a good time to play higher-risk games.

What to look out for when choosing a casino bonus

We all get blinded by flashy banners promising big bonuses, but the truth is that details matter. A casino bonus that looks lucrative on the surface could be almost worthless when you read its wagering requirements.

That’s why we’re sticklers for detail. One or two excessive wagering requirements can make it almost impossible to unlock your bonus funds. Even worse, you might be locked into a position where you can’t make withdrawals or play certain games because you’ve got an active bonus.

We don’t want that to happen, so here’s how to assess the true value of online casino bonuses:

1. How much do you have to deposit and/or wager to release a bonus?

Make sure you know how much money you need to deposit and/or wager to unlock a bonus. As well as knowing the amount required to claim a bonus, take note of the playthrough target. This tells you how much you need to wager to convert the bonus to withdrawable cash.

The best online casino bonuses in Ireland have low minimum deposit limits and playthrough targets. Any offer with a €10 minimum deposit and playthrough target somewhere close to 40x is considered generous.

Bonuses with better wagering requirements are exceptional. A bonus that falls into this category is Seven Casino’s welcome offer. The minimum deposit is €50 but the playthrough is a paltry 10x.

2. Are all casino games treated equally when it comes to hitting playthrough targets?

Linked to the above point is the concept of contribution weightings. We’ve used this term a couple of times already, but what does it mean?

A contribution weighting determines how much of your bet goes towards the playthrough target. A 100% weighting means that 100% of your bet goes towards the target. A 50% weighting means half of your bet goes towards the playthrough target and so on.

Slots almost always have a 100% contribution weighting. Table games are between 5% and 20%. Live games are usually 10%, and scratchcards often have a 100% weighting. Casino games can also have a 0% weighting, so look out for those in the terms.

We recommend bonuses that don’t exclude an entire category of casino games. Additionally, look for promotions with generous contribution weightings (around 20%) for low house-edge games such as baccarat and blackjack.

3. Do you need to use a special link or promo code to activate an offer?

It’s often the case that you’ll need to use a specific sign-up link and/or promo code to unlock exclusive welcome bonuses. Our links are a perfect example of this. Join Seven Casino using our link, and you’ll receive an exclusive welcome bonus worth up to €7,500.

In addition to using links and promo codes, you may need to activate certain promotions. You typically do this by logging into your account, going to the promo page and tapping the “opt-in” button.

4. Is there a time limit on the bonus?

Operators limit the amount of time you’ve got to claim a bonus and hit a playthrough target. Most welcome bonuses are available for 7 days after creating an account. Clearing periods (i.e. the time you’ve got to hit a playthrough target) range from 7 to 30 days.

Naturally, the more time you’ve got to clear a bonus, the better it is. CasiGO gives you 30 days to clear your €1,100 match bonus, which is why it’s ideal for recreational players.

5. Are there any other limits or restrictions?

Some casino operators limit the amount you can wager when you’ve got an active bonus. You might also come up against other restrictions, such as an inability to play certain games and make withdrawals.

We don’t like promotions that limit what you can do with an active bonus. For clarity, you forfeit bonuses by requesting withdrawals before hitting playthrough targets. That’s fair.

What’s not fair, however, is blocking withdrawals when you’ve got an active bonus. In our view, you should have the right to remove yourself from a promotion whenever you want.

How to claim and use a casino bonus

Here’s how to claim the best online casino bonuses in Ireland. We’ll use our top pick, Seven Casino, to outline the steps involved, but the process is almost identical at other Irish gambling sites:

  1. Use our secure link to open the Seven Casino registration page.
  2. Tap “Sign-Up” to open the registration form.
  3. Enter your details, including name, date of birth, and address.
  4. Tap the email link to verify your account and complete the registration process.
  5. Log into your account, open the cashier page, and make a deposit to claim your first bonus.

Advantages of a casino bonus

Gambling is full of twists and turns. One minute, the gaming gods are on your side; the next minute they’re not. Casino bonuses are the best way to mitigate the ups and downs of gambling because they provide additional funds to play games.

As long as you comply with the terms and conditions, operators honour their bonus offers. That’s why savvy gamblers claim as many bonuses as possible. The trick, of course, is claiming the right bonuses.

We’ve shown you where to find the best online casino bonuses in Ireland. We’ve also given you the necessary knowledge to assess the latest offers and find the right ones for you. Get that right, and you’ll stand a much better chance of maximising your EV each time you play casino games online.

FAQ

There are no stupid questions when it comes to anything gambling-related. We covered the most important aspects of casino bonuses, but some of you might not be clear on a few things. That’s OK. We want you to leave here feeling 100% confident, so let’s tie up some loose ends.

1. Can I claim a casino welcome bonus more than once?

No, you can only claim a welcome bonus once. Despite only being able to claim welcome bonuses once, you can, in fact, claim multiple welcome bonuses. You do this by joining multiple online casinos. As long as you’re a new customer, there’s nothing wrong with joining a selection of casino sites so you can get their welcome offers.

2. Are casino bonuses safe?

Yes, online casino bonuses are safe if they’re being offered by a licensed gambling operator. Licensed operators must meet strict standards when it comes to safety, integrity and fairness. As part of this commitment to offering a legitimate service, casino operators must provide clear terms for all bonuses. Operators must also honour bonuses in accordance with the terms and conditions.

3. What is a casino bonus code?

A casino bonus code, also known as a promo code, is a series of letters and/or numbers used to activate a promotion. Bonus codes are usually entered during the registration process or on the cashier page before your first deposit. Failure to enter the correct code when required will result in you not receiving the bonus.

4. How are cashback bonuses calculated?

Cashback bonuses are based on your net loss, or the amount of money wagered over a specific period of time. Cashback bonuses for net losses use the following equation: wagers + deposits – losses. Basically, if you’ve lost more than you’ve won, you’ll receive a rebate. Cashback bonuses based on the amount you’ve wagered often take into account the RTP of games you’ve played. The amount you get back depends on the overall average RTP, i.e. the lower the RTP, the more cashback you get.

Heartbroken trainer Warren Greatrex opens up on the tragic deaths of three stable lads at his yard in just four years

HEARTBROKEN trainer Warren Greatrex has bravely opened up on the deaths of three young workers at his yard – remembering them all as ‘great lads’.

The Lambourn-based jumps trainer has had to be a father figure and counsellor for those rocked by the suicides of Michael Pitt, David Thompson and, most recently, Billy Moffatt.

The Lambourn-based, Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer, said he considers himself a father figure to everyone who works for him – and worrying about them rather than himself is the only way to deal with such devastating losses

Pitt was just 19 and a promising amateur jockey when he took his own life in July 2021.

Greatrex, who had just moved to his Rhonehurst yard at the time, described the soul-crushing experience as ‘horrible’.

Just seven months later, in February 2022, popular stable lad Thompson, 25, was found dead.

The huge Chelsea fan, who was reported missing in the days prior, had written a letter saying the happiest days of his life had been working for Greatrex, who said the second death ‘hit me so hard’.

Then in May this year, Moffatt, who was in his early 20s, was found dead in his accommodation – the third death in just four years.

Greatrex, a Cheltenham Festival-winning trainer, admitted he ‘never thought’ he would have to go through such shock and pain.

He told Luck on Sunday on Racing TV the passing of all three and the devastating impact on those who worked alongside them every day was still ‘raw’.

And he said to know the lads you would have had absolutely no idea any were struggling to the extent they were.

Explaining the magnitude of the losses and how best he tried to deal with it, an emotional Greatrex said: “I am the trainer so when I have a member of staff I am like a father figure as well.

“Parents entrust you to look after their children.

“I do feel responsible and all I am, and have been worried about, is everyone else.

“I never thought I’d have a situation like this.

“Even now it’s tough to talk about – but in the situation all you are worried about is everyone else.

“None of those three lads you would have had any idea that they would do that.

“All three lads were really good young men. They were funny, good to be around.

“Billy was a larger-than-life Newcastle lad who touched a lot of people because he was great fun to be around.

“But there aren’t any signs.”

Greatrex also spoke about the stresses and strains of working in the sport and how charity Racing Welfare have helped.

He said while ‘no words can describe the devastation’ of the deaths, Racing Welfare were at his yard ‘within minutes’ to offer support to those coming to terms with the losses.

His words pleading for more to be done with alcohol and drugs in racing came just days after champion jockey Oisin Murphy was charged with drink-driving ahead of his appearance at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Greatrex continued: “I think when you’re surrounded by young people there will be times when there will be drinking, there will be drug use – that’s just the way of the world now unfortunately.

“Maybe there is a way that people can recognise it (drug use) and help people with what they can and can’t do, or at least guide them in the right direction.

You're Not Alone

EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide

It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.

It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.

And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.

Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.

That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.

The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.

Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.

If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

“I always find when a member of staff comes into the yard I am responsible.

“But when they leave the yard I can’t keep an eye on them and have their back or look after them all the time.

“There will be times when members of staff come to speak to me or someone else senior like Tessa my wife, and of course we always do our best to help them.

“But when they leave the yard I am helpless.

“Still, I want them to be able to come to me.

“I am a father and when my children go anywhere, or to other yards, you want them to be looked after and navigated in the right direction.”

Greatrex will take part in a marathon hike in support of Racing Welfare on Sunday – donate to their cause HERE.

Wimbledon slammed over ‘terrible decision’ involving Taylor Fritz by ESPN analyst and ex-US star

WIMBLEDON organizers came under fire for a controversial decision involving Taylor Fritz.

The No. 5 seed American was involved in a first-round battle with Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Fritz won a dramatic fourth set tie-break to level the match at two sets apiece.

He and his opponent were then approached by a tournament referee shortly after 10.15 pm local time.

And a decision was made to stop the match despite there being more than 40 minutes of time available.

It was deemed that the match might not finish before the curfew.

And stopping before the fifth set began rather than potentially interrupting it at 11 pm was the preferred option.

Fritz showed his unhappiness on court having just fought back from two sets down to wrestle momentum.

The US star will have to return to No. 1 Court Tuesday to play to a finish.

ESPN’s coverage from The All England Club began at 6 am ET on Tuesday.

Former Wimbledon semifinalist Sam Querrey, 37, joined Patrick McEnroe and Rennae Stubbs in the studio.

“I think it was about 10.17 pm,” Querrey noted on the timing of the postponement.

“You can play until 11 pm here with the curfew.

“Terrible decision,” the former world No. 11 said.

“To go out and say ‘we might not finish the fifth set’.

“You can’t make the decision based on a hypothetical

“One of them could have won the fifth set 6-2 in 30 minutes.”

The US star was two sets down in a game that was moved onto No. 1 Court.

Officials took a decision to start the game under the roof at shortly after 7 pm local time.

The move was made to avoid a delay in closing the roof if the game went beyond 9 pm and daylight faded.

Play can continue on Centre Court and No. 1 Court until an 11 pm curfew.

Fritz and Mpetshi Perricard follow No. 1 seed Jannik Sinner onto court on Tuesday to complete their game.

Doomed ‘graveyard’ space capsule stuffed with ‘remains of 166 dead humans’ & cannabis plants ‘lost at sea’ after crash

A SPACE capsule carrying the remains of 166 people and a bounty of cannabis plants has been lost at sea following a surprise crash.

The Nyx capsule, built by German aerospace startup The Exploration Company, launched on 23 June from atop a SpaceX rocket.

All of its cargo has been lost at sea[/caption]

But the rideshare mission – where several companies pay for space aboard the capsule for their payloads – has gone awry after going missing.

It’s not just any payload either – but the ashes and DNA of 166 people who had signed up for a cosmic funerary service with Celestis, a Texas-based memorial spaceflight company.

The flight, dubbed “Mission Possible”, achieved orbit and a controlled reentry into Earth’s atmosphere.

However, the capsule’s landing parachutes failed to deploy – causing it to crash in the Pacific Ocean on 24 June.

All of its cargo has been lost at sea.

This was The Exploration Company’s first attempt at sending customer payloads to space, equivalent to roughly 300 kg (660 lbs) of cargo.

In a statement on LinkedIn, the company wrote: “The capsule was launched successfully, powered the payloads nominally in-orbit, stabilised itself after separation with the launcher, re-entered and re-established communication after black out.

“But it encountered an issue afterwards, based on our current best knowledge, and we lost communication a few minutes before splashdown.

“We apologise to all our clients who entrusted us with their payloads.”

The company said it is still investigating the root causes of the crash as it prepares for its next flight.

“This partial success reflects both ambition and the inherent risks of innovation,” the company wrote.

“Leveraging the technical milestones achieved yesterday and the lessons we will extract from our ongoing investigation, we will then prepare to re-fly as soon as possible.”

Space funerary services, offered by companies like Celestis and Aura Flights, involve sending cremated remains into space.

These services offer various options, including suborbital flights, orbital flights, and even grave plots on the Moon.

This is the second time Celestis has lost a payload.

In 2023, a rocket containing the cremated remains of the late Nasa astronaut Philip K. Chapman exploded over New Mexico.

Celestis also released a statement to the families of the people whose remains were lost: “In the coming days, our team will reach out to each family individually to offer support and discuss possible next steps.

“Though we currently believe that we cannot return the flight capsules, we hope families will find some peace in knowing their loved ones were part of a historic journey, launched into space, orbited Earth, and are now resting in the vastness of the Pacific, akin to a traditional and honored sea scattering.”

Alongside the human remains and other payloads, Nyx also carried cannabis plant matter and seeds provided by Martian Grow, an open-source citizen science project.

The purpose was to study the effects of microgravity on the germination and resilience of plants.

The project aims to understand how plant life could adapt on Mars.
