BEYONCE sparked sheer terror among fans in her native Texas after a “scary” mid-air mishap on a show prop.
The Halo hitmaker, 43, was left tilting in space as her red Cadillac – which was suspended in space – skewed to one side.

Beyonce, whose Cowboy Carter tour arrived at the NRG Stadium in Houston last night, delighted fans as she kicked off with Ameriican Requiem followed by a cover of The Beatles classic Blackbird.
Yet in the final segment of proceedings, and after an appearance from her daughter Blue Ivy and the track Legacy playing out on tape, things turned sour.
During her performance of 16 Carriages, Bey hopped into a red car which was then suspended into the air.
She pulled on a silver cowboy hat and waved an American flag for her in-air adventures, yet was forced to halt the song as the vehicle leaned dangerously to one side.
The If I Were A Boy vocalist then paused her lyrics to shout: “Stop. Stop, stop, stop.”
The crowd paused in anticipation before bursting into cheers as the vehicle – attached to a series of cables – was brought down to solid ground.
Like a pro, Beyonce continued the song then told her adoring fans: “I wanna thank y’all, for loving me.
“If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.”
The Sun has gone to Beyonce’s reps for comment.
As the incident unfolded, fans expressed their fears on X.
One wrote: “The fact that Beyoncé almost fell out that car suspended in the air…. Yo I would’ve lost my s**t!”
A second put: “I KNEWWWWW that car was gonna do some s**t one concert omg so happy she’s okay tho.”
A third mused: “Whoever messed up #beyonce car set up is getting fired from a CANNON.”
Another remarked: “We could have lost @Beyonce tonight if that car that she was in would have fell on stage, thank god that she is safe.”
One then pleaded: “BEYONCÉ! No More Car I Mean It.”
Overall, Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter tour has been a visual extravaganza for her fans, showcasing the star in an array of outfits, performing with her daughters and even grinding on a bull.
She has also floated over the crowds while perched in a moving horse shoe.
She is then expected to follow up the project – which kicked off in Los Angelesin April – with another album next year, after announcing that Renaissance and Cowboy Carter were part of a trilogy.
On her website in 2022, she confirmed: “This three-act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic.
“A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative.”
TOUR TEASE
During Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter UK tour dates, the star appeared to drop a huge clue she was considering re-locating.
It came as she was allegedly seen viewing land in theCotswoldscountryside with rapper husband Jay-Z, 55.
Beyonce reportedly took a helicopter ride with her spouse, with whom she shares three kids, to get a better look at the Oxfordshire pile.
The land supposedly spanned 58 acres and a source told The Oxford Mail: “In the past week, Beyonce and Jay-Z flew via helicopter between her London gigs to view a 58-acre plot of land.
“Located close to friends Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, and with Simon Cowell and the Beckhams as neighbours, she felt it would be an ideal UK home for her family, away from the city when they’re in the country.”

HOLLYWOOD actor Jamie Dornan was seen backstage at Glastonbury partying with Irish rap group Kneecap as police investigate politically charged moments during their set and another by Bobby Vylan.

AFPBobby Vylan of British duo Bob Vylan chanted ‘death, death, to the IDF’ as the crowd joined in[/caption]
An unexpected celebrity endorsement came from Jamie as The Robin Hood star, from Northern Ireland, posed backstage with the band made up of rappers Mo Chara and Móglaí Bap, and DJ Próvaí.
They performed shortly after punk duo Bob Vylan also stirred controversy, with frontman Bobby Vylan shouting “Death, death, to the IDF” during a live-streamed BBC broadcast.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed on X that they are reviewing footage from both sets: “We are aware of the comments made by acts on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury Festival this afternoon.
“Video evidence will be assessed by officers to determine whether any offences may have been committed that would require a criminal investigation.”
The BBC declined to stream Kneecap’s performance live, citing editorial standards, though one audience member live streamed it in full on TikTok.
The band also led anti-Keir Starmer chants after he called for them to be axed from the Glastonbury line-up.
However, many fans waved pro-Palestinian banners and wore themed face paint in support.
The West Holts stage was temporarily closed due to fears of overcrowding, with festival organisers issuing a “no access” warning shortly before Kneecap’s 4pm performance.
The decision not to broadcast the set live follows mounting political pressure.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer had previously called for the Irish group to be banned from the festival altogether.
The controversy was further fuelled by footage of rapper JJ Ó Dochartaigh (Móglaí Bap) wearing a T-shirt referencing Palestine Action — a group the UK government has discussed banning as a terrorist organisation under the Terrorism Act 2000 after they spray painted RAF planes red.
Home Secretary Yvette Cooper has the authority to proscribe organisations she deems “concerned in terrorism.”

JONATHAN ROWE has gone from England mascot to Three Lions hero.
He thought he had already lived the dream aged nine.
GettyJonathan Rowe has had an incredible rise from England mascot to European champion[/caption]

GettyRowe made his real breakthrough at Norwich in 2023[/caption]
GettyHe was then snapped up by Ligue 1 side Marseille in a £17m deal[/caption]
Rowe not only accompanied David Luiz out in front of a packed Wembley, but he got to watch Frank Lampard secure England a 2-1 victory over Brazil.
He called that day in 2013, also his first time visiting Wembley, his favourite memory supporting England.
Fast-forward 12 years later and it’s the now 22-year-old who is the matchwinner after his extra-time header downed Germany.
Back then the forward was playing for AFC Wembley, but his first big break came when Norwich snapped him up in 2014.
But life was tough. Rowe, just 11, was struggling to juggle a three-hour daily commute from London to East Anglia as well as looking after his ill mother and helping to bring up his sister.
It didn’t get any easier. He was blighted by injuries over the following years as he battled Osgood-Schlatter disease – a common cause of knee pain.
Though not even all of that can stop our boy Rowe.
In 2021, his first-team debut for the Canaries arrived and in the 2023/24 campaign he enjoyed his breakthrough.

Rowe scored 13 goals as Norwich reached the Championship play-off semi-finals.
That caught the eye of French giants Marseille, and he was soon waving “Au Revoir” to Carrow Road for a new adventure on the French Riviera for £17million.
But with a fresh chapter comes new challenges – and Rowe admits he’s struggled.
He started just six of his 22 Ligue 1 appearances.
But the move away for Rowe has again come with challenges.
He started just six league games last season, with 22 more appearances coming from the bench and he admits he worried whether that would cost him a place in Lee Carsley’s squad for this tournament in Slovakia.
Rowe, who will have Marseille new boy and fellow England U21 star CJ Egan-Riley as a team-mate next term, said: “There were times where I thought there is a lot of talent and a lot of competition, healthy competition.
“But I always back myself. I had to make sure I was here and I think I showed tonight why.
“The last camp before this I wasn’t picked for it and it’s those type of things that kind of get to you sometimes.
“You have got to look at the bigger picture and make sure that you prove yourself again and I fortunately got to do that.
“I got in the squad and I’m so glad I could help the team win this trophy once again.”

AFTER years of travelling to Spain almost monthly, I’ve learnt where to go if you want to dodge the crowds, eat well, and actually feel like you’re a local.
There are loads of places that Spaniards head to on holiday that most Brits don’t even know exist.
AlamySometimes steering away from the tourist hotspots in Spain can led you to a hidden gem[/caption]
Lee BellLee says Spain is still a great holiday destination if you want fewer crowds as long as you know where to go[/caption]
Google MapsGreat destinations to visit (l-r), El Palmar, Ronda, Toledo and Tossa[/caption]
These aren’t just quiet villages in the middle of nowhere; they’re lively, packed with culture, good food, and beautiful views.
So, if you’re up for something different, forget Benidorm and Barcelona.
Check out these places that are not only less touristy but cheaper and brimming with proper Spanish charm.
Inland Málaga: Ronda, Ardales and Antequera
Most people landing in Málaga do the same thing – head straight to the coast and barely leave the beach for a week. And I don’t blame them.
But if it’s a change of pace you’re after, drive just an hour inland and you’ll hit one of Spain’s most underrated regions.
This area around Ronda, Ardales, and Antequera is what I’d call proper Spain – it’s beautiful, full of history, and still mostly untouched by British tourists.
Start in Ronda, a stunning town split in two by a huge gorge, with a stone bridge linking both sides.
It’s dramatic and buzzing with local life. And while you’ll find some tourists here, they’re mostly Spanish, so it still feels super authentic.
There are endless tapas bars, cosy restaurants, and shady squares where people actually live.
Nearby Ardales is tiny but charming, and right next to the Caminito del Rey, a jaw-dropping walkway is pinned to the cliffs above a turquoise river.
It used to be known as the most dangerous hike in Spain, but now it’s safe, stunning, and one of the best things I’ve done in the country.
Finally, it’s worth checking out Antequera – a small city packed with churches, castles and even prehistoric tombs older than the pyramids.
This is the sort of place that doesn’t shout about itself, but everywhere you go, there’s something to see.
You can easily visit all three towns over a long weekend, and you’ll come home wondering why more people don’t.
The real Costa Brava: Tossa, Canyelles and Sant Feliu
Barcelona is my usual go-to for a Spanish city break. It’s got great food, culture and nightlife, but going in the summer months can be a bit chaotic.
After a couple of days, I like to bolt on a more chilled trip up the coast. A quick coach ride north gets you to the Costa Brava.
Most package holidays land in Lloret de Mar – but swerve this if you want to dodge the Brits abroad. Just beyond it are spots more locals go to, like Tossa de Mar.
Lee BellArdales is tiny but charming and right next to the Caminito del Rey, say travel writer Lee Bell[/caption]
While not undiscovered, Tossa has managed to hang on to its charm and still far more popular with Spanish families than Brits.
It’s got a proper Catalan feel, with a castle overlooking the beach, a cobbled old town and plenty of family-run restaurants serving authentic local food.
Tucked between Lloret and Tossa is Platja de Canyelles, a small cove that feels like a completely different world.
It’s mostly used by Spanish second-homers, so you’ll find plenty of peaceful spots and not one sign in English.
The beach is quiet, the water’s super clear, and there’s just enough going on to keep you fed, watered and content.
Sant Feliu de Guíxols is further up, and ideal if you want a bit more of a local town vibe.
It’s got a proper promenade, a big marina, and a town centre for a spot of local shopping – and not just souvenir shops.
AlamySant Feliu is great for shoppers wanting to explore a town[/caption]
Locals come here for weekend breaks, so the restaurants are authentic and the prices aren’t inflated. It’s also a great base for walking, relaxing, or activities like kayaking and snorkelling.
This part of the Costa Brava is a great choice for those who prefer to mix up their holiday itineraries from the usual sunbathing on the beach.
The Cádiz Coast: El Palmar, Zahara de los Atunes and Tarifa
When most people think of southern Spain, they picture the Costa del Sol – with packed beaches, bustling nightlife and loud resorts like those in Marbella, Benalmádena or Torremolinos.
But head west to the Cádiz coast and it’s a completely different story.
This stretch of coast is all about surf towns, local food and relaxed beach life without the crowds. It’s where Spaniards go to unwind – and the best bit? Most Brits don’t know about it.
El Palmar has to be my all-time favourite beach here. It might not be easy to get to (you’ll need to get a bus or hire a car to get to it) but it’s worth the effort.
It’s known for its wide open beach and Bohemian surfer vibe that’s almost impossible to find anywhere else in Spain. There’s a reason why they nicknamed it “Cadizfornia”.
There are no big hotels or chains here, either, just beach bars, surf schools and Spanish families enjoying the sun.
AlamyThe Cadiz coast is a great alternative to the Costa del Sol[/caption]
While El Palmar can get a little windy, the sunsets are unreal, and the seafood is super fresh. It feels like a Spanish secret you never want to leave.
If you do leave, you can head down the coast to Zahara de los Atunes, a fishing village that turns into a lively summer spot.
It’s got some of the best beaches in the region with proper seafood restaurants, hitting that sweet spot of happening but not hectic. In the evenings, the beach bars light up and it feels like one big local party – without the cheesy tourist traps.
Top things off with a stop at Tarifa – Europe’s southernmost town, where the Atlantic crashes into the Med. Expect narrow streets, music-filled bars, and plenty of activities for adventure lovers, such as kite surfing.
Fancy a break from the beach? Head inland for a day in Jerez de la Frontera – where sherry comes from.
You can tour the old sherry bodegas with a tasting tour, catch a live flamenco show, or just sit outside a local bar with a cold fino and a plate of jamón. It’s cheap, full of character, and barely touched by foreigners.
Day trips from Madrid: Toledo, Cuenca and Segovia
If you’re planning a trip to Madrid for a city break, don’t just stick to the city. There are plenty of day trips you can do, which I love – and all less than an hour by train.
Packed with history, and strangely overlooked by Brits, the tiny cities of Toledo, Cuenca and Segovia each offer a proper taste of old Spain without the crowds.
As Spain’s former capital, Toledo is the better known of the three. Locals from Madrid head here for a weekend of food and wandering.
Lee BellToleda[/caption]
Perched on a hill and wrapped in a river, it’s full of quaint winding streets, ancient churches and views for days. You can spend hours getting lost in the old town, ducking into bars, or sitting in shady plazas with a glass of vino.
Cuenca is smaller and quieter, but it’s still got the wow factor.
Built on the edge of a deep gorge, with old houses called “Casas Colgadas”, which are literally hanging off the cliffs, it feels like something out of a fairytale.
You can walk across the (quite scary) San Pablo bridge for epic views, explore quirky galleries and museums, and stop for lunch in the sun with barely a tourist in sight. It’s peaceful, colourful and unique – the kind of place that feels untouched.
Finally, there’s Segovia, which has to be the most photogenic of the three thanks to its massive Roman aqueduct – one of the best preserved in the world – and a castle that supposedly inspired Disney’s sitting high on the edge of town.
Segovia also has a top-notch food scene, being famous for “cochinillo” – a must-try, melt-in-the-mouth roast suckling pig dish.
All three are easy to reach from the capital and feel a world away from the usual Brits abroad scene – with the bonus of being back in Madrid by bedtime.

POLICE in Co Down are investigating this morning after the discovery of a woman’s body at a property in the county.
The discovery was made at a property in the Elmfield Walk area of Donaghadee.
The PSNI have confirmed they are investigating all circumstances surrounding the sudden death.
Part of the street remains cordoned off as investigations continue.
It is understood officers were at the scene on Saturday evening and remained on site overnight.

In a statement police said: “Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a woman at a property in the Elmfield Walk area of Donaghadee.
