Andrew Tate escapes charges for allegedly assaulting ex Bri Stern after model accused him of choking her during sex

ANDREW Tate has escaped further criminal charges after he was accused of violently choking his ex-girlfriend during sex.

Model Bri Stern, 25, alleged the disgraced British influencer attacked her on March 11 while the pair were staying in Beverly Hills Hotel together.

The latest in a string of serious allegations lobbied against Tate was rejected by US courts due to ‘insufficient evidence’[/caption]

The latest in a string of serious allegations lobbied against Tate, 38, was rejected by US courts due to “insufficient evidence”.

Tate’s attorney Joseph McBride announced the prosecution had dropped the sexual harassment and battery cases online.

He celebrated the decision by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office as a “huge win”.

McBride also claimed it proved they had been able to “expose lies” from Stern – despite the case being dropped rather than cleared.

The attorney added that Tate had responded to the allegations when asked and vehemently denied them.

He also supplied a “do-not-prosecute” packet of information urging prosecutors not to pursue charges, according to McBride.

Sources close to Stern say she was never notified of the decision to decline charges, TMZ reports.

She has also filed a complaint with the Beverly Hills Police Department and is seeking a restraining order against Tate.

Stern first claimed back in March that her face and body has been left bruised by Tate when he “attacked” her during sex.

The social media model even posted pictures and videos showing the alleged injuries which she says were taken directly after the former couple stayed together in a hotel room in Beverly Hills.

A police report from Stern accused Tate of choking her and failing to stop even when she begged him to during rough sex.

She claimed Tate got more violent as she pleaded with him – but shockingly revealed she “still loves him”.

Stern described feeling like she was slipping out of consciousness during the alleged assault.

Tate’s lawyer described the allegations as “fake news” at the time.

Text messages were also shared in the court documents which were allegedly sent to Stern by Tate during their relationship.

In the messages, Tate is accused of telling her he wants to “beat the f**k out of you” and boasts about how she “deserves it”.

He also told the model that there was “no point in having you” if he didn’t “beat and impregnate you”.

Tate, and his younger brother Tristan, still face a number of criminal charges in both the UK and Romania.

Andrew, who is currently living in Bucharest, is accused of ten charges in total.

This includes rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain against three women.

His brother, 36, is charged with 11 offences against one alleged victim – including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.

The pair deny all of the charges.

The charges lobbied against them in Romania have been ongoing for a number of years now and must be settled before they can be taken to court in the UK.

Both have said they will return to London to plead their case after the pair were hit with rape charges in May, their lawyer has said.

Ex-kickboxer Andrew moved to Romania years ago after first starting a webcam business in the UK.

He was joined by Tristan with the pair living together since.

Self-proclaimed misogynist Andrew also appeared on Big Brother but was famously booted off the show.

Domestic abuse - how to get help

DOMESTIC abuse can affect anyone - including men - and does not always involve physical violence.

Here are some signs that you could be in an abusive relationship:

  • Emotional abuse – Including being belittled, blamed for the abuse – gaslighting – being isolated from family and friends, having no control over your finances, what you where and who you speak to
  • Threats and intimidation – Some partners might threaten to kill or hurt you, destroy your belongings, stalk or harass you
  • Physical abuse – This can range from slapping or hitting to being shoved over, choked or bitten.
  • Sexual abuse – Being touched in a way you do not want to be touched, hurt during sex, pressured into sex or forced to have sex when you do not consent.

If any of the above apply to you or a friend, you can call these numbers:

Remember, you are not alone.

1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men will experience domestic abuse over the course of their lifetime.

Every 30 seconds the police receive a call for help relating to domestic abuse.

Luke Humphries needs X-ray on swollen thumb after darts fan pulls his hand during shock walk-on at US Darts Masters

LUKE HUMPHRIES faces a hospital visit with an injury scare after being yanked back by a fan on a walk-on.

The World No1 was left in pain after the thumb on his throwing hand was pulled back by an overzealous fan during his walk-on at the US Masters in Madison Square Garden.

The bizarre incident took place ahead of ‘Cool Hand’s’ first-round match against Stowe Buntz.

Despite the discomfort, Humphries still managed to win the World Series event after seeing off Nathan Aspinall 8-6 in the final.

But the Cheshire thrower confessed he’ll have to get an x-ray as the pain refuses to go away.

He said: “My thumb is incredibly swollen. It’s hard to play through. I was struggling with the grip. I couldn’t hold my thumb in the same position.

“I don’t want to make it all about that, I’ve won the title and I don’t want it to be about me having an injury, but the guy when he pulled my hand back, he really hurt it.

“I’m going to have to go home and get it x-rayed. I don’t think it’s broken as it doesn’t hurt to squeeze it. I’ve got a couple of weeks off. Next time I play is two weeks away, so I’ve got plenty of time.

“It’s not broken, that’s the main thing, but it’s not in good shape, it’s incredibly swollen.

“When I was in the final, I said to my family I’m going to give it everything.

“If I injure my hand in the final, I don’t care. I tried my best and it was good enough so really pleased. I wasn’t at my best but I managed to win.”

Des Cahill reveals ‘what I respect most’ about Dessie Farrell after ‘decades of service’ following Dublin GAA exit

DES CAHILL has paid tribute to Dessie Farrell and his “decades of service” after stepping down as Dublin football manager.

Farrell resigned following yesterday’s All-Ireland quarter-final defeat to Tyrone.

The RTE veteran shared a heartwarming throwback photo of the ex-Dublin gaffer

It brought to an end a six-year stint at the helm which yielded two Sam Maguire titles.

Reacting to his resignation, veteran RTE broadcaster Cahill praised the now-former gaffer and revealed what he respected the most about him.

He tweeted: “Dessie Farrell steps down after nearly four decades of service to #Dublin GAA.

“Apart from winning senior All-Ireland’s as a player AND manager, what I respect most is the years he put in with county development squads, and Minor and Under 21 teams.

“Enjoy your Tues & Thurs nights!”

Farrell’s final year in charge of the Dubs will go down as a disappointing one.

As well as exiting the All-Ireland at the quarter-final stage for the second year in a row, they also lost their stranglehold on the Leinster SFC.

A stunning defeat to Meath in the semi-finals brought to an end the Dubs’ run of 14 provincial titles in a row, with Louth eventually being crowned champions.

However, in his parting message, Farrell insisted that the Sky Blues will rise to the top of the pile once again.

He said: “I would have informed the County Board at the start of the season that regardless of what happened this would be the last hurrah.

“I’ve informed the players in the dressing room there as well that I’d be stepping away. I’ve had a great innings.

“I think it’s just come to a natural end. It’s easier to say it today than I have to say it next week or in a couple of weeks’ time.

“While everyone’s bitterly disappointed, sometimes failure is greatness waiting to happen. This could be a big platform for that group going forward.

“A lot of lessons in this season for players and for the group, and I think they’ll be better for it and well set up to attack a new season in 2026.

“Some of the new lads we brought in this year, still getting to know them, but a great crop of fellas as well. It augurs very well for Dublin football.”

Farrell says 2025 was always going to be a transition year for Dublin after the host of departures.

But the 1995 All-Ireland winning hitman loved every second of his time in charge as they won two All-Irelands and five Leinster SFC crowns under his watch.

‘DIFFERENT SEASON’

He said: “I think everyone involved, management, coaches, backroom and players knew that this was going to be a different season. We just embraced that challenge and see where it took us.

“I definitely don’t want to make it about me because it’s always and always has been about the players. Ultimately, they’re the men who step into the arena.

“They’re the men in the formative years of their lives who dedicate so much to playing for their county. I have huge admiration and respect for them.

“I think the overriding feeling for me now is that I will miss the people. It’s not necessarily the position because some of the relationships are really important to me.

“Some of those lads have been like kids to me, watching them grow up.

“They’re a special group and I’m very, very grateful for them and for all they’ve given. They’ll drive on and Dublin will be a good place next season and the season after.

“I think between being a player for Dublin underage and as a senior player and then as an underage coach and senior coach, manager, whatever you want to call it, I’ve got the guts of 40 years.

“It’s a long time and it’s been a privilege every year, every step of the journey. I’ve met some great people. I’ve had a ringside seat for some of the best players that ever performed in the arena out there.”

I hated the perv next door trying to look in our garden so my dad found a ‘functional, pretty’ way to block him out

A WOMAN who was desperate to find a way to stop her neighbour “perving” over the fence has shared the “functional and pretty” solution her dad came up with.

Laura had initially taken to a Facebook group to ask for advice on how to increase the amount of privacy she had in her garden, after the next door neighbour reduced the height of his fence.

So her dad came up with the idea of making this ‘fence panel planter’, which Laura then stood in front of the fence to add some extra height

And after taking in some suggestions, Laura then enlisted the help of her parents, with her dad inventing a genius solution and building it himself.

“Not sure if anyone can remember me asking what I can do for privacy as next door reduced a fence panel so he can see in our home or possibly even perv,” she wrote in her post on the Gardening Homemaking and Homesteading On A Budget group.

“Well here is the finished project, just need some soil and plants in it.”

She posted snaps of the results alongside her post, showing that her dad had built what looked like another fence panel, with a wooden planter at the bottom, which stood in front of the short panel.

And as the new fence planter was the same height as the other panels that hadn’t been made shorter, it effectively blocked out any unwanted stares.

“I think my mum and dad did a good job building it ,” Laura added, calling them “very talented”.

People in the comments section were quick to weigh in, with one writing: “It’s a shame that we are inclined to think people are doing things for ulterior motives.

“We kept our fence low as we had an elderly lady next to us and she was happy to be able to see us.”

However, Laura hit back: “The people before us said that the fence was 6ft when they moved out and they did not talk to him over the fence.

“When they moved out, that’s when he lowered that one panel.

“The man over the road also told us this too.”

And others quickly praised Laura, and her parents, for implementing the effective, budget-friendly plan.

“Brilliant idea to stand this in front of the fence,” one wrote.

“Looks great and you now have your privacy that your neighbour can’t do anything about!

“Your dad did a great job. Functional and pretty!” another praised.

“Wow, what an obnoxious thing for him to do!” a third marvelled.

How to create privacy in your garden

CREATING privacy in your garden can be achieved in a number of ways depending on your budget, and the size of your space. Here are some effective ways to enhance privacy in your garden:

1. Fencing

  • Install a tall, solid wooden or vinyl fence. This is one of the most straightforward ways to gain immediate privacy. Or use lattice panels, trellis, or slatted fencing to add a decorative touch while still offering privacy.

2. Hedges and Plants

  • Fast-growing evergreen shrubs or trees like Leylandii, Thuja, or Bamboo along the boundary of your garden can help with privacy. Grow a dense hedge using plants like Boxwood, Privet, or Laurel. It may take time to grow, but it provides a natural and green privacy screen. Use climbers like Ivy, Clematis, or Wisteria on fences or trellises to create a lush, green privacy barrier.

3. Outdoor Curtains

  • Hang outdoor curtains around pergolas, gazebos, or patios for an easy-to-adjust privacy solution.

4. Sound Barriers

  • A water fountain or small waterfall can help drown out noise, adding to the sense of privacy. Or install fencing designed to reduce noise if privacy from sound is also a concern.

“Good solution! I would plant vines.”

“Looks really good,” someone else agreed.

“Can’t believe someone would do that!”

“I’d keep a diary of his movements plus put up some security cameras,” another suggested.

“How sad to have a neighbour like that!”

“We have CCTV all around the house,” Laura replied.

“We brought it off the old owners but unfortunately not sure how to work it yet.”

“It’s marvellous, I know how you feel I have a nosy Parker next to me,” someone else sighed.

“Great solution, now grow something that will be taller than the fence – that’ll stop the perv,” another wrote.
