Love Island star looks completely different as she becomes a body builder after having two kids

A LOVE Island star looked completely different from her time on the show, as she revealed she has become a body builder after having two kids

The reality star, 29, shot to fame when she appeared in Casa Amor in 2019.

The former Islander in question is Lavena Back, who is now a mother and fitness influencer.

She was briefly on Love Island during the dreaded Casa Amor stage six years ago, but failed to steal one of the boys so didn’t make it in the main villa.

Since then, Lavena has got married, had two kids and now is a body builder.

Showing off her muscles in her latest Instagram post, she revealed she had just competed in a body building competition.

Didn’t walk away with the trophy, but walked away with so much more,” she told fans.

The line-up was insanely strong, and I’m honestly so proud of myself for even getting this far.

This journey lit a fire in me, and I already know I’ll be back, better than ever thank you to my legend of a coach @jase_eliteresults for getting me here!”

FINDING LOVE

Prior to going on Love Island, Lavena had an on-off relationship with Premier League star Wilfried Zaha.

But the influencer failed to find love on the ITV2 reality show and didn’t make it out of Casa Amor.

Now, times have changed for the star as she’s certainly found love and is married to her ‘soul mate.’

Lavena revealed the sweet news in April 2022, as she posed in a wedding dress.

The reality star wrote: “When you want something so bad you’ve just got to go for it… so we tied the knot.”

BECOMING A MUM

Lavena and her husband had their first child in August 2022.

She announced her second pregnancy in June 2023, with a scan picture and the words: “When 3 became 4.”

Lavena then welcomed baby number two the following year.

The star uses her social media to share videos about motherhood.

In her bio she writes that she’s “just a mum,” and she often shares videos with her little ones.

Lavena has TikTok too, where shares mum hacks and playful videos with the little ones.

Five fights Dana White can make for Ilia Topuria after epic UFC 317 KO, including Paddy Pimblett grudge match

ILIA TOPURIA is the new king of the UFC’s lightweight division.

The Georgian-born Spaniard became only the TENTH fighter in the history of MMA’s premier promotion to hold titles in two weight classes last weekend in the main event of UFC 317 in Las Vegas.

The world is Topuria’s oyster following his historic victory[/caption]

‘El Matador’ claimed the vacant lightweight title with a blistering first-round KO of former champion Charles Oliveira in front of a sold-out crowd at the T-Mobile Arena.

Attention has already turned to who the 28-year-old will fight in his maiden defence of the 155lbs throne, which he’ll no doubt be hoping will take place in his adopted homeland of Spain.

And SunSport is on hand with five fighters the new fan favourite could face in his next outing.

Paddy Pimblett

Given their long-standing beef, which stemmed from social media comments Pimblett made about Georgians, this fight is an absolute no-brainer.

The pair are currently the two biggest names in the stacked division, so pitting them together, especially when they’re both in red-hot form, makes sense.

The build-up to this one would be box office, especially after their blockbuster post-fight face-off and near-brawl.

UFC supremo Dana White has, however, already revealed he’s not keen on pitting the pair against one another next.

But the demand for this fight, the biggest the promotion can make at the moment in time, is white hot.

So the UFC would be foolish not to capitalise while the iron is hot and book this long overdue clash of stars.

Islam Makhachev

Topuria, of course, moved up from featherweight in February to pursue a champion-versus-champion with pound-for-pound king Islam Makhachev.

Makhchev, as we all know, ended up begrudgingly vacating the 155lbs belt to pursue welterweight gold once former training partner Belal Muhammad lost the belt to Jack Della Maddalena.

The Dagestani destroyer is understood to harbour ambitions of reclaiming the belt he won in October 2022.

It would make for a fantastic storyline if Makhachev were to win gold at 170lbs and drop back down to 155lbs to try to reclaim what was once his in a super-fight fans are still pining for.

Arman Tsarukyan

The Armenian, of course, was set to challenge Makhachev for the belt in January before a freak back injury less than 48 hours before fight night scuppered the bout.

Tsarukyan, who is on a four-fight win streak, weighed in as the backup fighter for the main event.

So it would make sense for him to be in the running to be Topuria’s first opponent for his reign as king of the lightweights.

Justin Gaethje

He may only be riding a one-fight win streak, and just over a year removed from a brutal KO at the hands of Max Holloway, but there is a case for Gaethje getting the title shot.

He did the UFC brass a favour by agreeing to defend the BMF belt against Holloway at UFC 300 following back-to-back wins of Rafael Fiziev and Dustin Poirier.

The promotion threw a boatload of cash at Gaethje in order to jazz up their tri-centennial card and his decision to take the fight cost him dearly.

Doing him a solid and giving him a third crack at undisputed lightweight gold at Topuria is the least the UFC could do.

Max Holloway

Although Topuria became the first man to crack Holloway’s chin in his first and final featherweight title defence, there is still some interest in a rematch between the pair.

Holloway cut a drained figure in their fight as he was returning to the weight class having filled out his frame to face Gaethje in their BMF bout at UFC 300.

The weight cut could’ve played a role in his chin finally giving out, although Topuria does carry insane power in both hands.

Either way, should Holloway win his trilogy fight with Poirier next month in emphatic fashion, the appetite for a rematch will likely be there.

The Sunday Game pays subtle homage to Glastonbury Festival during RTE montage of Armagh versus Kerry

NEIL Young’s “Harvest Moon” was used as the backing music to The Sunday Game’s Armagh-Kerry recap in what was a clear nod to this year’s Glastonbury line-up.

Like the Somerset festival, this weekend saw swathes of colour and cheer in Croke Park including Orchard fans in orange contrasted with the green and gold of Kingdom supporters.

Kieran McGeeney’s side were obliterated 0-32 to 1-21

And like the 79-year-old Young, Kerry proved there’s life in the old dog yet as they upset defending the All-Ireland champions on the back of an awesome second half display.

They actually trailed by one point at half-time with that deficit extended to five by the 40 minute.

However, the 38-time kingpins kicked into overdrive between that moment and the 55th minute by scoring 14 unanswered points and virtually ending the game as a contest.

Afterwards it was clear that Jack O’Connor had used them largely being written off beforehand to fire his troops up to the nth degree.

And despite the crushing victory the 64-year-old remained fairly fired up himself in his post-match media dealings as he hit out at a few former Kerry players-turned pundits.

O’Connor vented: “What’s to be gained by slating people? It’s the easiest thing in the world. I’m in the business of building people, not knocking people.

“I’d ask people who are knocking that group and knocking people involved with the group to look in the mirror and say, ‘What have you contributed?’

“It’s very easy to knock people. Go away and coach a team. Go away and coach a development squad. Go away and coach a minor team. That’s how you help Kerry football, not knocking people.”

group-stage defeat to Meath raised major doubts over the All-Ireland aspirations of the Munster champions.

The nine-point loss caused Darragh Ó Sé to claim that ‘the mood isn’t great’ in the county as the former Kerry midfielder tipped Armagh to bring an end to their season.

O’Connor said: “We think we have a lot of good footballers but sometimes we’re being judged on different criteria to other teams.

“For example, Dublin got beaten by Meath in the Leinster Championship and I didn’t see any ex-Dublin players coming out slating the team or slating the management like we had down south in our county.

“There’s a sense of commitment to the team and a sense of loyalty to the team. Unfortunately a few pundits down our way let themselves down in that regard.”

FAN FACTOR

The Kerry cohort in the 70,530 attendance revelled in seeing their team turn a five-point deficit into a nine-point lead during a blistering 15-minute spell.

O’Connor beamed: “A big performance and a big Kerry support came up and backed the team, which is great. We love seeing that because a lot of people had us written off during the week.

“But obviously the supporters felt there was another kick in the team. They’ve seen it happen before.

“They saw it happen in 2006, they saw it happen in 2009. Kerry is a proud county and we weren’t going to fizzle out of the Championship without a hell of a fight.”

Meanwhile, Armagh boss Kieran McGeeney admitted “it’s hard to know” what the future holds after he was asked about the prospect of staying on for a 12th season.

He said: “It’s all about the players first and foremost – what they want and how much they want to push on. My appetite for football has always been the same. I love it. I enjoy it, despite the abuse.

“It’s just one of those things. I don’t know. Maybe it’s an addiction. I haven’t even thought about that.”

Jake Paul plots talks with Anthony Joshua’s team in New York with YouTube star ‘adamant’ he wants to fight heavyweight

JAKE PAUL will use his week promoting Katie Taylor’s trilogy bout with Amanda Serrano to also hold talks over a fight with Anthony Joshua.

Serrano – promoted by Paul – takes on Irish icon Taylor on July 11 at Madison Square Garden following her two controversial losses.

Taylor is also represented by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing – Joshua’s long-time promoters.

So when Paul & Co stage the historic trilogy fight – talks with Hearn over a shock AJ bout will also be on the agenda.

Paul’s promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian said: “Anthony Joshua, I think that’s the main one that we talked a lot about…

“He’s adamant that he wants to make that fight happen at the end of 2026 and we’re gonna meet with Matchroom while we’re in New York to promote the greatest trilogy in the history of boxing.”

Paul had his first heavyweight fight in November when Mike Tyson controversially came out of retirement aged 58.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer won over eight, revised two-minute rounds but admitted the TWO STONE jump from cruiserweight was gruelling.

Paul, 28, returned to the 14st 4lb stone limit of 200lb in victory over former middleweight world champ Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 39.

Jake Paul vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr

JAKE PAUL’S controversial boxing career rolls on this weekend with the Problem Child facing boxing royalty in Anaheim, California.

Paul will face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, a highly-decorated former world middleweight champion.

The Mexican, 39, has fought just once in the last four years but has the best boxing resume of any fighter to step into a ring with Paul – bar Mike Tyson, who was aged 58 at the time they fought.

And after his ten-round points win he once again opened the door to moving back up to fight Joshua, 35, taking inspiration from Deontay Wilder, 39.

Paul said: “I’m definitely not a heavyweight but I’m still gonna take the challenge.

“But you know, look at Deontay Wilder, he was beating these guys weighing 215lb.

“Granted he’s like 6’6 or something but anything is possible and I like the challenge.

“People’s criticism is fight someone in their prime, who’s a beast. I think people just want to see me lose! That’s really what the message is behind it all.

“And Anthony Joshua is an insane fight, but I want that challenge. We’ve been DMing back and forth.

“He wants to make it happen. He called me up and it’s looking very likely for next year.”

Paul’s victory California against Chavez – who won the 160lb title 14 years ago – looks set to land him a world ranking in the WBC and WBA.

Anthony Joshua is an insane fight, but I want that challenge. We’ve been DMing back and forth. He wants to make it happen.

Jake Paul

And he called out world champs Gilberto Ramirez, 34, and Badou Jack, 41.

But criticism will remain levelled at Paul having lost to Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy via split-decision in 2023.

The American hit back to insist he is out to avenge that defeat to Fury, 28, which came only three years after turning pro.

He said: “I don’t even think I was a fighter then.

“I was like two years, two and a half years into the sport and I didn’t really know what I was doing. I didn’t have the proper team around me, the proper conditioning.

“My lifestyle outside of the ring was still that of like a YouTuber, celebrity actor, whatever I was at that point. So I wasn’t fully focused on boxing.

“Like I said, this feels like chapter one’s done tonight. Now we’re moving into chapter two and I’m just getting warmed up in this sport.

“But people hold the Tommy Fury thing against me, but what now? I just beat a former world champion and I’m coming to avenge that loss as well with Tommy.”
