KING Charles’s hopes for his horse at Royal Ascot were dashed yesterday as the favourite failed to dazzle in the sun and finished ninth.

Reaching High had been hotly tipped by bookies at 11-4 before the Ascot Stakes but he flopped in front of the expectant monarch.

Thousands of revellers who were enjoying a scorching day at the Berkshire racecourse and had backed the favourite were also left stunned.

Charles, 76, and Queen Camilla, 77, had been cheering from the Royal Box but were seen leaving shortly after the loss — even with two more races to go.

Despite being trained by legendary Willie Mullins and ridden by top jockey Ryan Moore, the horse got stuck in the pack and never hit the front.

Mullins said: “Ryan just said he got no run. He’s finished full of running, but just got no luck in running, so it’s disappointing.

“Their Majesties are very easy, lovely people to train for and it’s a pleasure.

“There’s a bit more pressure when you train one for them at this meeting, but to bring one here with a real chance is what we like to do.

“Hopefully this fellow will show us how good he is at some stage later in the season.”

The King, whose only Ascot win was Desert Hero in 2023, is set to attend every day of the five-day festival after The Sun revealed he was surprised at how much he enjoyed the occasion.

He had taken over his mum Queen Elizabeth II’s stable of horses. She had more than 20 Royal Ascot winners during her 70-year reign.

Earlier, Charles had written in the official racecard: “Having experienced the thrill of victory at Royal Ascot ourselves in 2023, we can only wish all those competing this week the very best of luck and that everyone watching has a most enjoyable five days.”

Nicoline, 32, shared a post about ‘life taking you to rock bottom’ after former Towie star James Argent turned on the former Miss World while they were at their home in Spain in May.

The Swedish fashion model took to Instagram on Tuesday to share some smiley snaps of herself at four-star alpine chalet Hotel Maribel Sierra Nevada.

Wearing an all red ensemble, and carrying a Louis Vuttion holdall, Nicoline smiled for the camera.

While sharing snaps from the lavish location, Nicoline penned a poignant caption.

In the caption, she penned: “Partner with the right power! Meaning – Surround yourself with ONLY people who shares the motto of wanting to be their best extraordinary self with you and others.”

She added: “In the midst of a setback there is a comeback laying ahead of you.

Last month Arg was arrested and spent several hours in police cells before admitting a charge of domestic violence in court.

Nicoline spoke out in a statement – confessing: “My fractures on my body have finally healed but I’m wounded inside.”

Recalling the traumatic experience, she said: “I was brutally thrown out of our new home in the middle of the night wearing only my pyjamas.

“I opened the door to let him in and only minutes after, I found myself laying down on the stairs outside our house. 

My clothes and belongings were being thrown out from the balcony down on me. I was injured.”

She said: “I felt there were too many people in our relationship: me, my boyfriend and his ex. ‘Three’s a crowd’, they say. 

“I asked so many times if we could be just the two of us, but the answer was a strong NO.

“I experienced what I can only describe as targeted emotional distress which he allowed to continue.”

Nicoline continued: “After being together for one year my boyfriend finally promised me that he would have boundaries. 

“He would put a stop to all that had been going on for months. 

“But he didn’t. Instead he broke the promise and her controlling behaviour continued. The rest is history.”

Nicoline went on to thank the people who came to her aid and added: “I have tried to understand why.

“I have cried so many tears thinking about the way he chose to hurt me. He said he loved me and I believed him and here we are.

“There is now a legal record of what happened. Violence has no excuse – no matter how much love preceded it.”

James Argent was handed a six month suspended sentence and a two-year restraining order banning him from contacting Nicoline.

It comes as a major twist sees two other girls have their spots in the villa put in jeopardy.

It will be down to a new bombshell to decide who stays and who goes.

Kathryn has said she’s glad to be “on the other side” of the potty training and that her kids are “just great”.

And when asked if she’s getting notions about having another child, Kathryn told The Irish Sun: “No… the shop is closed!”

However, she admitted that she briefly thought about it around two years ago.

She explained: “My sister had a baby, Lily, she’s two now. But I remember going in to see her in the Coombe.

“Grace was one. I had said to my gynaecologist, ‘No, done, shop is closed’, and my doctor said, ‘I’ve heard of women like you before’.

“Anyway, I went in to see my sister in the Coombe, held the baby, gave her back, ran outside, rang my husband, was like, ‘Do you want another baby?’, and he was like, ‘Not on your f***ing life’.”

Kathryn laughing added: “So that was the end of that conversation. And very quickly I kind of was like… the hormone release died down, I was fine.”

AN 82-year-old motorbike driver has died after a horror crash with a SUV.

Cops and emergency services scrambled to the scene after a blue VW Tiguan SUV and a blue Honda motorcycle collided in Malton, North Yorkshire, around 11.42am on Tuesday.

Sadly, the elderly man who was riding the motorcycle died at the scene.

The man’s family have been informed and they are receiving specialist support from police officers.

The driver of the Tiguan, a man aged in his 60s, is assisting officers with the investigation.

North Yorkshire Police confirmed he was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

Diversions have been in place so the emergency services could work safety at the scene and to allow for both vehicles to be recovered as part of the collision investigation.

The road reopened just after 9pm after the highways team cleared debris from the carriageway.  

Cops are urging people to come forward if they witnessed or have dashcam footage of the collision itself.

Police also want to hear from anyone who saw either the blue Tiguan or the blue Honda motorcycle prior to the incident.

Cops added: “If you can help, please email the major collision investigation team at MCIT@northyorkshire.police.uk or call 101 and ask for the team.”

TYLER Perry has been sued by a fellow actor over sexual assault and harassment claims which span across several years.

Derek Dixon has filed a serious lawsuit against the media mogul, 55, after the pair worked together on The Oval which was created by Perry back in 2019.

Perry has been accused of sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexual battery among other allegations , according to court documents seen by The Sun.

His team have already denied all of the claims and labelled them “a scam”.

Court docs filed on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court claim Dixon and Perry first met at an event back in 2019.

Dixon alleges Perry hand picked him out of a crowd and asked for his phone number so he could get him an acting role.

At this point, the Californian actor had not had a role in any major acting project.

Shortly after their first conversation, the pair worked together in a show called “Ruthless”.

After filming wrapped up, Dixon claims Perry invited him round to his Atlanta home.

During the evening, Dixon says he became too drunk and asked to sleep in a spare room at Perry’s home.

The budding actor then alleges Perry followed him into the bed and started to touch his thighs, according to the court documents.

Dixon rejected any advances but claims the director remained interested.

Following the alleged incident, the pair would work together again a few months later when Dixon landed the role of Dale in The Oval.

Perry would then begin to send sexually suggestive texts to Dixon, the court docs state.

These allegedly included him asking about his sexual preferences.

Dixon said he found the messages were “strange and untowardly” but as he was new to the industry didn’t want to report them.

Dixon claims he feared his career would be over if he did voice his concerns at the time.

Instead, the actor says he responded by saying he wasn’t “the sexual type”.

These sexually charged messages would continue on for years, Dixon alleges.

At one point, contact turned physical, according to the court documents, as Perry is accused of grabbing Dixon’s throat.

Then in June 2021, Dixon was again staying at Tyler’s Atlanta home when he was allegedly groped.

Dixon was staying in the guest house and wearing only underwear when he claims Tyler came in to the room to say goodnight.

The pair shared a hug before Perry allegedly pulled down Dixon’s briefs, grabbed at his backside and told him to “relax”.

According to the suit, Dixon filed a complaint with Equal Employment and Opportunity Commission in June 2024.

He would later quit The Oval as he stated he could no longer deal with the alleged sexual harassment.

Dixon is now suing Tyler and Tyler Perry Studios for quid pro quo over the accusations.

He wrote in the suit: “Just like Harvey Weinstein, Bill Cosby, R. Kelly, Sean ‘P-Diddy’ Combs, Kevin Spacey, Roger Ailes, and many others in the industry, Mr. Perry’s success has led him to believe that money and influence can get him whatever he wants.”

He is seeking $260million in damages.

Matthew Boyd, an attorney for Perry, responded to the complaint in a statement to PEOPLE.

He said: “This is an individual who got close to Tyler Perry for what now appears to be nothing more than setting up a scam.

“But Tyler will not be shaken down and we are confident these fabricated claims of harassment will fail.”

A MUM tried to smuggle drugs through an airport after being offered a “life-changing” £6,200.

Chelsea Blanton, 29, was stopped by Border Force officers after touching down in the UK with 28kg of cannabis.

She had flown from Texas to Saudi Arabia to Malaysia before heading to Manchester via Heathrow on May 7.

In her two suitcases, officers found 15 vacuum-sealed packages of the drug, with a wholesale value of £80,000.

American Blanton told Manchester crown court that she had been offered a “life-changing” amount of cash.

But Judge Tom Gilbart said: “You took a gamble.

“It didn’t pay off.”

Blanton, of no fixed address, admitted drug smuggling and got 17 months.

She will serve half in jail then could be deported back to the US.

Earlier this year Myleene revealed what really gets her in the mood during an appearance on Loose Women.

Referencing Brooke Shields’ autobiography, in which she details her thoughts on sex as a 59-year-old woman, Jane Moore put the same question to her fellow panelists.

Myleene, who shares five-year-old daughter Ava with her husband Graham Quinn, revealed what gets her turned on now she’s a busy mum.
