THE dad of Chelsee Healey’s baby daughter has been jailed for his role in a “wholesale” drug-dealing operation.
Eddie Rainford, who shares daughter Cookie with the Hollyoaks star, supplied large quantities of cannabis with co-accused Jay Boyd.

The 32-year-old was today jailed for 24 months after he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023.
Chelsee had gone to Manchester Crown Court on Monday to watch Rainford’s sentencing but the case was adjourned.
Rainford’s plea came just days after Chelsee was eliminated from Dancing on Ice.
The Waterloo Road star had hinted that she was struggling following her exit from the hit ITV show.
She said: “There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with.”
An insider also told The Sun the pair were no longer in a relationship.
The court heard how ex-Royal Marine commando Rainford and Boyd, 28, had “headed” an OCG (Organised Crime Gang) that dealt “multi-kilos” of cannabis.
Gwen Henshaw, prosecuting, described it as “boutique” operation that involved selling various varieties of the drug, including “Cali weed”, “Oreo Cookies” and “Orange Cake”.
Chelsee had kept Rainford’s identity a secret when they began dating in 2021.
His first name was revealed following Cookie’s birth in December 2023 when he was seen in the background of photos from their baby shower.
Chelsee, who has another daughter Coco, previously told how their relationship was the “most supportive” she had ever been in.
She added: “My friends and family love him, and he’s the first bloke I’ve introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was ‘The One’ within three to four months.
“I’ve kissed a few frogs, but he’s definitely marriage material.”
In April, Chelsee returned to her role of Goldie McQueen in Hollyoaks after taking an extended break.

FAMILIES of those killed and injured in the Creeslough tragedy have been refused an opportunity to speak during an appeal against an application to rebuild the petrol station at the centre of the tragedy.
It follows a decision by An Bord Pleanala to rule out a request for an oral hearing in the Co Donegal case.
The tragic victims’ families have slammed the rebuild plans on the siteAFP - Getty
The request was made to An Bord Pleanala by a number of objectors who were bereaved by the October 2022 tragedy.
Ten people died following a huge explosion at the service station in October, 2022.
The objectors include Aine Flanagan, who lost her partner Robert Garwe and five-year-old daughter Shauna Flanagan-Garwe, Shauna Gallagher, sister of the late Jessica Gallagher, Derek Martin, husband of the late Martina Martin, and Caroline Lauder and MarieLouise Macleod, sisters of the late Martin McGill.
The group, represented by human rights lawyers Phoenix Law, had argued that the level of national interest and the complexities of legal issues raised against the development warranted a full public hearing.
However, An Bord Pleanala has decided to proceed with a written determination for the appeal.
An Bord Pleanala contacted Donegal County Council to inform them of their decision.
The council then contacted members of the bereaved families informing them of the decision.
Donegal County Council said An Bord Pleanala has decided that an oral hearing is not necessary as the appeal can be adequately handled through written procedures.
Reacting to the decision, one bereaved family member said the voices of those left behind after the tragedy had once again been silenced.
The woman, who asked not to be named, said “This is a disgrace. We are not being given a chance to outline our concerns in a proper manner.
“Ten people have died and yet An Bord Pleanala do not think their lives or our hurt are important enough so we can be heard.”
In an update provided to Donegal County Council, the Board confirmed that the processing of the appeal will now continue, and the Donegal County Council Planning Department will be notified of the decision once it is made.
A number of families impacted by the tragedy have strongly objected to the building of a new business on the very site where their loved ones lost their lives.
In a separate appeal, objectors have argued that it is against public policy to rebuild a development where a mass tragedy has occurred.
They stated that inquests into the deaths of the ten victims have not yet occurred and that if the development proceeds, it will result in the destruction of crucial evidence.

THE trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs has transformed the US District Courthouse in Lower Manhattan into the hottest ticket in the Big Apple.
Since the start of jury selection on May 5, the world’s media, onlineinfluencers, and true crime podcasters have descended onto 500 Pearl Street, hiring professional line sitters and standing on the courthouse’s sidewalk before sunrise.

I was among the more than two dozen who attended jury selection and the first week of Combs’ federal trial.
During day three of jury selection, I locked eyes with Combs as he entered the 26th-floor courtroom, shackleless and with his hands pressed together.
In that eerie moment, as Combs scanned the gallery, it felt as if he was conducting a deep analysis of each reporter, recording a photographic snap about the individual in his brain.
The spectators in the courtroom exhaled a huge sigh during the graphic testimonies from exotic dancer Daniel Phillips, who was invited into the rapper’s “freak offs”, and his ex, singerCassandra “Cassie” Ventura.
Combs’ twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, were noticeably missing from the gallery after day one of their father’s trial.
I watched as Combs stared daggers through his ex-girlfriend, never flinching, seemingly without an ounce of remorse as Ventura wiped away tears from her eyes

Still, Combs’ three sons, Justin, Quincy, and Christian, and his mother, Janice, sat through the stomach-turning testimony from Ventura, who described in great detail the hellish sex marathons she was allegedly coerced into with over a dozen male escorts.
I watched as some public spectators and journalists turned their heads away in distress as Ventura told jurors about the time Combs and an escort urinated on her.
Ventura’s husband, Alex Fine, who the defence wanted removed from the courtroom during her testimony, fearing outbursts, bravely watched from the gallery as his wife acknowledged the photos of male escorts she had sex with.
The atmosphere in the courtroom grew sorrowful as Ventura continued her testimony, recalling the weekly drug-fuelled “freak-offs” and traumatising abuse she suffered at the hands of Combs.
Throughout her nearly 96 hours on the stand, Ventura never looked in the direction of Combs.

Each time Ventura finished her testimony, she walked past Combs, seated steps away, without ever acknowledging his presence.

At the end of each day, reporters, influencers, and podcasters race toward the building’s exit, rushing to retrieve their electronic devices from court officers.
As I exited the courthouse, I witnessed a sea of journalists, TikTokers, and podcasters stationed under a tree at the neighbouring Columbus Park, or any available space near the federal building, filing notes, on the phone with editors, or recording roundup videos.
As the sun sets on Lower Manhattan, many continue working their way through scripts or wait for their live shots on the evening newscast – all the while the sounds of emergency sirens and irate drivers blare in the background.
And in the midst of the end-of-day filing chaos, steps away, there is another group of fresh journalists and professional line sitters seated on beach chairs, inside tents, near the courthouse entrance, waiting to do it all again the next day.

We are now 26 days into the star’s sex-trafficking and racketeering trial that has seen bombshell testimony and a cache of shocking evidence.
The case centres on the accounts of three women, the eight men and four women of the jury were told, including Casandra Ventura, while several witnesses have also been called into the dock.
As the trial enters its sixth week, key pieces of evidence have come to light – among those a trove of messages from Diddy’s former chief of staff, who was tasked with planning sex marathons, personal texts between Diddy and Ventura and videos from the wild sex parties.
Diddy's charges explained by a lawyer
Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani explained the set of charges Diddy is facing to The U.S. Sun:
“Diddy is facing three charges, or three sets of charges.
“The first is racketeering, which you typically see with organized crime enterprises – so the mob, cartels, street gangs – but we’re seeing it a lot more in sex trafficking cases.
“And you don’t need an organization like the mob, as long as it’s an enterprise, which is something that consists of two or more people, and they engage in two or more RICO predicate acts, that’s enough for racketeering.
“Racketeering is a powerful charge because it allows the government to bring in all sorts of evidence of criminal activity, as well as all sorts of people, into that racketeering conspiracy.
“And anyone who’s a co-conspirator, they’re on the hook for any criminal acts committed in furtherance of the conspiracy.
“The most serious charge, though, is sex trafficking.
“What separates sex trafficking from normal sex? Adults, of course, can consent to any type of sex, no matter how freaky it is. But sex trafficking has one of three elements: force, fraud, or coercion.
“And the government is saying that Diddy used force to force these men and women to participate in these freak-offs, and he coerced them by drugging them.
“The least serious charge is the prostitution, sometimes called the Man Act, and that’s engaging in prostitution using some sort of interstate commerce across state lines. That obviously is unlawful.
“Typically, you don’t see federal cases for prostitution only, which is why it’s the least serious of the crimes.”
Audio of a distraught Ventura threatening to kill a man over a “freak off” video was also released during the trial as part of her cross-examination by the disgraced star’s lawyers.
Cassie can be heard telling the unidentified man, who had claimed to have seen the video in 2014: “It’s my f***ing life and I’ll kill you”.
The audio evidence had been presented by Diddy’s lawyers in an attempt to prove that Ventura had been a willing participant in the sex marathons.
But she claimed that she was fearful the man would release the sex tape saying that it made her “feel sick”.
The trial continues, but one thing is for sure: there’ll be more twists, turns and bombshells to come in the music mogul’s shocking fall from grace.

A YOUNG dad sent his friends a heartbreaking final warning before he took his own life, an inquest heard.
Corey French, 19, was discovered dead by his stepfather outside his home in Swansea on Christmas Eve.

The inquest was told Corey, who had a three-month-old son, was fighting a secret battle with addiction issues including gambling.
Corey had told his GP he had been misusing alcohol, cocaine and cannabis before his death.
In a letter found after his death, he apologised for “having to go out like this”.
Corey said: “I can’t do it anymore. I can’t bare pain I’m going through. Don’t do drugs, that’s what has got me.”
The inquest heard Corey was a popular and talented young footballer who had been described by former teachers as a “bright boy who loved school sports and art”.
He was said to love his son and would “regularly show him off” to family members.
Corey had taken on a job where he would work away from home during the week, which he told a family member he struggled with.
But he had not indicated to friends, family or his girlfriend that he intended to harm himself.
On the evening he died, Corey had gone out to meet friends for a few drinks to celebrate Christmas before being taken home by his girlfriend.
His stepdad John later discovered the young dad dead outside the family home, the court heard.
Senior coroner Aled Gruffydd returned a conclusion of suicide.
You're Not Alone
EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide
It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.
It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.
And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.
Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.
That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.
The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.
Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
If you, or anyone you know, needs help dealing with mental health problems, the following organisations provide support:

STEPHEN BRADLEY revealed that a potential July friendly with Cliftonville had to be shelved because they sides may face each other in the Conference League.
The Hoops will face either Cliftonville or St Joseph’s of Gibraltar in the second round in the last two weeks in July.
Shamrock Rovers manager Stephen Bradley revealed that the club have shelved plans for a friendly against Cliftonville as they may meet one another in EuropeStephen Bradley also opened up on why Drogheda United’s UEFA heartbreak might be the first of many as club ownership models shift across Europe
And with the Hoops inactive in the opening weeks of the month after receiving a first round bye due to Drogheda United’s expulsion, Bradley was looking to arrange a friendly.
He said: “We’ve had a few of them from the North, and Cliftonville were one of them! So we won’t be playing that one. We’ll definitely play a couple of games around that time.
“We’ve had offers from away as well but a lot wanted you to travel which is not what we want at this time.
“We’ll definitely stay local, whether it’s up the north or staying here, we definitely won’t be travelling (for friendlies).”
Meanwhile, Bradley believes that Drogheda United’s Euro expulsion might become a regular occurrence in future as multi-club ownership models before the norm.
And he confirmed that one potential investor in Shamrock Rovers had raised it as a concern if they had put money into the Hoops.
FAI Cup holders Drogheda were denied entry into the Conference League this season because their owners Trivela, also own Danish club Silkeborg.
Trivela, who were doing the legal requirements to meet UEFA rules, appealed citing previous examples were clubs were given time to address the issues.
But Bradley reckons it will become more common in future, and pointed to Bournemouth investors Black Knight’s interest in Rovers last year.
He said: “I think we’re going to run into more problems like this. I think it’s only going to become commonplace.
“I know one of the companies that were looking to invest in here in the last while, that was one of the concerns.
“(Black Knight), that was their concern with Bournemouth. Whether that would happen or not, none of us know but that was one of the concerns and rightly so.
“I think it’s going to become commonplace around European football.”
As Silkeborg finished seventh in the Danish league and the Drogs were ninth in the League of Ireland, it was the Irish outfit who forfeited their place under UEFA rules.
And Bradley has nothing but sympathy for the players, management and fans at Drogheda.
He added: I’m just gutted for Kevin (Doherty), the players, the staff and the fans because they have done their bit.
“Because someone hasn’t done their business right behind the scenes, without knowing it it’s going to kill an opportunity for them. I’m gutted for them.”
