THE most iconic beaches in the world have been revealed, and one is in the UK.

Durdle Door in Dorset has been named by National Geographic in the list of must-see beaches which includes other coastlines in Australia and the Seychelles.

The beach gets its name from the unique rock formation[/caption]

National Geographic has declared Durdle Door as a beach “worth travelling for” because of its “showstopper” shore and rock formations.

The beach on the Jurassic Coast is known for its unique natural limestone arch.

The world-famous Durdle Door arch formed over millions of years by erosion caused by the crashing sea.

The beach is a popular spot with approximately 500,000 visitors going to see the impressive coastline every year.

While it may be the only UK beach on the list, Durdle Door has been likened to beaches overseas, especially in the summer.

In recent years, beach-goers have taken to Tripadvisor to rave about the Durdle Door that they’ve likened to beaches in Portugal or California.

One person wrote: “Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door: Reminded me of the Algarve in Portugal!”

Another added: “You don’t feel like you are in the UK. It seems more like Portugal or California.”

Durdle Door is such a famous beach that it’s even been used in TV series.

In recent years, TV shows like Doctor Who and Far From the Madding Crowd have also been filmed on the beach.

The second season of The Sandman starring Jenna Coleman was also filmed at the holiday hotspot.

The beach has also welcomed the likes of Hollywood when it was used as the backdrop for Pirates of the Caribbean.

The village nearest to Durdle Door is West Lulworth, a beautiful village known for its thatched cottages and window boxes. 

Assistant Travel Editor Sophie Swietochowski visited Durdle Door, and revealed that it’s actually like.

Sophie said: “Despite the Jurassic Coast being one of the most well-known spots for rambling in the UK, it has managed to remain gloriously peaceful.

“I barely passed another soul during a Sunday hike along the rugged coastal path above Durdle Door a few years back – only a herd of cows munching on the unkempt grass at the top of the cliff.

“Admittedly, things grew a little busier as I approached Lulworth Cove.

“But that’s no surprise with a horseshoe-shaped pebble bay and turquoise waters that could rival those in the Caribbean.”

Last night Harry’s womanising ways were exposed in a brutal game as he finally admitted to snogging Yasmin in the Hideaway.

Earlier that day, the pair enjoyed a cosy chat in the private area and kissed THREE times.

But despite their snog, neither Harry nor Yasmin admitted to it when they returned from the Hideaway.

That was until their actions were exposed in a brutal firepit game on Thursday night. 

Helena was left in shock as Yasmin revealed they’d kissed not once, but three times. 

And while Harry smirked, the stunning air hostess was backed by co-star Megan.

“You’re a liar,” Megan shouted across the firepit to Harry, adding: “You owe it to Helena to be f****** honest, you p****.

“She’s sat there watching you go into the Hideaway, you kissed her three times and then come out and go ‘Oh no, I didn’t do anything.’”

Meg finished by telling Harry: “Grow a pair of b******* mate, honestly, grow the f*** up.” 

After her sweary rant at the scandalous star, Helena got up and stormed off from the group as Remell said: “I think we should wrap it up here.” 

While Helena could be seen storming off as Harry showed no sign of remorse.

ITV2 viewers have begged Helena to dump Harry.

A second posted: “Helena is a weak babe, she needs to bump Harry.”

“Helena needs to move on and have some self respect,” a third said.

There were more fireworks earlier in the game when it was revealed Yasmin said she’d like Harry to “tip her upside down”.

Elsewhere, Conor read out a comment from Dejon that ruffled Meg’s feathers.

Dejon previously told the boys about Yasmin: “She’s never orgasmed, so if I give her her first orgasm, then she’ll fall in love.”

After Conor read out the comment, Yasmin said to the group: “I mean, if you can make me orgasm, fair play. I probably will fall in love.”

Things go from bad to worse when Remell read out a remark that Harry made to the boys about wanting to kiss Yasmin.

Helena yelled: “What the f*** is going on here?”

Megan exclaimed: “He tells you f*** all and that’s why, you need to find out and hear it for yourself.”

Crystal Jewell, a 32-year-old mum-of-two from the UK, was able to transform her council house and create a dressing table of dreams for just £21 – yes, you heard that correctly.

The savvy DIY enthusiast nabbed bargain buys from The Range for her bedroom’s makeover and took to social media to give her followers a before, during and after look at the overhaul, leaving many totally stunned. 

Alongside the short clip, the brunette beauty beamed: “Dressing table space saver hack!!” 

Crystal then said: “Do you want a dressing table but don’t have enough room? I’m gonna show you how you can make one for only £21.”

Disappointed with the storage in her council property, Crystal explained: “Let’s not even go there with the storage – I have nowhere to store anything in this house, so I just have baskets here, there and everywhere filled with c**p that I will probably never even need.”

As a result, she shared: “I went to The Range yesterday, picked up a free wallpaper sample, then I picked up two floating shelves that were only £8 each. 

“I actually cannot wait to have somewhere to sit, do my hair and do my make-up.”

After giving the wall next to her wardrobe a lick of paint, Crystal added her trendy panel-effect wallpaper sample and continued: “I know you’re all wondering why I haven’t done the wallpaper down to the floor – I’m gonna cut it into the bottom shelf and just paint the bottom of the wall.”

Following this, she attached her floating shelves and a mirror she bought for just £5 in the sale.

Thrilled with the finished look, the DIY fan beamed: “Now I’m just gonna decorate it with all the little bits that I already have lying around the house.” 

To finish off the dressing table, Crystal added wicker baskets, a vase with pampas grass and a white jewellery box.

We think Crystal’s DIY dressing table is gorgeous and it’s clear that many others do too, as the TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @crystal.jewell3, has quickly racked up 204,800 views. 

It’s also amassed 4,977 likes, 281 comments, 1,661 saves and 757 shares. 

Social media users were left stunned by the DIY dressing table and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.

FOLLOWING years of controversy, the iconic Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders secured a historic pay rise in 2025.

Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts revealed the world’s wealthiest sports franchise paid their dedicated team of dancers inadequately, but thankfully they have secured a 400 per cent pay rise.

In June 2025, it was announced on Netflix docuseries America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders that the squad would receive a 400 per cent pay increase for the 2025 NFL season.

This marks a significant shift from previous years, when their pay was widely criticized as inadequate given the demanding nature and visibility of their role.

During the show’s first series, Charlotte Jones — daughter of franchise owner Jerry Jones — admitted their was an issue with their pay, saying: “There’s a lot of cynicism around pay for NFL cheerleaders — as it should be. They’re not paid a lot.”

Previously, the squad was paid $400 per game — a figure that itself was the result of a 2019 settlement that doubled their earlier $200 per game rate.

And now the Cowboys have reportedly multiplied the squad’s pay by four, which would take it up to somewhere in the region of $1,600.

When season two of America’s Sweethearts dropped on June 18, 2025, one of the Cowboy’s cheerleaders revealed that the franchise had finally addressed this issue.

Megan McElaney said: “We ended up getting a 400 per cent increase, which is like, life-changing.”

She said they would now earn around $75 per hour, compared to about $15 per hour from the previous season for most cheerleaders.

And former Cowboys dancer Jada McLean added: “Happy isn’t even the right word for it.

“I think I was just … a relief, like everything had paid off… Finally, we were done fighting.”

Former Cowboys cheerleader Jada reportedly earned between $15,000 and $22,000 annually during her time with the squad, a figure that includes game-day pay, rehearsals and paid appearances. 

She also told the New York Times that the new contract does not include health insurance.

Cheerleaders typically spend 30 to 40 hours per week on training, performances, and preparations, and many still work additional jobs to make ends meet.

The pay raise comes after years of internal discussions, media coverage, and legal action.

In 2018, former cheerleader Erica Wilkins filed a lawsuit alleging unfair pay practices, claiming she earned about $7 an hour plus a flat $200 per game. 

The lawsuit was settled in 2019, doubling the per-game rate at the time.

Although the Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable sports franchise in the world, topping Forbes’ sporting wealth list with a valuation of $10.1billion, their cheerleaders’ pay has historically lagged behind the team’s financial stature.

The recent raise is seen by many as long-overdue, bringing the cheerleaders’ pay more in line with the squad’s prominence, commitment and workload.

A PAIR of Strictly Come Dancing stars have signed up for Celebrity Gogglebox.

The starry eyed spin-off of the Channel 4 programme has been adding a variety of huge names for its current run.

Now, the show has revealed that Strictly Come Dancing judges Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood will be appearing on the sofa tonight.

The popular pair have both been a part of Strictly since its inception in 2004 with Anton originally appearing as a pro with Craig being the only judge to have remained on the panel since the first series.

Revealing the news, an Instagram post from the official Gogglebox account said: “10s all round!

“Welcome to the #CelebrityGogglebox family.”

A video clip to confirm their appearance saw Craig say: “Yes, it’s me, Craig Revel Horwood.”

Anton then chipped in to add: “And me, Anton Du Beke, my loves. Join us!”

The addition of the pair comes after The Sun exclusively revealed a slew of names for the series including the show’s biggest signing to date.

The Sun were the first to reveal last week that Darts superstar Luke Littler had agreed to join the show.

The 18-year-old paired up with his close pal and popular internet personality, AngryGinge, for their debut last Friday.

Yesterday, we also told how popstar Rag’n’Bone Man had joined the show and will also make his debut tonight.

It will be the Human singer’s first ever foray into reality TV after a series of years topping the charts.

Rag’n’Bone Man – whose real name is Rory Graham – will be accompanied by a popular comedian and TV host on the show.

Romesh Ranganathan will be his TV partner in crime and is best known for hosting the revival of The Weakest Link as well as his shows on BBC Radio 2 and his partnership with Rob Beckett.

Confirming their appearance on the show in a light-hearted clip, a deadpan Romesh said to the camera: “Hello I’m Romesh and this is Rory [Rag’n’Bone Man].

“We are gonna be on Celebrity Gogglebox, aren’t we?”

Rag’n’Bone Man, dressed in a pink T-shirt, then added: “Yes we are, this Friday at 9pm.”
