Tragic last video of mum dancing with family just 2 weeks before she died after getting rabies from stray dog on holiday

A TRAGIC last video of a mum who died from rabies after stroking a stray dog shows her happily dancing.

Yvonne Ford, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire, died earlier this week after suddenly falling ill, her family said.

She had been suffered a mild scratch from a puppy while on holiday in Morocco in February and unknowingly contracted the potentially fatal disease.

A video filmed earlier this month, shows her happily dancing with two children as music blasts out from speakers at what appears to be an outdoor family-friendly rave.

Yvonne’s daughter Robyn Thomson said in a Facebook post yesterday: “Two weeks ago she became ill, starting with a headache and resulted in her losing her ability to walk, talk, sleep, swallow. Resulting in her passing.”

Her death has led to an urgent warning from the UK Health and Security Agency today.

Robyn also said: “She was scratched very slightly by a puppy in Morocco in February.

“At the time, she did not think any harm would come of it and didn’t think much of it.”

On Sunday, Robyn shared a clip of Yvonne dancing with two children, writing “just under two weeks before we lost mum”.

In a tribute, she said:

“Our family is still processing this unimaginable loss, but we are choosing to speak up in the hope of preventing this from happening to others.”

In another post, she referred to her mum by the nickname “Bon” and said: “She was the heart of our family—strong, loving, and endlessly supportive.

“No words can fully capture the depth of our loss or the impact she had on all of us.

“We are heartbroken, but also grateful for every moment we had with her.”

One of the world’s most beautiful airports is in ‘undiscovered’ European country – and it is opening a new terminal

A REMOTE airport in Georgia that has been dubbed as one of the most beautiful, is getting a new terminal.

Queen Tamar Airport serves the small ski town of Mestia and a new terminal building has been designed to draw on Georgia’s history with a completely unique look.

The current terminal was previously dubbed as being one of the world’s most beautiful[/caption]

Currently, Mestia has one small terminal which looks unlike any other in the world.

It’s a German designed black and white structure made up of steel and glass bent into an unusual shape which looks like an L from the front.

In 2014, the quirky terminal was named one of the 10 most beautiful terminals in the world by the BBC.

Now, LSG Solutions has revealed its designs for a second timber terminal for Mestia Airport which is in the Svaneti region.

The 2,000-square-metre building will be made from timber and spread across a single story.

The layout inside will be open-plan and it will merge the departure and arrival areas.

In the centre will be skylights which the company said will have “in-built heated glass” and will allow “natural light to pour into the space.”

Patterns throughout the terminal will honour Queen Tamar, who reigned during the country’s Golden Age in the late 12th and early 13th centuries.

At the moment, there are only six flights per week out of Mestia, Georgia.

These flights operate between Mestia and Natakhtari (near Tbilisi), and there are two flights per week to Kutaisi.

But the new terminal will open this year and is set to be a game-changer, encouraging more travellers to visit Mestia, the highland townlet in northwest Georgia.

In the Svaneti region are ski resorts, hiking trails, and cultural landmarks.

One Sun Travel reporter went to Georgia and found a “cheaper and undiscovered part of Europe”.

On a visit to Tbilisi, the capital, they discovered the ancient Narikala castle, and from there saw the colourful old town and dramatic Soviet-era apartment blocks.

It’s a very affordable city with rooms costing just £40 per night and you can get a glass of wine for as little as £2.50.

There’s also a traditional dish called khachapuri that they said “you can’t miss”.

Described as a ‘cousin’ of pizza, it’s a canoe-shaped dough full of melted cheese, topped with an egg.

Here’s what the world’s most travelled man thought of Georgia when he visited the country.

The lesser-known European destination with hot springs, cheap wine and underrated food now has new flights to four UK cities.

Jose Mourinho ‘holds meeting with Heung-Min Son’ as Tottenham name price for club captain

HEUNG-MIN SON is being lined up for a blockbuster move by Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

After a mostly dismal campaign, the Tottenham captain, 32, could bid farewell to the club after 10 years, with only one year left on his contract, though Spurs will not be letting him go cheaply.

According to Turkish reporter Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, he could be set to reunite with former boss Jose Mourinho.

A face-to-face meeting between player and manager to discuss a potential move is said to have taken place, with the pair believed to have maintained a strong relationship, though the Istanbul club may need to part with at least £25million to get their man.

SunSport understands that the player is open to a move, with the historic Europa League triumph viewed as a perfect way to depart on a positive note.

The duo linked up for eighteen months at Spurs, where Son enjoyed great success, bagging 22 league goals in 51 appearances under Mourinho, even scooping the Puskas Award during his tenure.

The Portuguese manager would be yearning for this form to return if a move is completed, after watching Fenerbahce’s fierce city rivals Galatasaray clinch a third straight Super Lig title.

Mourinho’s club are keen to make a splash in the market, and were recently been linked to Man City outcast Kyle Walker.

But as exclusively reported by SunSport, it appears the England right-back is instead heading to Merseyside to work under David Moyes at Everton.

Fenerbahce have though already agreed the £10m permanent transfer of former Manchester United flop Sofyan Amrabat for the start of the window.

Whilst rumours are also circling that Santos megastar Neymar could join, according to French outlet L’Equipe, in what would be a head-turning deal.

However, any move for Heung-Min Son may have to wait.

Spurs are desperate to hang on to Son for their lucrative pre-season trip to Asia to honour agreements with tour organisers, due to the star’s huge continental presence and significant commercial value he brings to the club.

If Son were to depart prior to this, a breach of contract with organisers could leave the possibility of a sizeable financial penalty being slapped upon the North London outfit, meaning a swift resolution over the player’s future is improbable.

It is also understood that the player is the subject of interest from three Saudi Pro League clubs.

Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah are all looking to swoop for the South Korean star, with a potential transfer saga now firmly on the cards.

This could hurt Fenerbahce ‘s hopes of getting a deal over the line.

But they have said they are just friends[/caption]

However, Yamal is still making headlines, only now it is for his company off the pitch rather than his skills on it.

Yamal was known to have headed to Italy for the summer break.

And his holiday snaps went viral this week amid speculation he was with social media personality Fati Vazquez, 29.

Instagram posts from the pair days apart indicated they were holidaying in the same place.

After the links emerged, Fati, who turns 30 this year, revealed she had received sickening death threats.

While Spanish gossip influencer Javi De Hoyos insisted Yamal had told him the relationship was not romantic.

Now, photos have been published by Spanish magazine Lecturas showing Yamal and Fati together on the beautiful island of Pantelleria, located in the south of Sicily.

In one snap, Yamal can be seen riding a jet ski, with Fati clinging onto him on the back.

While another shows Yamal, wearing his life jacket, and Fati sharing a joke on the seafront.

Fati, originally from Galicia in northwest Spain, is a flight attendance graduate who now has more than 440,000 followers on Instagram and more than 320,000 on TikTok.

Addressing the horrible messages she received on her Instagram page, she said: “It’s sad to see people who have such darkness inside that they wish death on someone they don’t even know.

“What others project, speaks more about them than me.

“I choose to live with the purpose of continuing to grow and surrounding myself with light.

“To those who wish me ill, I wish them healing, because nobody who is well in themselves wishes the destruction of another.”

In his post on the matter, De Hoyos added: “Lamine would not have gone alone to this holiday place but with other Barca team-mates.

“Fati probably does have something with another Barca person or is a friend of another team-mate.”

Lotto bosses reveal where life-changing Irish EuroMillions ticket worth €250MILLION sold

IRELAND’s biggest ever EuroMillions win worth €250,000 was sold in Munster, it has been revealed.

The National Lottery has said it was purchased in a retail outlet in then south of the country.

The lucky store will be revealed in the coming days.

The winning numbers are 13, 22, 23, 44, 49 and lucky stars 3 and 5.

Spokesperson Emma Monaghan told RTE’s Morning Ireland: “It’s great news for Irish players, we are delighted for the winner.

“They’ve now become the highest ever winner of an Irish National Lottery game. So that is some title to hold.

“If anyone has found they are holding the winning ticket, they should sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe.”

Emma said the lucky winner should let the win “sink in” and consider getting some financial and legal advice.

The National Lottery will be waiting by the phones for the player to make contact in the meantime.

She added: “If at all possible, to stay calm, I know that might be easier said than done.

“Have a cup of tea and just let it sink in. Players do have 90 days to claim the prize.

“So I’m hoping that they will make contact before then.”

The EuroMillions pot reached its maximum cap of €250million on June 6, meaning the prize couldn’t grow any further.

The jackpot is more than double the €115million Limerick woman Dolores McNamara scooped in 2005.

National Lottery CEO Cian Murphy said: “The details surrounding the winning ticket will be revealed over the coming days. With such a big win we have procedures to follow, but we will reveal the winning location as soon as we can.

“While this is a massive win, it can come as a shock to a winner and we advise them to stay calm, get independent legal and financial advice and contact us as soon as they can.”

It’s only the second time the €250million limit has been hit, with an Austrian player taking home the mega amount at the end of March.
