Former EastEnders star Lorraine flaunted the results of her hard work while making the most of the heatwave as she took her pooch for a stroll.
Lorraine looked stylish in a blue dress that was nipped in at the waist and fell to just above the knee.
She covered up in a pair of huge sunglasses and teamed her outfit with some casual flip flops.
It was revealed in July 2023 that Lorraine was being written out of EastEnders after playing iconic character Karen Taylor for seven years.
Lorraine told The Sun: “I was sad, it was a mix of emotions, it’s sad but it’s exciting as now I can go and do what I want.
“You can get a bit relaxed there and a bit comfortable. So I want to be out of my comfort zone.
“I just want people to remember her as the best mum on the square, a heart of gold, she’d give you her last fiver and would do anything for her kids – a bit like myself.”

TOMORROW marks 30 years since Foo Fighters dropped their debut album, and they’ve just released their first single since 2023 to celebrate.
They surprised fans yesterday by releasing Today’s Song, which is full of optimism about change in the future and personal evolution for the band.
GettyDave Grohl honoured Taylor Hawkins, who played drums for the Foo Fighters from 1997 until his death from a drug overdose in 2022[/caption]
GettyDave and wife Jordyn Blum looked the part as they dressed up for the big day[/caption]
But it is the first we’ve heard from married frontman Dave Grohl since he shocked fans last September by revealing he had fathered a daughter with another woman.
At the same time as the song dropped, Dave released a letter talking about Foo Fighters.
After writing about how the band formed during Thanksgiving in 1994, he explained: “Over the years, we’ve had moments of unbridled joy, and moments of devastating heartbreak. Moments of beautiful victory, and moments of painful defeat.
“We have mended broken bones and broken hearts.
“But we have followed this road together, with each other, for each other, no matter what.
Anthemic vocals
“Because in life, you just can’t go it alone.”
The track opens with Dave singing: “I woke today screaming for change, I knew that I must.
“So, here lies a shadow, ashes to ashes, dust into dust.
“You know that nothing can prepare you. Don’t let this cruel world compare you.”
It features crashing percussion and anthemic vocals which are sure to delight fans, although he did not reveal who is playing the drums on the track.
In his letter, Dave paid tribute to original drummer William Goldsmith, former guitarist Franz Stahl and their most recent drummer Josh Freese before honouring Taylor Hawkins — who played drums for the band from 1997 until his death from a drug overdose in Colombia in 2022.
Dave wrote: “Your name is spoken every day, sometimes with tears, sometimes with a smile.
“But you are still in everything we do, everywhere we go, forever.
“The enormity of your beautiful soul is only rivalled by the infinite longing we feel in your absence.
“We all miss you beyond words.
“Foo Fighters will forever include Taylor Hawkins in every note that we play, until we do finally reach our destination.” Hear hear.

KERRY KEEN TO SLAY ‘EM
GettyGuitarist Kerry King has opened up ahead of Slayer’s three huge shows in the UK[/caption]
BEFORE Cardiff is overrun with Oasis fans, thrash metallers will today descend on Blackweir Fields for the first of Slayer’s three huge shows in the UK.
And guitarist Kerry King, who will also perform at Ozzy Osbourne’s Back To The Beginning show in Birmingham on Saturday, before Slayer play Finsbury Park the following night, tells me the band will be hitting the bottle once the shows end.
“I turned 60 last year, but I still have a good time,” Kerry says, in an exclusive chat.
“I still don’t drink before I play because I feel like I owe the fans the best they can see. There’s no fun until after the show.
“There’s still vodka on the rider, there’s still tequila, there’s still Jagermeister and there’s still beer.
“But it’s not anybody’s mission to drink it all that night like maybe it used to be.”
Kerry is looking forward to the band’s shows as he says there is something special about British fans.
He explains: “I’m not saying it doesn’t happen in America, but the UK crowd – it’s going to be a frenzy, like, controlled chaos.”
Kerry has been sworn to secrecy by Sharon Osbourne about what Black Sabbath song Slayer will perform on Saturday, but he says he would have moved heaven and earth to make Ozzy’s final show.
“To be part of that line-up with some of the greatest bands ever in hard rock and metal, it’s surreal,” Kerry says.
“I’m excited to see what Metallica does, what Pantera does, what Lzzy Hale does.
“I’m looking forward to Alice In Chains and I know K.K. Downing is doing something.
“I’ll be fully engaged as a fan right up until it’s time for me to warm up and go on the stage.”
Since their debut in 1981, Slayer have become one of the most influential thrash metal groups on the planet.
But their decision to push boundaries with their lyrics and album art – which has covered everything from serial killers, religion and terrorism to fascism – has seen some of their albums banned in certain countries.
While Slayer have confirmed they won’t be releasing new material, Kerry has been hard at work on the follow-up to his first solo record, From Hell I Rise, which came out last year.
And he admits the changing nature of the world, and how easily people are offended now, does affect the way he writes.
Kerry explains: “All I can speak of is in America, because that’s where I live and what I know, and it seems like every day the government tries to take away things. What was OK to say five years ago, now it’s not. Freedom of speech has changed over the past few years.
“When I write my new album, I’m not sure what I’m going to try to address because I’m not sure what they’re going to try to take me to jail for.”

DUA LIPA has jetted off on yet another holiday with fiancé Callum Turner after completing the European leg of her Radical Optimism tour.
She shared snaps of herself sunbathing and posing with her actor partner, while enjoying some down time in Napoli.
The Training Season singer has been mocked for her habit of going on constant trips abroad, but wouldn’t we all be the same if we could?
Earlier this month, she said: “People do really love to joke about the fact that I’m always on holiday.
“I’m not always on holiday – I just make everything I do feel like a holiday.”
This certainly looks like one.
GRACE: I BELIEVE IN LLOYISO
SuppliedClean Bandit teamed up with rising South African star Lloyiso for a new summer tune[/caption]
THE sun is shining and Clean Bandit have the perfect tune to go with that in their new single Believe.
Ahead of its release tomorrow, I’ve been given an early listen to the track, which made me feel like I was already on a scorching beach with a cocktail in hand.
The band, teamed up with rising South African star Lloyiso, whose incredibly soulful voice soars over the group’s beats.
On how it came about, Grace Chatto said: “We met Lloyiso in Johannesburg a few years ago. I met his friends, The Imports, who invited me to their house to write some songs.
“I was supposed to fly home but I decided to stay, impulsively. Lloyiso walked in and just sang, at the top of his lungs. It was so moving – I’ve never ever heard anything like it in my life.”
MAT’S UP TO PARTY
GAVIN & Stacey star Mathew Horne must be exhausted.
The actor was spotted living the high life at Wimbledon on Tuesday, where he enjoyed a swanky buffet in the exclusive Evian suite alongside his wife, set designer Celina Bassili.
Just hours before, he had been partying at Glastonbury and checking out sets from singer/songwriter Beth Gibbons and The Maccabees.
Bizarre’s Jack was also there post-Glasto and he’s knackered, too.
So hopefully the rest of Mathew’s week is a bit more chilled.

US singer Willow Avalon has confirmed she is dating Criminal Minds actor Matthew Gray Gubler.
In an exclusive chat backstage following her set at American Express Presents BST Hyde Park, Willow told me her fellow Yank was whisking her off on a romantic holiday.
“We’re actually going to Paris tomorrow,” Willow said.
“He’s really excited to show me around. I have three days off – so three days of bliss – because I don’t have much time over the next three months, so we’ve locked it in.”
The pair were VIP guests at country star Zach Bryan’s BST after-show party and were spotted hanging out at the nearby Golden Lion pub on Sunday with their pals.
Opening up about how she prepared before going on stage, Willow let me in on her secret, explaining: “I love regular Lays potato chips because if you eat those right before you go on, the oil coats your throat and it helps your voice.
“I have that with hummus.”
I’ll give that a try next time I’m doing drunken karaoke.

SHE has just released a single called Heat and Rita Ora was dressed for just that as the UK basked in a heatwave.
The Brit singer wore tiny pink and red shorts, along with white heels and pink shades, as she posed for Music Numero magazine.
And on the cover, perched on a motorbike, right, Rita looked stunning in black hotpants and a matching hooded crop top.
The trendy shoot comes ahead of her fourth album, the follow-up to 2023’s You & I, which it is hoped will be out this year.
Of the record, she said: “The album is brave and in your face. It’s ignorant without being arrogant.
“There is a world of ignorance where you are confident but happy and really proud of what you’re doing, but without coming across as arrogant and rude.”
PETE HITS THE ROOF IN LOFTY GIG
SANCHIT AGRAWALPete Doherty performed a live gig on the 14th floor roof terrace of The News Building on the hottest day of the year[/caption]
PETE DOHERTY embraced the hottest day of the year on Tuesday by performing a live gig in central London for Virgin Radio.
He played a belting set for its Live At The Top Of The Tower segment, on the 14th floor roof terrace of The News Building – where Virgin and The Sun are based.
And my team got a surprise at the office canteen a few hours before his set, where they found the star topless and getting some grub with one of his kids.
It came just 48 hours after Pete and his band The Libertines performed on Glasto’s Pyramid Stage, so the intimate rooftop gig was a very special moment for fans who managed to nab tickets.
Stay tuned to Virgin for your chance to get into future gigs.

AlamyTai Woffinden exclusively spoke with The Sun about coming out of his coma[/caption]
The speedway icon suffered multiple fractures after a horror crashTai’s wife Faye has been by his side since the near-death ordeal
Woffy, 34, broke over FIFTEEN bones and was placed in an induced coma after three major operations to save his life.
The crash happened when Woffinden collided with a teammate and hit a fence behind a protective barrier.
It left him with a double break in his right leg, a broken back, broken shoulder, multiple broken ribs, a punctured lung, fractured arm and extensive blood loss.
The Great Britain hero and wife Faye revealed more details on his recovery and he simply “does not know” if he’ll ever return to the track.
Woffinden, who is the country’s most decorated rider after winning Grand Prix world titles in 2013, 2015 and 2018, has also spoken for the first time to The Sun about the acceleration of his DJ career which he is focused on while out of action.
The Scunthorpe-born racer is teaming up with a massive dance superstar Oliver Heldens, who was the DJ for Man City’s title celebrations and is helping Jack Grealish learn the trade.
The track released this week, The Orange Room, derives from the iconic movie Clockwork Orange.
On his future, he said: “Honestly I don’t know what the plan is moving forward or if I’m going ride again.
“We are currently selling up in the UK. We don’t know where we are going to live next year, we don’t know if we are going to be in Europe or if I’m going to ride again.
“I feel like I’d like to sit on my bike at some point and maybe do a few laps but I just don’t know.

“I’ve got a goal in my head to be back as fast as I can but that’s just something I need to chase, to focus on and give me that drive. The reality is I don’t know what’s next for me.”
Woffinden was due to get further MRI scan tests back at the start of the week which will clarify whether he needs another operation on the humerus in his arm.
He also revealed horrifying details of how he came out of a coma and having to deal with hallucinations.
He added: “I was like a psycho when I woke up. I looked like an 80-year-old crackhead with a nice set of teeth!
“Basically because I was angry and scared because of the strong drugs I was hallucinating like crazy.
“I was like moving around. I wanted to walk, stand-up, I wanted to get comfortable.
“There was one time they put mittens on my hands and tied my hands and legs so I couldn’t kick, move or roll around.
“Because I was moving so much and the amount of injuries I had. They said to Faye if he doesn’t calm down, we’ll put him back in a coma. Thankfully I stopped.
“They noticed when Faye was by my side, I was really relaxed, I’d calm down and she’d talk to me and I’d listen.”
Woffinden spent days in a medically-induced comaHe is ahead of schedule in his rehab
There was also the terrifying feeling of reading back on the tributes while he was fighting for his life.
He continued: “We’ve had so much support from the people we are close to but also fans. To hear stadiums like Wroclaw, Torun and others all cheering my name.
“I went back on my socials and was looking back on all the stuff.
“I woke up from the coma and looked back on my socials.
“I got to see what it looked like if I was dead. It was really weird, a really strange feeling.
“When I was in a coma no one really knew what was going on. All the messages, it was wild.
“Rehab has been full gas and here we are now.”
The speedway icon suffered multiple fractures after a horror crash
While his recuperation is remarkably rapid, Woffinden has turned his full attention to his music career which has been building steadily in his spare time over the past few years.
But it’s certainly set to take a massive leap in success.
He added: “Using a speedway analogy to describe where I am in dance music, I’m probably in the National Development League. But now I’ve teamed up with Tomasz Gollob.
“On Friday we release a big collaboration with an artist called Oliver Heldens.
“He’s a Dutch DJ, kind of house, trance, techno DJ, who’s a household name in dance music.
“When Man City won their last Premiership title, he was the DJ on their bus taking them around Manchester doing the music.
Jack Grealish with DJ Oliver Heldens
“He’s been teaching Jack Grealish how to DJ and stuff. He’s a pretty big deal. So we basically made a track.
“The Orange Theme is out on Friday. It’s actually a derivative of a symphonic track from the 1600s.
“It’s actually been covered a few times. So most famously it features in the film A Clockwork Orange, it’s part of the theme tune.
“And in dance music terms, the biggest version was in the late 90s. Again, it was called The Orange Theme by a group called Cygnus X.
“This is going to be big. Can’t wait to get it out there.”

InstagramGarron has postponed his 2025 gigs[/caption]
InstagramGarron’s fans have sent him support[/caption]
However, he broke his social media silence last night to reveal to his fans that he’s postponing his nationwide tour.
Garron has been quite open about his mental health struggles and suffered with agoraphobia which left him completely house bound for five years of his life.
The Mayo native explained how he needs to get himself “back on track” and therefore will not be able to perform his scheduled gigs this year.
He wrote out a statement that said: “After a lot of though, I’m very sad to have to make the difficult decision to reschedule all of my gigs for this year.
“It was not an easy decision to make. Many of you will be aware of some of the issues I’ve dealt with in the past and and unfortunately, over the last few months I have been dealing with a lot of these issues again.
“It has gotten to a point where I really need to put all of my energy into getting back on track. I’m disappointed that l’m not going to be able to see you all, but, hopefully I will see you in 2026 for the rescheduled shows.”
All tickets held will remain valid for future dates and refunds are available upon request.
Garron apologised to his beloved followers saying: “I’m very sorry to everyone who was coming to see me, l understand many of you will have made arrangements to be at the gigs.
“If it was possible I would love to do them, but I have to accept that it isn’t possible at this time.
“Thank you to everyone for all their support over the last couple of years, my break from making videos will also likely be a bit longer than I had first hoped, but I look forward to chatting to you all again soon!”
Garron will remain silent on social media except for a few sponsored or scheduled posts set to post in the next couple of weeks which he said he had “a lot of fun making”.
He finished off his statement saying: “Hopefully it won’t be too long after that until l’m back. Until I see ye again. Stay Delicious.”
Garron’s friends and fans raced to the comment section with love and supportive messages.
RTE star Anna Geary said: “You do what you gotta do and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Look after yourself.”
Anthony wrote: “Sorry to hear you’re struggling mate, I know it’s a cliche, but you’re definitely not alone in that.
“So do what you have to do to get through it, which you will, these things always pass if we allow them to. Stay mindful and stay delicious my brother. Big love.”
Leigh commented: “Glad you’re taking care of Garron first. Sending lots of respect and love your way. And looking forward to your return.”
Norah added: “Mind yourself Garron, and we’ll see you when you are back. Stay delicious.”
PAJaguar unveiled a controversial new concept car leaving the motoring world divided[/caption]
JaguarJaguar Land Rover’s controversial rebrand, featuring bright colours, catwalk models, and a pink concept car, sparked a fierce backlash[/caption]
The revamped logo and badge courted criticism and ignited strong reactions from fans and critics alike
Now, it has been revealed that Jaguar sales in Europe have plunged 97.5 per cent following the botched rebrand.
The luxury British automaker registered just 49 vehicles in Europe in April, compared with 1,961 vehicles in the same month last year, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association.
Meanwhile, Jaguar sales between January and April plummeted 75.1 per cent, with just 2,665 cars sold across the continent.
Globally, Jaguar sold just 26,862 vehicles for the 2024/25 financial year – an 85 per cent drop compared to 2018.
However, Jaguar has insisted the rebrand has “nothing to do” with its mammoth fall in sales.
When the 30-second ad was first unveiled, flashing up a number of slogans, including “live vivid”, “delete ordinary” and “copy nothing”, fans on social media were not happy.
And the controversial ad excluded any images of its sleek sports cars as it touted its transition to a fully electric, ultra-luxury company.
The scrapping of the well-known big cat badge in favour of a geometric ‘J’ design also drew fierce criticism.
At the time of release, one Facebook user commented: “If I wasn’t sure before, now I’m convinced Jaguar have completely lost the plot. This woke nonsense won’t gain anything.”
Another said: “As someone who worked for this iconic brand up until production cessation in June it really does sadden me to see the direction the company has decided to take.”
Elon Musk also turned the knife on X, simply asking Jaguar “‘Do you sell cars?”
But the sales slump may not be as catastrophic as it first appears.
As part of Jaguar’s refresh, the car firm intentionally stopped producing cars at the end of 2024, a move which stretched into 2025.
The manufacturer is currently seeking to bring in a new range of entirely electric vehicles, which were due for release this year.
Defending the news, Jaguar said it was “pointless” to compare figures for 2024 and 2025 as it was seeking to move to its all-electric model and insisted the company’s rebranding was “not related to a sales decline”.
A spokeswoman said: “Jaguar’s transformation towards a new portfolio of pure-electric vehicles was announced as part of the Reimagine strategy in 2021.
“JLR always envisaged a period when the current range would ‘no longer be on sale’ before the introduction of the new Jaguar collection.
“Production of XE, XF, F-TYPE, I-PACE and E-PACE all came to an end in 2024 as part of that transition.
“This strategic ‘sunset’ of the product range is going to plan and will allow Jaguar to transform and reposition the brand for the future.
“Comparing Jaguar sales to 2024 is pointless as we are no longer producing vehicles in 2025 with low levels of retail inventory available.
“Jaguar’s rebranding is not related to a sales decline.”
CH-CH-CHANGES
Jaguar’s wild transition has long been on the cards.
Indeed, only the F-Pace will continue into 2026 – although it’s been pulled from the UK market along with the rest of the aforementioned models.
Jag then plans to fully relaunch next year as an all-electric brand, selling high-end, zero-emissions cars badged with its redesigned logo.
To that end, the company has invested heavily in new designs, concept cars and other ads to go with the reveal.
Defending the campaign last year, JLR’s Managing Director Rawdon Glover said to the Financial Times: “If we play in the same way that everybody else does, we’ll just get drowned out.”

BUYING a home may seem like a far off goal these days, but AliExpress could have a cheap solution.
The online retailer is selling a 20ft tiny home for just £1,400, and it includes a bathroom, bedroom and kitchen.
AliExpressAliExpress is selling a tiny home which comes with a private bathroom and kitchen[/caption]
AliExpressThe stylish home has floor-to-ceiling windows to let in natural light[/caption]
The small but stylish home offers floor to ceiling windows, meaning you could feel at one with nature working from home with natural lighting.
There is only a £197.66 delivery fee, and your home could arrive next week.
According to the listing: “ CDPH apple cabin is a modular dwelling constructed off-site and delivered to the location as a complete unit.
“The compact design, inspired by apple crates, features a rustic aesthetic and can accommodate several people.
“It comes equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping area, making it an ideal option for minimalist living or weekend getaways.”
Forget having to apply for a mortgage and battle a dreading house chain, the home could be yours with a click of a button.
Pictures show the home with curved edges and a wooden slatted design for the interior.
The bathroom is contained privately inside, with the kitchen built into the living space.
While it isn’t huge, it could provide the perfect excuse to live more simply, and keep belongings and expenses low.
It also said the colour can be “customised”, meaning you could tweak it if you weren’t a fan of the white exterior on the listing.
Given the national average house price in the UK was reported at £264,500 in 2024, it could be an affordable alternative.
Of course, you could use the home to earn some extra cash, if you rent it out, or it could be an extra bedroom for friends and family.
Alternatively it could be used as an office or gym in your garden.
AliExpressInside, the chic tiny home looks very cosy[/caption]
Tiny homes in the UK have boomed in popularity in recent years and typically range from 100 to 400 square feet in size.
Prices vary, but a basic tiny home can cost between £5,000 and £80,000, depending on size, materials, and whether it’s custom-built.
If a tiny home is on wheels, it may be classified as a caravan under UK law, meaning it might not require traditional planning permission.
Are tiny homes legal in the UK?
TINY houses can be in the UK regardless of whether they are on a trailer base or not. The legality of tiny houses is all to do with where it is and what you use it for.
According to Planning Geek, constructing a granny annexe in your garden usually means you’ll need planning permission, especially if it has a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen.
This is because it’s seen as a separate living space rather than just an extension of your main home.
However, if you’re thinking about converting an existing outbuilding, like a garage, into a granny annexe or a tiny home, you might not need planning permission.
That said, it’s important to make sure the space doesn’t end up being a fully self-contained unit – for instance, if the converted area doesn’t include cooking facilities, it might not be classified as a separate dwelling.
It’s also worth noting that, while certain small outbuildings can be constructed under permitted development rights, the NAPC points out that this usually applies to structures like sheds or garages, rather than self-contained annexes.
According to The Tiny Housing, a tiny home on wheels must not exceed 2.55 meters in width to be road-legal in the UK. Also, with a standard car licence, the length cannot be more than seven meters.
While tiny homes offer an alternative living solution, they must comply with local planning and building regulations.
Always check with your local council to ensure compliance with all regulations.

KATIE BOULTER crashed out to lucky loser Solana Sierra – and could not even blame misfortune on it.
The British No2 had a shocker for the majority of her 1hr53mins out on a half-empty Court No1, save for an impressive first-set fightback.
GettyKatie Boulter was out of sorts against her lucky loser opponent[/caption]
PASolana Sierra produced a brilliant performance on No1 Court[/caption]
That revival had seen Boulter go from 5-2 down to win 7-6, thanks to a tie-break.
And from then the supporters who had turned up were half-expecting a comfortable victory for the Leicester-born London resident.
But it did not turn out that way as an inspired Sierra capitalised on Boulter’s catalogue of errors to come through 6-7 6-2 6-1.
The Argentine, 21, had lost in qualifying and was only in the SW19 main draw after being randomly selected to replace an injured player.
She certainly made the most of it and was much the better, more consistent, of the two players, setting up a third-round tie with Spaniard Cristina Busca.
As for Boulter, she will look back ruefully on a complacent display which saw her lay down 14 double faults and 36 unforced errors.
It was chalk and cheese compared to her impressive victory in the first round over No9 seed Paula Badosa, which had shown what she is capable of on her day.
But the world No43 was nowhere near at that level against a much-lower ranked opponent in this second round, and paid for it dearly.

Sierra revealed after her victory that she has had to move the house in which she is staying during the championships several times already because she did not expect to be here this long.
And now she and her mother, who is staying with her, will have to switch residences again given she is into round three.
The Argentine explained: “I lost in the third round of qualies so we already changed three times the apartment and now we are going to change again!

And her daughter Eluned took to X to thank Alcaraz for his speedy service.
She wrote: “Thank you @carlosalcaraz for the concern shown to my mum today who was taken ill during your tennis match at Centre Court @Wimbledon today.
“Unlikely you’ll see this message but I can try! Thank you.”
