CHLOE KELLY has given Arsenal a summer boost by sealing a permanent switch to the club after her trophy-winning loan spell.
The Gunners’ signing of the forward, who is currently in Switzerland with England at the Euros, follows her exit from Manchester City.

The length of the contract with Kelly , 27, who notched two goals and three assists in 13 Arsenal appearances last term, has not been publicly disclosed by the club.
The move comes two months after she helped the club win this year’s Women’s Champions League.
Her eight appearances in the contest include her starting in Renee Slegers’ side’s 1-0 triumph over Barcelona in the final.
The result led to Arsenal winning the biggest football club prize in Europe for the second time in their history.
Of her permanent move, Kelly said: “Putting pen to paper on a permanent contract at Arsenal is a standout moment for me
“Learning from an incredible manager and continuing to build relationships with an excellent team is a journey I’m looking forward to continuing.
“I’m excited for more silverware at this special club and to bring more trophies back to North London to celebrate with our supporters.
“I’ve always said that Arsenal supporters are the best and to have them on my side, singing my name, means so much to me.”
Kelly, whose career started in the Gunners’ academy at 12, made 19 first team appearances for Arsenal, scoring nine times, between 2015 and 2018.
A two-year stint with Everton from 2018 was followed by the forward joining Man City.
During her time there the 53-capped Lioness won FA and League Cups in 2020 and 2022.
Last term Kelly faced a battle for minutes at City after dropping down their pecking order making just one start in six WSL matches last season.
Her struggle for game time led to the England star issuing an exit plea before joining Arsenal on loan.

Under head coach Slegers Kelly impressed for the club helping them finish second in the WSL after playing in eight top-flight games.
Slegers added: “Chloe had a great impact for us and played an important role in what we achieved here last season.
“I know she shares our ambition to compete for more.”

BRITISH drug mule suspect Bella Culley was shown a horrifying video of a beheading by evil drug traffickers – and warned she faced the same fate, her lawyer claimed yesterday.
Bella Culley went on holiday to Thailand and wound up in handcuffs in Eastern EuropeFacebookSuppliedBella was seen in court this week as her devastated family watched on[/caption]
East2WestCannabis was found wrapped in air-tight bags in Bella’s luggage, police said[/caption]
And she will deny knowingly importing drugs worth £200,000 into the former Soviet state of Georgia claiming she was in fear of life when she was put on the flight from Bangkok in May.
Trainee nurse Bella – who got pregnant on her Far East trip – claimed the gang also threatened to harm her parents and 16-year-old brother claiming they knew where they lived.
And she texted a desperate two word plea “HELP ME” to her family after being “branded” on the arm with an iron as a warning.
Bella from Billingham, County Durham, claimed she never saw a bag containing £200,000-worth of cannabis which was checked in under her name by a gang member.
Her Georgian lawyer Malkhaz Salakaia claimed the gang terrorised the teenager into becoming a mule.
He told The Sun: “They told her: ‘We know the addresses of your parents, we know where your 16-year-old brother is.’
“They made her watch a video of a man being decapitated and told her: ‘If you don’t do as you are told, this is what is going to happen to you and your family.’
“She felt queasy and almost fainted but they still forced her to watch it”
Bella – who wept in court on Monday as she appeared with her baby bump visible for the first time – has stressed the British father of her child was not a gang member
And she went on to describe the horror of her “branding” to Mr Salakaia.
He told The Sun: “On the inside of her right arm there is a mark from this coercion.
“She was, so to say, branded – a hot iron was pressed on her arm.
“She was forced to do this – there was both psychological and physical pressure, the trace of which is still visible.
“As to her connection with this group, she knew several of them – they are British.
“At first she knew one, and then through him met the others. However, we have grounds to assume that this group also had local accomplices, including in Thailand.”
Mr Salakaia said by the time Bella managed to send a desperate text to her family, it was too late for them to stop her disastrous journey to Georgia.
Mr Salakaia said: “Bella sent an SMS to her family asking for help, saying: HELP ME, but by the time the family reacted it was too late.
East2WestBella has now been locked up for six weeks in Georgia[/caption]
FacebookBella has said she never touched the drugs found in her suitcase[/caption]
NCJ Media
“The instruction, or rather threat, she was given consisted of the following: ‘You will take this luggage and carry it from point A to point B, to this or that country, or we will kill you.
“There is no talk of any potential reward or deal — Bella was simply forced to do this.
“The speculation that one of them is the father of Bella’s child does not correspond to the truth – I categorically deny this. There is no connection.
“I cannot say whether the father of the child knows about Bella’s situation.”
Mr Salakaia told how Bella tried in vain to raise the alarm – but discovered to her horror that Thai cops she tried to tip off were linked to the gang.
He said: “There was a very alarming episode while she was still in Bangkok. Bella seized a moment to go to some policemen – there were three of them, standing on the street.
“She told them: ‘I have a problem, this is happening, there is pressure on me, help me.’
“They spoke with her for 20 minutes and then returned her exactly to the same people she had run away from.
“This allows the simplest conclusion – that this group had things arranged with the local police.”
Mr Salakaia said Bella did not see the suitcase containing 31lb of cannabis in vacuum-sealed bags until a customs officer in Georgian capital Tbilisi showed it to her.
The teenager had no idea where Tbilisi was and no idea why she was there, he said.
Mr Salakaia told The Sun: “They marked this luggage, approached Bella and asked her: ‘Is this your luggage?’
“She said: ‘This was sent, it is not mine, I do not know what this is, but I was told I would be met, but who, I don’t know.’
“When she was leaving they told her that the person who should meet her would have her photo and her mission would be complete.
“It would have been better for Bella to come out and then be detained – after all, she was already under surveillance anyway.
“They would have seen who was to meet her. In this case the operation stopped with Bella – the full stop was put prematurely.
“The luggage was not checked in by her – her luggage was checked in by someone else. The luggage was simply registered to her.”
Bella, in a pink t-shirt with her hair in a bun, burst into tears at a court appearance on Monday where she was supported by her father Niel, 39, aunt Kerrie and grandad William Culley.
Mr Salakaia said Bella – who was refused bail on Monday – will deny drug trafficking charges which carry a minimum sentence of 15 years in jail.
The high profile lawyer – a former investigator who worked on the assassination attempts on former Georgian President Shevardnadze – said he would push for a fine and deportation.
Bella – who says she is happy with conditions at tough No5 Women’s Penitentiary on the outskirts of Tbilisi – is next due in court on July 10.
Inside the dark world of Brit 'drug mules'
A SLEW of drug mule arrests involving Brits have emerged in the last few months.
Bella was the first after she allegedly tried to smuggle a suitcase of weed into Georgia.
Meanwhile, former air stewardess Charlotte May Lee was also caught allegedly trying to smuggle drugs worth £1.2million into Sri Lanka.
Her two suitcases were said to have been stuffed with 46kg of a synthetic cannabis strain known as kush — which is 25 times more potent than opioid fentanyl.
If found guilty, South Londoner Charlotte could face a 25-year sentence.
As a young mum was detained in Germany for allegedly smuggling cannabis in her bags on a flight from Thailand – in yet another shocking case.
Glamorous Cameron Bradford, 21, from Knebworth, Herts, was detained at Munich Airport on April 21 as she tried to collect her luggage.
It comes as a Brit couple claiming to be tourists from Thailand have been busted with more than 33kg of cannabis in their suitcases at a Spanish airport.
The pair were picked out by suspicious cops at Valencia Airport after displaying a “nervous and evasive attitude” and are now behind bars on drug trafficking charges.
Experts told The Sun how wannabe Brit Insta stars are being lured by cruel gangs into carting drugs across the world.
Then last month, a six-year-old British boy was arrested in Mauritius suspected of smuggling part of a £1.6million dope haul stuffed inside his wheelie case.
The lad was picked up by customs officials along with his mum and five other Brits as they arrived on the tropical island.

IT’S time for hurling to steal our hearts again.
Football has been getting all the love after another gripping weekend of big-ball action but now it’s back to the clash of the ash.
Cork got the better of Tipp in two of their three meetings this seasonKilkenny came out 5-19 to 3-21 winners when they met Dublin in the Leinster Championship
Ahead of the All-Ireland semi-finals the numbers game is fascinating. Many feel Liam MacCarthy is Cork’s to lose but the Dubs will have other ideas after pulling off the mother of all shocks against Limerick.
The Sky Blues haven’t beaten the Rebels in the Championship in 98 years — since they won the 1927 All-Ireland final — and haven’t reached the decider since 1961.
Kilkenny and Tipperary do battle on Sunday. These two are steeped in hurling history, even if they haven’t met in the Championship since the Premier won the 2019 decider.
Cork have never played great rivals Tipp in an All-Ireland final. All-time Championship top scorer Patrick Horgan has registered 3-42 this season.
His nearest challenger on the overall list, Kilkenny’s TJ Reid, has clocked up 5-26.
Tipp have been waiting six years for glory, Kilkenny have had a decade of drought.
Liam has not resided on Leeside in 20 years and Dublin have not been champions in 87 years.
A famine will end and the Rebels are best poised to pounce.
Meanwhile, a few of them in Kerry must have read the column last week.
Yours truly roared that David Clifford needed help in attack or the summer would be over in the Kingdom.
And Seánie O’Shea stepped up with one of the all-time great Croke Park displays, scoring just the dozen points.
Clifford scored 0-7 mind you, but was just one of nine Kerrymen to raise flags in a devastating second half of football.
Doubters? Jack O’Connor’s men silenced them all with 0-14 in 15 minutes to KO the All-Ireland champions.
A few of the small-ball counties must have picked us up as well.
I had a moan last week about how none of the All-Ireland SHC semi- finalists had opened their doors to the media.
Dublin did not play ball — which is a shame ahead of their first last-four appearance since 2013.
But Cork, Tipperary and Kilkenny welcomed us with open arms.

Maya, 30, captured herself travelling through Mogadishu in the back seat of a vehicle in a series of snaps posted to Instagram Stories.
She swept her dark locks over her hair in natural waves and added a pair of sunglasses despite being inside.
Yet it was her whopped £15K gold wristwatch with a cobalt blue face that commanded attention.
ITV2 presenter Maya zoomed in on the accessory in a separate image.
It has now been revealed the bling is a rare 1980’s Piaget brand Polo Day-Date Lapis Dial, with a solid yellow gold case.
Maya often showcases her stylish fashion choices both on social media and the Love Island set.
Yet Maya’s not without the odd outfit mishap – and was seen looking frazzled after she lost an earring live on Love Island’s spin-off show, Aftersun.
ON SCREEN
Meanwhile, Maya has dished the detail on secrets behind her Love Island hosting role.
Appearing on The Chunkz Show, the former BBC Radio 1 DJ admitted she refuses to find out in advance who will be dumped from the villa, saying she only gets the results the same time as the Islanders.
Maya said: “I’ve never said the wrong name, but there are cameras constantly around and they like the dramatic pauses.
Maya Jama will be a massive hit with viewers but can she replace iconic Rita Ora?
By Joshua Rom
IT’S CLEAR that The Masked Singer is a huge asset to the ITV schedule. From the reaction of viewers at home, it seems that the competition is the epitome of primetime Saturday night telly at it’s best.
Alongside the likes of Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent, the guessing game is one of the top three entertainment shows for the broadcaster as up to seven million people tune in to watch.
When we look at the show, we have a real mix of personalities involved. Joel Dommett’s unique style as a host is carefully balanced by the sharp and witty panel of judges. We have singing star power in the form of Rita Ora, veterans of the business in the form of Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross and comedy value from Mo Gilligan.
The dynamics of the panel work perfectly as Jonathan would take sarcastic jibes at Rita as Davina and Mo would be in hysterics
Last series Rita was forced to take time of the show as she had other commitments across the pond. Huge names such as Nicole Scherzinger, Olly Murs and Jennifer Saunders took her place.
Rita’s star is only on the rise in Hollywood and she’s set to star in a new film alongside the likes of legends such as Robert De Niro and Jamie Foxx in Tin Soldier. This is alongside her marriage to Academy Award winner Taika Waititi.
Clearly not happy with a part-time panelist and a rotating roster of guest judges, ITV bosses have chosen another name to take her place as Love Island star Maya Jama will join the panel. We don’t need to be worried about Rita as she will still be on the US edition.
Maya is a clear favourite amongst telly fans as they love to see her front a show like Love Island and let’s be honest, she’s the perfect fit for it. She is stunning to watch, she’s always on-trend, and very much appeals to the young fan base that flocks to the ITV2 dating show.
But The Masked Singer is a different show on a different channel. Maya is no doubt well versed in the world of television, but she will be surrounded by stars on the panel with decades more experience on air and with more universal appeal. Rita also has huge star power thanks to all her work in the music industry with several hits under her name, something which – despite her undoubted recognition as a star presenter – Maya just does not have.
By some, this could be considered as a risky move for ITV. Especially as networks fight to retain the loyalty of viewers in an age of Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+. With such drastic replacement in the panel and the inevitable shift in dynamics, the show is clearly about to change.
“There is a lot of me saying something and then it waits. It’s funny with the new Islanders, where they’re not used to me saying something and then pausing for ages and they’re all looking around like ‘is she frozen?’.
“I feel so awkward for them because they’re just standing there in their little outfits.”
Maya then explained that the producers do not create scenarios but simply “encourages” the Islanders to pull each other for a chat.
She continued: “I don’t know if it’s illegal or what but they can’t tell them what to do.
“The most they can do is encourage them to have a little chat, but it has to be real because it’s reality.”
Maya added: “I do this technique where I don’t let them tell me who’s going until I’m stood in front of them in my ear because I don’t want to stare at the person or give away.”

One eagle-eyed fan wrote: “Does anyone know what Alima has on her left shoulder? Is it a plaster?”
The small patch was visible at the top of Alima’s shoulder – but the Islander did not reveal what it was or if it was due to an injury.
However, fans were also quick to spot Harry’s plaster on his knee after sliding on the floor during the Heart Rate Challenge.
One viewer commented: “Harry with a plaster on his knee after the knee slide yesterday.”

AJ’s promoter Eddie Hearn has already been in talks with Wilder’s manager Shelly Finkel over a shock bout with Dave Allen.
And with Joshua eyeing a return before the year closes – Hearn confirmed they would go straight into a mega-fight with Wilder.
He added: “I think it’s a great fight. I mean there’s jeopardy in it, it’s dangerous. Originally I was speaking to Shelly about Dave Allen.
“I kind of get the feeling that Wilder wants to get a few fights under the belt, get a bit of confidence back.
“I think it’s great to see him returning, it’s really important that Deontay is still in the heavyweight division.
“AJ I will be here tonight. We’ve just started pinging a few opponents backwards and forwards, nothing really to talk about, but you will see AJ in the ring, November or December.”
Joshua, 35, and Wilder, 39, were once close to agreeing a huge undisputed title decider before rival broadcasters and promoters got in the way.
Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh then tried to revive the bout last year.
But after Wilder was beaten by Joseph Parker on points and knocked out by Zhilei Zhang – once again the clash was KO’d.
Wilder is now plotting another confidence-building tune-up bout – with Hearn hoping the fight with Joshua can be revived once more.
He said: “That’s the kind of fight you announce and it just gets bigger and bigger and bigger because there’s huge jeopardy in it, two massive punchers, both guys have defeats on their resume recently and yeah, important that they keep on winning.”
