Lehmann received a late call-up after initially missing the cut of her nation’s squad[/caption]
Lehmann, who stars for Serie A champions Juventus, turned up at training camp with a striking difference.
The winger, dubbed the “world’s sexiest footballer” arrived in blue denim and designer gear.
However, she also added glasses to her look.
Reacting on Instagram, one fan said: “So clean.”
A second said: “Those glasses make you look beyond wonderful.”
A third added: “Diva.”
The 26-year-old had originally missed the cut from her nation’s squad for the tournament.
However, an ankle injury to FC Koln midfielder Alena Bienz saw manager Pia Sundhage bring in the former Aston Villa star.
But Lehmann could struggle for minutes during the competition after struggling to break into the starting XI and instead being deployed as a makeshift defender.
She boasts 16.7 million followers on Instagram alone.
Regardless of her initial snub, on the platform she revealed she was delighted to receive a call-up.
She wrote: “I couldn’t be happier to represent my country at the Euros. I’m so grateful for the opportunity. Let’s make Switzerland proud and show how football is growing.”
Lehmann was named on the bench for her nation’s opening game against Norway in Basel on Wednesday.
She used to date Juventus men’s team player Douglas Luiz, having joined him in a stunning double transfer from Aston Villa.
However, in May it was reported they had broken up.
Things had started well for Switzerland in their opening game with Nadine Riesen giving the Swiss a first-half lead.
However, a second-half collapse saw Norway win the clash 2-1, with former Ballon d’Or winner Ada Hegerberg scoring the equaliser before missing a penalty.
An own goal from Julia Stierli before that penalty miss was the decisive blow in the game.
With Finland also beating Iceland 1-0 in the opener, Switzerland currently sit in third in Group A.
Lehmann did not appear off the bench.
