She spoke to The Sun at last week’s TRIC Awards[/caption]
Speaking to The Sun at last week’s TRIC Awards, she said: “I was in the gym yesterday and I do lots of weights. I know loads of women in their mid-forties who are always talking about weights massively.
“I was always into cardio, but since I ran the London Marathon, I’ve got more into weights.”
Laura, who shares son Rocco, 11, and daughter Tahlia, 10, with her ex-husband Alex Goward, often squeezes in workouts before the school run.
She said: “I sometimes get up at 5am to do so. My friends and I joke that we’re in the 5am club. I don’t do it every day, but most mornings.”
As she’s moved into her forties, Laura says she’s become more conscious about skincare and wellness – taking collagen and learning routines from her 10-year-old daughter.
The TV personality said: “She’s so into skincare – I take tips off her, because I was never like that as a teenager.”
Channel 4 star Laura also confirmed she has had cosmetic tweakments, admitting: “Oh absolutely. I’ve had Botox before, and there’s lots of people who do it, so whatever suits you. If you want to do something, then do it for you.”
And despite the pressures of being on screen, Laura believes looking good should be a personal choice.
She gushed: “I love watching things on Instagram where you’ll see someone who has had work done, and someone who hasn’t. Whether you’re on television or not, it’s completely up to you.”
Back in 2022, Laura opened up about being hailed a “pin-up” and how she often received X-rated messages.
“I get some nice complimentary messages from people,” she explained to The Daily Star during a Facebook Live.
She then revealed that she was sent a rather X-rated snap.
Laura explained at the time how she was sent a photo of one of her followers in a face mask, adding: “But let’s just say it wasn’t of their face.”
Speaking of being a pin-up, Laura gushed over how it’s “really nice” to be dubbed as a “national beauty”.
