Position Overview: Messenger / Cleaner (x2 Posts)
- Directorate: Corporate Services
- Reference Numbers: KD26/101/PB and KD28/101/PB
- Salary: R128,964.00 per annum (T04 of a Category 3 Local Authority)
- Date of Appointment: 01 October 2025 or as soon as possible
Minimum Requirements
- Basic Literacy
- One (1) year relevant experience
- Code B Driver’s License
- Ability to do basic calculations
- Proficiency in at least two of the Western Cape’s official languages (Afrikaans/English/isiXhosa)
- Physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of offices and ablution facilities
- Prepare and serve beverages; maintain beverage stock and utensils
- Handle mail collection and delivery
- Perform basic filing and administrative support tasks
- Ensure health and safety compliance while on duty
