Programme Overview
The Apprenticeship: Millwright Programme at Premier combines theoretical training (via an accredited learning centre) and practical, on-the-job experience over a 3-year period. Apprentices will work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to gain comprehensive exposure and develop their technical skills under the supervision of a qualified Artisan.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- N2 Certificate with four (4) relevant trade subjects:
- Engineering Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Mechanical and/or Electrical Theory
- Mechanical and Electrical Drawings
- N3 Qualification or Matric Certificate
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Some relevant work experience
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Motivation for continuous learning and improvement
- Technical inclination and good hand-eye coordination
- Analytical thinking with attention to detail
- Willingness to work in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment
