Marvel Rivals has continued to dominate the hero-shooter landscape since its release this past December. The game’s combination of an Overwatch 6v6 format with a roster of the most popular pop-culture characters has managed to grab everyone’s attention.

Marvel Rivals debuted with 33 playable heroes, and NetEase has brought tons of new exciting additions to the game. Currently, gamers can’t help but wonder where the hero shooter’s roster might go next, but developer NetEase Games would make a massive blunder by not bringing one X-Men that has just been resurrected.
Why Juston Seyfert belongs in Marvel Rivals
Marvel Comics has introduced us to tons of unique X-Men characters who have left their mark. However, in the early 2000s, we were introduced to Juston Seyfert, the young hero who transforms sentinels into an ally.
Unfortunately, Juston was tragically killed in Avengers Arena (2013), where Arcade forced young heroes into a deathmatch. His death left fans quite disappointed, but in Sentinels #5 by Alex Paknadel and Justin Mason, Juston has returned. Now, he has the ability to overpower all Sentinels with his nanites.
Considering Juston’s powerful abilities, he’s a perfect match for Marvel Rivals. As it’s a team-based game, we could see him taking up the role of Vanguard, using his Sentinel to protect his teammates and assist in controller assaults.
We could see a Sentinel Shielding ability that allows Juston to use his sentinel to deploy an energy shield and absorb all incoming damage to protect nearby allies. With Adaptive Offensive, the sentinel could track down enemy weaknesses and boost Juston’s attacking capabilities, or even debuff enemies.
With the help of an ability like Resilient Repair, Juston will be able to use his technical expertise to repair his sentinels and restore them over time. Seriously, the sky’s the ceiling for such a Vanguard hero, and NetEase Games must give this idea a shot.
Marvel Rivals is bringing a new skin for Black Panther

It’s a known fact that Black Panther is one of the best duelists in Marvel Rivals, as his abilities allow him to jump and exit fights rapidly. Even though he’s a fan-favorite hero, he hasn’t been given the same love as other heroes in terms of cosmetics in Marvel Rivals.
However, that’s set to change soon. Reputable insider RivalsInfo has taken to X/Twitter to share gameplay footage of the upcoming Black Panther skin called Thrice-Cursed King. This skin shows the hero wearing silver armor without any mask, which allows us to get a clear look at Black Panther’s ears and fangs.

With this skin, it seems like Black Panther has been turned into a vampire by Dracula. It was teased to us by NetEase Games earlier in Season 1 when one of the Midnight Features quests gave a gallery card that showcased Black Panther in a scary outfit.
According to leaks, the skin is supposed to be released in Marvel Rivals on March 21st and will cost 1,600 units. However, it’s crucial to take rumors with a grain of salt, as nothing has been officially confirmed yet. NetEase could always bring last-minute changes or even drop the skin altogether.
With that said, would you like to see any other X-Men in Marvel Rivals? Let us know in the comments below.
