Job Purpose
To maintain a clean, tidy, and healthy working environment at the Fire Department by performing general cleaning duties and ensuring hygienic conditions throughout the facility.
Duties
- Cleaning offices, buildings, and outside areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, polishing floors
- Maintaining the fire department’s yard
- Serving tea/coffee/water to staff and visitors
- Maintaining cleaning tools and replenishing bathroom supplies
- Stock control of cleaning materials
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 10
- Experience: At least 6 months relevant experience

- Functional: Workplace safety, task accountability, oral communication
- Public Service Orientation: Service delivery, interpersonal and communication skills
- Personal: Action orientation, resilience, ethical accountability, teamwork
