AN URGENT appeal has been issued for a missing teenager last seen five days ago in Dublin.
Gardai are appealing to the public for help in tracing the whereabouts of Britney Maughan.

The 16-year-old went missing from her home in Finglas, Dublin 11 on Wednesday.
Britney is 5’2 with a slim build, brown hair and green eyes.
When last seen, she was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit and had a white handbag.
Cops said that Britney may have travelled to the Bray area of Co. Wicklow.
They are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating Britney.
Anyone with any information on Britney’s whereabouts is asked to contact Finglas Garda station on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardai are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Britney Maughan who is reported missing from her home in Finglas, Dublin 11 since Wednesday, 18th June 2025.
“Britney is described as being approximately 5 foot two inches in height, with a slim build, brown hair and green eyes.
“When last seen, Britney was wearing a black jacket, grey tracksuit and had a white handbag.
“Britney may have travelled to the Bray area of Co. Wicklow.
“Anyone with any information on Britney’s whereabouts is asked to contact Finglas Garda station on 01 666 7500, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
Separately, gardai are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager who was last seen on Monday.
Jake Cunningham Burke, 16, was reported missing from Mountmellick, Laois.
Cops said the teen is five foot with a slim build, black hair and green eyes.
It’s believed that Jake may have travelled to the Carlow area.
Gardai are appealing to anyone with any information on Jake’s whereabouts.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardai are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old Jake Cunningham Burke who is reported missing in Mountmellick, Co. Laois since Friday, 16th June 2025.”
They added: “Anyone with any information on Jake’s whereabouts is asked to contact Portlaoise Garda station on 057 867 4100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.”
