MANILA, Philippines — A rainy Monday is expected in parts of the country due to the southwest monsoon or “habagat,” according to the Philippine, Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa). The Pagasa said that the habagat will bring rains in Metro Manila, western portion of Central Luzon and Southern Luzon, and Visayas and Mindanao.
