Feeling snacky? Sometimes we just need a sweet (or sour!) little treat to enjoy during the afternoon slump, and Trader’s Joe has got us covered big time. They just released a new chewy candy that’ll go perfectly with follow-up emails or weekend movie nights, and fans are calling it the “best candy they’ve made in years.”
During her latest Trader Joe’s visit, Instagram user @traderjoesobsessed (run by a woman named Shannon) shared photos of her latest find: Trader Joe’s Sour Strawberry Candy Belts. These are Trader Joe’s version of Sour Punch Straws or Airheads Xtremes Belts, and look oh-so-good. These pink candy strips are strawberry flavored and a delicious combo of sweet and sour.
“Have you tried these yet??” Shannon asked in her caption. She then gave her review, writing, “They could be more sour but the strawberry flavor is great 🍓 strawberry flavor!”
Shoppers seem to love this yummy treat. “THESE ARE THE BEST CANDY THEY HAVE MADE IN YEARSSSSS,” one person wrote. “OMFG !!!!!! YASSSSSS !!!!!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼” another wrote.
Fans are loyal to the unique snacks you can buy at Trader Joe’s, and the candy is no exception. One of the retailer’s most famous, perhaps, are their Dark Chocolate Peanut Cups, which are rich and has the perfect ratio of creamy peanut butter and rich dark chocolate. They also sell bags of their Teensy Candy Bars, featuring bite-sized morsels of chopped peanuts, caramel, and nougats covered in milk chocolate.
Of course, Trader Joe’s also has a huge selection of delicious salty snacks, which you should definitely stock up on as well. People need options!
