With spring right around the corner, many of us are already planning all kinds of outdoor adventures to take advantage of the nice warm weather. Whether you’ve got big plans to go hiking or spend a day with the family at your favorite theme park, you’ll need a solid pair of shoes to keep up. Fortunately, HOKA just came out with their latest version of their shopper-loved Bondi sneaker, and it already has the approval of aerobics instructors and retail workers.
“I’ve literally bought every Bondi since the 6 came out and this one does not disappoint,” one reviewer wrote. “The 9s have very comfortable feel and fit for someone like me doing 25,000 steps a day, running around in retail.” If you ask me, that’s definitely a testament to just how comfortable these shoes are. They’re also not the only ones who feel this way, but more on that later.
Let’s get into the shoes themselves. HOKA’s Bondi sneaker, in general, is known for being one of their “hardest-working” shoes and an “ultra-cushioned game-changer.” One look at the new amount of cushioning you get in the new HOKA Bondi 9, and you’ll see just how ultra-cushioned a shoe can actually be. In fact, HOKA increased the stack height of the latest version and even added a a new premium foam midsole for an extra smooth and soft feel. Not to mention, you get an extra bit of bounce with each step. Additionally, the shoe has a plush, 3D molded collar, which offers “ankle-hugging comfort.”
The shoe comes in multiple colors, many of which are new and perfect for the upcoming spring season. As someone who likes a more minimalist look to my sneakers, I love that the HOKA Bondi 9s come in monochrome options, like all white or the pretty Starlight Glow lavender (my personal fave!). But if you love the bright and bold colorways that HOKA is known for, there are also options available for you, like the Blue Spark/Mint Fluoride combo, which one shopper swears is “very close to a Tiffany blue.”
Although the HOKA Bondi 9 just dropped recently, it’s already getting a ton of love from shoppers who swear it’s one of the comfiest versions of the Bondi yet. For instance, one shopper wrote, “I love the new Hoka Bondi 9! I was a huge fan of the Bondi 7, and probably ran through a dozen pairs of those over several years. The Bondi 8 didn’t work for me at all. It felt like a completely different shoe, and I had to try something else. So, I was a bit skeptical when the Bondi 9 was released. When mine arrived, I put them on and went for a run. Six miles later, I knew they were a keeper! Great cushion with excellent support. So thankful I gave them a try! Great shoe that I will keep going back to in the future.”
The new Bondi 9 also has the stamp of approval from an aerobics instructor. “The best, far above the rest. These workout shoes are the best thing I’ve ever put on my feet! I teach aerobics, and attend other fitness classes five days a week. The extra toe room, arch support, and super supportive sole is a game-changer. I’ll NEVER buy anything else for workouts, dance, or walk/running.”
Lastly, if you want a walking or running shoe that offers unbeatable comfort, you have to get your feet into a pair of HOKA Bondi 9s. “Straight out of the box, no break-in required. Crazy comfy,” wrote one shopper. “Walked 4 miles the other day, 5.5 miles yesterday, and zero pain. It’s perfect. I’m going to have to buy multiple pairs once more colors come out. I’m dreading any change they will make to this one. Thank you, HOKA.”
The new HOKA Bondi is available to shop at a number of retailers, such as HOKA, Nordstrom, and Dick’s Sporting Goods. Like the reviewers above, I’ve personally loved all the HOKA sneakers I’ve tried due. The brand truly makes some of the comfiest sneakers out there. Who knows?
