The pair started off their podcast with the name NearlyWeds and, after their London nuptials in April 2023, re-named to suit their new husband-and-wife status.
Yet after almost two years as man and wife Sophie told how there had been cracks.
In a special episode which also featured the couple’s recent lie detector results, Sophie explained their marriage gripes.
The Wednesdays podcast host confessed: “When Jamie’s really, really angry with me, when we have had the worst fight ever, what he does is he’ll come in and he’ll go, Sophie – I’m leaving you.”
As Candy Kittens founder Jamie, 36, could be heard cackling away in the background, she continued: “And he does it, maybe, I’d say twice a year.
“And I’ll go, okay. And he’ll be like ‘I don’t want you to react.
“‘But there’s no point in talking to me. I am leaving you.
“‘And I, I’ve got my backpack and I’m going and I go, all right.”
It came after after Sophie told how they had a “raging argument” the night before their flat was burgled.
In the terrifying incident, an intruder had attempted to raid their home as they slept.
It came after the pair revealed their very different sex drives.
While Jamie confessed he fancied getting frisky every day, he told how Sophie was up for it “twice a year.”
Around the same time, Sophie joked he was “bog standard” between the sheets.
SEEKING ADVICE
Jamie previously suggested the couple start seeing a marriage therapist and they now have therapy together twice a month.

He explained: “I said to Sophie, ‘Look, 40 or 50 per cent of marriages end in divorce, I think it’ll be really good to do’, so we still go every other week and I think therapy brings self-awareness.
“It opens you up and makes you more empathetic. It makes you basically not become a sociopath and it allows you to have another opinion.
“You’ve got to communicate for ever, otherwise these things boil up, and going to therapy gives us the best chance of surviving this up-and-down life we’re going to have.
“So twice a month we sit down for an hour, and I’ve learned lots of lessons.”
