KATIE Taylor defeated Amanda Serrano in Madison Square Garden to make it three from three for the Irish boxer in their trilogy.
Jake Paul’s reaction to the fight was surprisingly respectful taking to social media to reflect on the event.

The American YouTuber turned boxing promoter said: “Amanda Serrano is the 126 lb champion.
“She dared to be great three times against Katie Taylor and all three fights were extremely close.
“Together they lifted the sport for all women and I’m honoured to have played a part in their legacy defining success.”
The co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) – who Serrano is signed to – conceded that the event was about much more than who won the third round of the trilogy.
He added: “Women won tonight. Congratulations.”
Paul’s humble and sincere reaction came as a surprise to many as he was considerably less respectful on social media following Serrano’s second defeat to Taylor.
The boxing promoter said: “Amanda Serrano won. She’s the biggest star in women’s combat sport.
“Amanda Serrano has 51 pro fights. She has been cut in just 2 of those fights. Both against Katie Taylor. Only solution is to run the trilogy in MMA @PFLMMA”
The Puerto Rican was also critical of the judges decision after the second fight of the trilogy having said: “I landed 107 more punches, she got a point deducted and I lost 95-94 lmao.”
The pair were much more gracious in defeat following Friday nights fight with Serrano taking to social media to praise her opponent.
The 36-year-old said: “So blessed to have shared the Ring with such an Amazing fighter @KatieTaylor
“To be considered the Greatest you have to act like one. She does that both in & out the Ring. Thank you truly”.
The event was the first all-women’s boxing card to be held in Madison Square Garden and it was in front of a sell out crowd.
No matter who won the main event that night, they were both history makers setting a huge milestone for not just women’s boxing but women’s sports as a whole.
Jake Paul played a huge role in the event by promoting it along with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing as the fight was shown on Netflix.
