I found the best dupe for a necklace I’ve seen all over social media in Primark & it’s LESS than a seventh of the price

SHOPPERS are going wild after spotting a stunning necklace in Primark for just £4.

And not only is it gorgeous and purse-friendly, but it’s much cheaper and an almost identical dupe for a head-turning piece of jewellery that’s recently been plastered all over social media.

So if your purse is feeling tighter than ever before but you want to look stylish without breaking the bank, then you’ve come to the right place and will need to listen up.

One Primark shopper was left open-mouthed after browsing the jewellery section in her local store, when she spotted a beautiful charm necklace that’s perfect for holidays.

Thrilled with her find, which cost her less than a fiver, bargain hunter Kathy Louise Murray took to social media to show off her new purchase, leaving many gobsmacked.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with 2.6 million members, Kathy uploaded a snap of the £4 necklace, alongside a screenshot of a much more expensive but strikingly similar buy from a small business.

Alongside the post, the Primark superfan wrote: “I’ve been seeing the necklace on the left quite a bit on social media recently.

“I really like it but didn’t really want to pay £30 for it.

“I then found this one in Primark and it looks exactly the same and was just £4.”

Thrilled with her purchase, she added: “It looks so nice on, I love it.”

While the Gold Ocean Letter Necklace from SAEGE originally retails at £45 but has since been slashed to £30, Primark’s Initial Charm Necklace will cost shoppers only £4.

The beach inspired gold-toned charm necklace has seven charms, just like the more expensive version, but is less than a seventh of the price, so is great for those strapped for cash.

With this bargain buy, you’ll not only save £26 compared to the more expensive buy, but you’re sure to add style to any summer outfit and are bound to turn heads this season.

And shoppers have clearly been left very impressed with the high street find, as Kathy’s post has quickly amassed 202 likes and 46 comments in less than 24 hours.

Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget

By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor

AS someone who’s no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it’s about time that celebrities started catching on too.

For as long as I’ve been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those “I have nothing to wear” moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect.

And I’m definitely not alone – on any Friday or Saturday night, you’ll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time.

But no matter what, Primark always delivers.

Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores.

While Rita’s not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she’s proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less.

Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham – if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards.

With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I’m sure more stars will be following suit soon enough.

Fashion fans raced to the comments to share their thoughts on the “luxurious” necklace, as one person said: “Love the Primark one.”

Another added: “They look so much more luxurious than the price tag!”

I actually think the Primark one looks nicer!

A third commented: “Ooh I like this.”

Whilst someone else beamed: “I actually think the Primark one looks nicer!”

But at the same time, many encouraged shoppers to “support small businesses” and slammed Primark’s alternative buy.

One user snapped: “Buy cheap, buy twice.. help the small businesses instead of making them go out of business.”

Top Primark summer buys

IF you’re looking for more Primark summer buys, then you’ve come to the right place.

Shoppers have recently been raving about the new Miffy PJs from Primark.

Others were desperate to nab the new leopard print nightwear.

If animal print is your thing, you’ll want to check out the new maxi skirts.

The haltnerneck tops are perfect for summer.

If you’re on a budget, these trousers are identical to a pair from Zara, but without the hefty price tag.

There’s brilliant travel essentials for less than £10.

And if you plan on heading to the beach, you won’t want to miss these crochet bags.

A second chimed in: “The cheaper one will probably tarnish very quickly.”

Another user claimed: “Bargain but unfortunately the Primark one will only last a couple of wears, they tarnish so quick.”

But in response to comments, Kathy later wrote: “Also…people are allowed to buy what they want to buy without judgment or people giving their opinions on what’s right or wrong…just saying!”
