A cleaning-obsessed traveller has gone viral after revealing what she calls the “best method ever” for getting your windows crystal clear.
She’s warning fellow cleaning fans never to clean windows on a sunny day if you’re after a smear-free finish.

Angela Ann Doherty, known as @cleaningwithangelaannd on TikTok, has built a loyal following for her no-nonsense cleaning hacks, and this one’s already getting a lot of attention.
She claims the secret to streak-free windows is all about technique and timing.
Angela explained: “Only use a tiny bit of washing up liquid.”
She then advises to wash and dry your window as normal but here’s the magic step – buff it up with a Vileda shammy.
According to her, this leaves glass absolutely gleaming.
But she’s got a stern warning, whatever you do, don’t try it on a sunny day.
Angela said: “The sun reacts with the bubbles and causes smears.”
And she’s not having any of the old-school advice either.
She warned fans to steer clear of “newspaper and vinegar” as the newspaper will clump, causing another mess to clean up and in Angela’s words the vinegar “just stinks”.
The traveller TikToker swears by this method and insists it’s a family secret passed down from her mum, promising you won’t be disappointed.
Her fans love her for being straight-talking and honest about everything, from hoovering holy pictures, to drying surfaces with extra-thick yellow cloths to help ease the pain in her hands.
And if you want your house smelling as fresh as it looks, she’s also obsessed with baby powder-scented Spanish cleaning sprays, all of which she gets from the Little Spanish Cleaning Company.
So there you have it, if you want your windows gleaming, ditch the vinegar, avoid the sunshine, and grab yourself a shammy.
Your house, and your nose, will thank you.
Meanwhile, it’s not just windows that Angela is mad about.
The traveller has revealed how she spends 40 minutes a day cleaning her front and back doors.
Angela Ann Doherty, who has white PVC doors and windows, is determined to keep them looking clean and shiny.
She explained that she scrubs them thoroughly to ensure “every nook and cranny” is sparkling clean before rewashing them.
She’s keen to share her tips and tricks, having previously shared the six life lessons they are taught as young girls, with one of the key rules revolving around food and drink.
