RTE star Claire Byrne weighs in on Kanye West’s ‘naked wife’ stunt at Grammys and reveals overshadowed ‘real story’

RTE star Claire Byrne has weighed in on Kanye West’s “naked wife” stunt at the Grammys.

The Runaway rapper and his wife Bianca Censori caused quite the stir at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, which were held on Sunday, February 2, in Los Angeles.

Bianca, 30, shocked onlookers at the prestigious Hollywood event by wearing nothing but a sheer dress over her naked body.

She paraded her bare figure as she posed beside her stern-looking husband Kanye West, 47.

Initially, she covered herself in a big black fur coat as she made her way onto the carpet, before turning her back on the paparazzi and removing it slowly.

Bianca – who married Kanye in December 2022 – then turned and faced them directly, maintaining a cool expression as they snapped photos of her bare body.

The fashion stunt has taken over the commentary that followed the Grammys and thousands of people have shared their opinions.

RTE host Claire Byrne took to Instagram last night to give her twopence on the controversy.

The mum-of-two revealed the real star of the show for her saying: “Social media coverage about the Grammys bombarded us with the story of a strange man telling his naked wife to pose for the cameras, when Cynthia Erivo, belting out Fly Me to the Moon, was the real story.

“A fully-formed star.”

Kanye allegedly hosted a watch party during the ceremony before heading over to his after-party with his longtime pal Justin Laboy, who hosts the podcast The Download.

The event ran from 10 pm until 2 am and insiders told The U.S. Sun it was only fun for die-hard Kanye fans who wanted to be in his presence.

“It was a really young crowd and people were mostly just stood around holding their cell phones trying to video Ye, some people left saying it was whack and not worth staying,” one source said.

“Ye has his interview with Justin projected on a large screen and then played new tracks, it wasn’t really a party atmosphere.

NO YE!

“The only time people were seen dancing was when Bianca sang along to Adele’s Rolling In The Deep.”

Kanye played at least one new track featuring his daughter North West and confirmed in the podcast preview that his new album, Bully, will finally be released on her birthday, June 15.

Kanye was then seen posing for the paparazzi next to his all-chrome Mercedes Maybachs and signing autographs.

At one point, he is said to have hesitated when he was presented with a photograph of him interrupting Taylor Swift‘s acceptance speech at the Grammys.

He eventually agreed to sign it and appeared happy to be chatting to fans after the party and be back in Los Angeles after spending months in Tokyo, Japan.
