Celebrating his 27th birthday, Robert Capron is much older than he was when he played the role of Rowley.

Robert took on the role of Rowley Jefferson in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid when he was 12 years of age.
The role of Rowley in the beloved 2010 comedy film, was the best friend of the main character Greg Heffley.
Greg was portrayed by Zachary Gordon, whom Robert reunited with last year.
More than 15 years on from his starring role, Robert looks unrecognizable from his on-screen character of Rowley.
Pop culture X account PopCrave posted a recent snap of Robert to commemorate his 27th birthday on July 9.
“Happy 27th birthday to Diary of a Wimpy Kid star Robert Capron,” the account penned alongside the snaps they shared.
Reacting to the snaps and Robert’s “glow up“, one person penned: “wow what happened he’s so hot now.”
“The glow up is real,” declared a second.
“Those don’t look even remotely close to the same person, did you use the wrong picture?” asked a third, who was baffled by the glow up.
While a fourth said: “He’s changed a lot.”
The post has had over 7.6 million views, and 213,000 likes.

Zachary, who Robert starred alongside in the flick, shared a tribute to his pal for his birthday two days ago.
“Happy bday to my ride or die… Zoo-Wee-Mama,” he penned alongside a series of snaps.
“It’s so cool that you guys are friends irl, that bond must be pretty powerful,” said one person in the comments section.
While a second penned: “Two handsome men right there.”
Though Robert shot to fame in Diary Of A Wimpy Kid, Robert actually made his acting debut three years prior.
In 2009 he landed a small part in the movie Bride Wars in 2009 alongside Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway.
But it was Diary Of A Wimpy Kid that shot him to stardom.
The hit film was based on Jeff Kinney’s 2007 book of the same name.
There ended up being three movies in the franchise overall.
