Kaizer Chiefs transfer news: Knox Mutizwa, Moloisane, Rhodes, R15 million

Kaizer Chiefs have been encouraged to sign more quality players after three consecutive losses in the Netherlands.

Amakhosi are currently wrapping up their pre-season camp in the Netherlands, but things have not been going well result-wise. The team has suffered three losses against Dutch teams. In those matches, Amakhosi only scored once and conceded seven times.

Some fans feel this tour should be a wake-up call for Nasreddine Nabi and Amakhosi management. So far, the club has signed six players during the current transfer period.

Which players can Kaizer Chiefs sign?

Knox Mutizwa

The 31-year-old Golden Arrows striker has been one of the most consistent forwards in the PSL over the years. He has scored over 50 goals in the past seven years and is often regarded as the ‘Kaizer Chiefs slayer’.

Instead of Falvio Silva, Amakhosi should have brought in Mutizwa. Silva has looked sluggish in the pre-season so far.

Jaedin Rhodes

The 22-year-old midfielder is one of the players linked to Chiefs, If the Soweto giants can pull this move off, they will at least have a quality attacking midfielder who can give the club options upfront.

Thabo Moloisane

Kaizer Chiefs need experience at the back and Moloisane is someone who can stablise Amakhosi’s defence. Having let in 32 goals last season, it’s clear to see the team’s problem is mainly in defence.

Another player the club can go for is Elias Mokwana but his club Esperance want R15 million for the Bafana Bafana winger.

Kaizer Chiefs will play their final two practice matches in the Netherlands before returning home.

Which players can Chiefs still sign?
