Deadline report the French-Canadian format sees singers from different generations perform songs to a live audience.
The show – called Zenith – takes place in an arena with an audience as a whopping 100 judges from a variety of generations critique each performance.
Each judge is either a Boomer, Gen X, Millennial or Gen Z.
Zenith runs for 13 weeks and features 24 contestants, who sing old and new hits.
The Sun understands the show has not yet been commissioned for a series by ITV.
The X Factor previously ran from 2004 until it was rested by ITV in 2018.
It’s unclear if Simon Cowell will have any involved in the new show.
During X Factor’s 15-series run featured an array of famous judges including music mogul Simon.
It produced stars such as One Direction, Leona Lewis, Little Mix, Alexandra Burke and Olly Murs.
