Kaizer Chiefs linked with Zajmovic

30-year-old Bosnian Dzenan Zajmovic bagged seven goals and two assists in the league last season, as well as three goals from two Nedbank Cup outings. The country’s big clubs could be interested in signing the Belgium-born star on a free transfer this winter.

“Two clubs have already contacted us from the PSL. South Africa is a nice country with a good league, and I would love to continue playing there at a new club,” Zajmovic told KickOff.

“I felt at home and will never shut a door for anything to do with South Africa, and my wife and kids know about it. It was an amazing experience being in South Africa.

“Football was good, and life was also the same, so there was a connection to being in a good mental space and playing football.”

Maart leaves Kaizer Chiefs for a reported R15 million

In three years at the club since moving from Sekhukhune, Maart has clocked up 95 appearances with seven goals and eight assists. SV Ried secured promotion to the Austrian Bundesliga for the 2025-2026 season. It’s believed that Ried will part with €720k (R15 million) to land Maart.
