LUKE LITTLER was in nine-dart heaven as he became the sport’s Prince of Wales – and banked himself a set of Gold Darts.
And amazingly, The Nuke predicted he would achieve the feat on social media.

At 3pm on Thursday, Littler joked on Instagram that his “nine-darter in Leicester was 60-51-30 so take a hint”.
Eight hours later, he lived up to his word, hitting a perfect leg, nailed on double 15, in leg four in a stunning showdown as he edged out Michael ven Gerwen 6-4 in Cardiff to earn a third nightly Premier League of the season.
The Warrington teenager was punching the air in delight and had all the Welshmen and women in the arena on their feet in celebration.
It was his first one since the nine-darter in the final of the O2 Arena last May when he became Prem champion on his debut.
He emulates Luke Humphries and Rob Cross who hit nine-darters in Brighton two weeks ago.
And it means he will receive a set of £30,000 18ct gold darts next week in Newcastle off title sponsors BetMGM.
It was a stunning all-round display for the table-topper and he has moved a step closer to booking his spot in the four-man playoff in London in late May.
He is now six points clear of Luke Humphries at the top of the table after seven events.
Stephen Bunting was beaten 6-2 by Newcastle United fan Chris Dobey – on a high since the League Cup win at Wembley – in quarter-final one.
The Bullet has now lost SEVEN matches in a row – a record since the format changed in 2022.
Humphries, the world No.1, had a brain freeze in the final legs of his 6-4 quarter-final defeat to Van Gerwen but he remains second in the eight-man league.
