However, club transfer chiefs remain on the hunt for a new No9 following the struggles of Rasmus Hojlund last season.
That has seen Man Utd turn to the free agency market.
And SunSport understands they have been offered the chance to sign three experienced Premier League and ex-England aces in the form of Jamie Vardy, Callum Wilson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Amorim wants to snap up the 28-year-old as a third or fourth-choice option – a far cry from when the Three Lions star reached double figures in the top flight in 2019/20 and 2020/21 before injuries ravaged his career.
Vardy, 38, has also been tipped for a stunning move to Wrexham after leaving Leicester and ending 13 years of service with the Foxes.
Likewise, 33-year-old Wilson announced on Monday he had left Newcastle after four years.

The former Bournemouth ace has attracted interest from Man Utd’s rival Leeds, who have been promoted back to Premier League for the upcoming season.
However, a Man Utd move for any of these three stars will only materialise towards the end of the window if they have failed to land their top targets.

It’s previously been claimed the club have been keeping tabs on 25-year-old Fiorentina ace Moise Kean, who has a £45m release clause in his contract with the Italian outfit.
Man Utd will be able to take a first-hand look at the former Everton star when Fiorentina visit Old Trafford for a friendly on August 9 – with legendary goalkeeper David de Gea also making a return.
