The luckiness of each day is related to planetary alignment.
“Some dates in 2025 will be the luckiest for love, and some are the luckiest for cash, whereas others are great for travel,” Inbaal explains.
“There’s a lot of talk about Mercury retrograde and the problems it brings, but it’s not just Mercury that causes it.
“Every planet goes through retrograde with some regularity.
“Troubles and misfortune can befall us when planets go through retrograde.”
The days that have no planets in retrograde at all in 2025 are set to be the luckiest ones of the year.
But what they’re particularly lucky for depends on the alignment of the planets on that specific day.

The luckiest day to get married
This is February 28, according to Inbaal.
“This date, during romantic Pisces season, when the Mercury planet of communication is also in Pisces, is a wonderful time for saying ‘I do’,” she explains.
“The sign of Pisces is sensitive and believes in true love and commitment.
“This day is during the new moon in Pisces, which is auspicious for new beginnings.
“Saturn and Neptune, which are two other planets in the Solar System, are in Pisces too, making this date extremely effective for tying the knot.”
The luckiest day to buy a house
This is May 12 in 2025, so unfortunately after the stamp duty changes are in effect.
“This date, during home-loving Taurus season, when Mercury planet of communication is also in Taurus, is auspicious for striking down roots,” Inbaal says.
“The sign of Taurus is stable and secure and loves feeling safe in its own castle.
“This day is on a full moon, which enhances good luck, and no major planets are in retrograde, so there are no unexpected obstacles.
“Venus, the planet of the home is in the feisty sign of Aries on that day, so you might even negotiate a great bargain.”
The luckiest day to buy a lottery ticket
Get yourself to the supermarket kiosk on June 24 if you want to win the lottery.
“Two of the luckiest bodies in the sky meet up for a chat on that date,” Inbaal explains. “Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, growth and expansion is in conjunction with the Sun, meaning they’re near each other.
“The Sun’s influence on luck and positivity is self-evident. Its warm rays bestow fortune on whatever is nearest.
“This conjunction is wonderful for good luck, and since both the Sun and Jupiter are in the home-loving sign of Cancer on that day, it means that this good fortune remains close to home.
“It is the perfect for a lottery ticket bought locally or online.”
The luckiest day to ask out your crush
You might think this one is Valentine’s Day on February 14, but it’s actually August 15, says Inbaal.
“In order to ask out your crush, you need confidence and you need to be able to show off,” the astrologer explains.
“Showing off is a specialty of Leo season, and on this day, Mercury planet of communication is in Leo, too.
“It is a Friday, a day for Freya, the Goddess of love.
“Venus, the planet of love, is in the sensitive sign of Cancer on that day, encouraging a romantic mindset.”
The luckiest day to propose
Again, you might think the best day for this is Valentine’s Day – but it’s actually August 23.
“Venus, the planet of love, is in the sensitive sign of Cancer on that date, which means that the proposal, as well as the answer, will be given from the heart,” says Inbaal.
“This date is the new moon in the sensible sign of Virgo. A new moon is a wonderful time for beginnings, and wise Virgo will help you make the right decision.
“It is the first day of Virgo season, a time for organising, a great time to tidy up our lives.
“On this day, Mercury’s planet of communication is going direct, so the proposal will be received positively, the way it was intended.”
The luckiest day to go for a job interview
If you’re looking for your dream job, schedule that interview around September 21.
“The new moon in Virgo is an auspicious time to go for a new role,” Inbaal recommends.
“Virgo is a sensible sign that can showcase its neat and organised persona. The New Moon is a great time for a fresh start. Venus, the planet of the home is also in Virgo on that day.
“In addition, Mercury planet of communication and Mars planet of passion are in the balanced sign of Libra, which fosters the ability to get along with a wide spectrum of people.
“Since this is a Sunday, and not many job interviews take place on that day, do your best to schedule your interview for the earliest available time slot on Monday, in order to ensure that you carry those energies forward.”
The luckiest day to ask for a promotion
The luckiest day for this is December 15, says Inbaal.
“This is the day that Mars, the planet of passion, has left fiery Sagittarius and journeyed into business-minded Capricorn,” the astrologer explains.
“On that day, multiple other planets are in Sagittarius, and it is still during Sagittarius season.
“The sign of Sagittarius is linked with growth and expansion, so fits well with promotions.
“The free-spirited nature of Sagittarius also helps you give off the impression that if you didn’t get the promotion, you could easily go elsewhere.
“It’s a great time to ask for that promotion, but the positive answer won’t come back until January.
“Set the meeting, explain your reasons, and let the powers that be go on their festive breaks, and come back to you with an offer once they’ve had a rest and a mince pie.”
