Pastor Ituah Ighodalo has opened up about life after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Ibidun Ighodalo, who died while on official duty in Port Harcourt. Her sudden passing left the renowned cleric to raise their two children alone.
Speaking in a recent interview with Nigeria Info on 99.3FM, Pastor Ighodalo revealed that in the early days following his wife’s death, he couldn’t imagine marrying again. He admitted that he had given all of his love to Ibidun and believed there was nothing left for someone else.
However, over time, he said healing came, and he was able to shift his focus to his spiritual calling and responsibilities as a minister.
When asked if there was currently a special woman in his life, Pastor Ighodalo chuckled, saying it was hard to say for certain. He noted that he had been down the road of romantic prospects before, but was choosing to place his trust in God rather than yielding to outside pressure.
He stressed that deciding to remarry is a complex issue that involves deep reflection and consideration of many factors.
Addressing past rumors that linked him to actress Kate Henshaw, the pastor dismissed the speculation. Still, he acknowledged that although he once believed remarriage was out of the question, the passage of time had shown him that love after loss might indeed be possible.

“When Ibidun died, I thought it was impossible. Like I said then, I had given her everything, all the love I could give. However, time heals everything, and time compensates. A lot of people are putting me under pressure, but I am not listening to them. I am listening to my heart, and my heart says that it is possible. I cannot say there is someone at the corner. I’ve been down that road many times. I am believing God and focusing on Him. It has not been an easy decision. There are many things to consider.”
